Nice, knowledgeable, and friendly  staff. Typical Pier One, with merchandise piled up everywhere creating navigational hazards.   I visited 3 times and was welcomed at the front door.  If I was ever in the market for the sort of items that Pier One sells, I would return to this store.

Pretty sad when people in this state are too dumb to realize Pier 1 has been gone for months and leave a negative review...

The associate greeting was very unprofessional. There was NO line into the store but when we walked in she snapped at us telling us to wait outside until she called us. Not sure how she would have even known we were there when her back was turned to the door and she was just talking to a friend. Let alone if she even knew there were 25 people in the store. Then every time one person left she condescendingly said only one person could enter (wow! Is that how math works?! lol) through the crack of the door and then closed it... didn’t even open the door or greet us properly. Talk about rude. Then she got into an altercation with a customer and was yelling! After that she wouldn’t stop talking about the customer with another associate. I guess there was something wrong with her... literally so shocked she still has a job but then again this store is going out of business. As for the store... not a great selection but honestly I probably wouldn’t have bought anything even if I found something I liked just based on that associate.

Nice store. We seem to have lunch here making place settings for the table. Downside is they can be expensive. The staff here is awesome. As you are shopping they will collect your items at the counter. The downside of that is that it makes it really easy to forget whats there and you can spend a lot more that way.

I had some trouble with my gift card and customer service was not able to assist me and I was trying to handle all matters as I was trying to make a purchase at the store. The manager kindly assisted me and gave me more help and absolutely amazing customer service! I’m thankful I was at the store and she was able to assist me with all my needs. I would suggest visiting this location in case you run into any troubles while at the store.

This is one of my favorite stores to walk into - the decor and installations are always beautiful and intricately set up. I always spend 15min to explore the store and look at the different seasonal decorations and items. It’s great to see the staff be so friendly and helpful as well, great store!

I believe I spoke with a woman named Bonnie. She sounded very rushed and impatient. I was asking about some cushions that I can’t find at any other store. It’s super frustrating when you buy something from Pier 1 and then can never find a replacement for it again, especially cushions that can become worn over time. She pretty much tried to talk me out of getting them like oh someone has them on hold so you’d have to see if they pick them up. And if they don’t you’d still have to pay shipping (duh, I didn’t expect them to be shipped for free). Then she stated it would take 1-2 weeks to ship them because she doesn’t have shipping material to pack them etc etc. Gosh, with employees like that you’d go out of business, it seems like such a bother for her to work with a customer or to sell product. Usually companies have employees to get product sold to customers, or so I thought. I’ve spend over $10,000 purchasing items from Pier 1 for our new home. But I won’t ever purchase from them again.

Everyone was very helpful especially the manager. My daughter and I were purchasing pieces at two different stores during her move to Alpharetta. The manager was wonderful and I would recommend this store to everyone.

First come first serve if you really want to get something from here before its all sold out come and mask up

POOR SERVICE.As I walked in the door, two associates looked at me and neither of them acknowledged my presence. However, I continued to walk around to check out their new products and sale items. At this point I am in the store about 15 minutes and was not greeted by any associate. The store was not packed and there was only one customer at check-out. I love Pier1 but I did not like the customer service at the Alpharetta, GA location. I gave them at least 2 stars because I do love their product.

I love changing the decor for each season or important holiday and you always see stuff for each season, nice well made and even sales.I really like their furniture.It also can be seasonal .Hard to find in other places!!

If your looking for something that is just a little different, try Pier 1. No, they dont have everything, but it feels like they do. Yes, it can be a little messy and yes, it is a little hard to find things. But somehow, that is part of the experience.

You have to work a little to get the right deal, but this turns out to be a great place to buy specialty furniture. Manager is geat to work with.

THE WORST SERVICE EVER. There is a reason online shopping is becoming the first choice and stores like Pier 1 are going out of business. I was one of the customers that was choosing between Amazon or Pier 1 Imports for the exact same items. I ended up ordering online at Pier 1 because it was cheaper. But little did I know that the service would be even cheaper. It was a no-brainer to order online and pick up in store because their shipping option almost just as much as the items! I have wanted the Swingasan for a while and the chair is sold separately from the stand, so I ordered both and sent it to the Alpharetta store. After arranging a car big enough to fit these large items, I drove 30 minutes to the store and received the worst service ever! They gave us the stand which was unwrapped, scratched and dented and the chair which was wrapped. We said we cannot accept the stand like this and they said then we would have to drive to a store 35 minutes away and their stand may or may not be in the same condition (but we would only find out if we look at it in person). This wouldnt have been the worst experience if it wasnt paired with the worst customer service. The manager on duty named Taylor, who is probably a college dropout aged 21 or 22, didnt even leave her little hole of an office to serve our concerns. Instead, the elderly associate helping us had to walk back and forth to Taylors office at least 8 times, which took her 10 minutes every time, and still the girl wouldnt walk all the way out to talk to us. So we accepted only the chair and cushion and agreed to drive to the Cumming store for the stand. On top of that, we asked several times about the hardware and they told us that they cannot give us the hardware with the chair because we would receive it with the stand in Cumming.We arrive to the Cumming store and asked for the our stand on hold. The manager on duty, Diana, also aged about 22, comes out and we pointed out that the base of the stand is not in good condition. She and her associate give us an attitude, as if this is just how it comes! So we asked, do you just receive your bases without any wrapping or protection?! And they said they dont know, but out of the 6 they had back there, this was the only good one. They just kept saying we dont know why they are unwrapped or how long they have been that way, seems like they clearly dont need any management, since it doesnt seem to help anyway. Finally, we asked them for a discount for damaged product at least and Diana gave us 20% off. But of course they refused to give us any hardware (so at this point we have the pieces but no hardware to put it all together! she said the other store should have given it to you and there is nothing she can do. Just stood there staring at us like she doesnt get what the big deal is, and us driving back again to Alpharetta just for hardware was no big deal. Not only that, but we asked her to call Alpharetta and tell them to ship us the hardware since it was their fault and she couldnt manage to even try and lift a finger. Just kept repeating that they wont do that and its not her fault either, and that Pier 1 Imports doesnt ship hardware. It seems like each store is its own independent company, because she kept blaming Alpharetta and said she cant take responsibility! Do you ALL not work for the same freaking company?! Even another associate said that they should at least ship them the hardware after all this trouble, but she just could care less. Then they all proceeded on saying that a lot of people complain about Alpharettas store and that we should only shop at the Cumming store because they will take care of us...ya right! Also, Business 101 - when another store in the same district or area or state loses customers because you talk badly about them...then it doesnt mean you make more money you idiots, because you ALL work for the SAME company!!! Finally we returned the stand after paying for it, & going to Alpharetta to return swing. Stop hiring inexperienced 22yr olds as managers just to save money!

HIGHLY disatisfied. My dresser came in with one of the drawers shattered. It took about a month for them to get me a new one. I drove all the way to the store to find out that they ordered the wrong color drawer. I guess Ill be waiting another month...
