Tom saved my butt! We were visiting Alpena for a couple days and I needed a quick turnaround repair on bent a rear derailleur on my mountain bike. Even though he didn’t have the replacement parts, he was able to get it back in place and running like new - vacation saved! He was knowledgeable, friendly, reasonably priced, and got me fixed quickly. Thanks, Tom!…also has an amazing shop dog that the kids loved🙂

Very poor service . Took bike to get wheel fixed couldnt fix it, wanted me to by a $600 bike, charged me $30. Had to take to another bike shop to get fixed. Other bike shop fixed it without any problems.

The only true bike shop in alpena. Great customer service. Not just bikes; disc golf, canoes, stand up paddle boards. And if you need someone to ride with they always have group rides you can join every week!

Excellent shop and customer service. Just about every type of bike available and loads accessories to boot. Also sells kayaks, canoes and SUP boards. Very knowledgable staff. Best in the Northern Michigan by far!!! (Plus they offer group rides around Alpena for all levels).

Harborside Cycle & Sport has been a great addition to Alpena! It is the only place in the area that has cross country ski rentals & the owner & staff are friendly & knowledgeable.. There are Group rides weekly for road & MTB. Its wonderful to get together with people who enjoy the outdoors & cycling!

If you disc golf they do not carry much of anything, its no wonder that the local course look the way they do.
