I love Sundance. Generally purchase online. Today I went to the Avalon Store to return a leather coat I had bought online. I have shopped at this store before and had a great experience… not today. I was really taken aback by how rudely I was treated when it was a simple return.

Shopping at Sundance at Avalon is a pleasure from start to finish. The outdoor mall and store create an inviting ambiance. The staff deliver just the right amount of customer service – they don’t hover but they pay attention to the cues from the customers which is great as some people may want more attention than others. The merchandise is so yummy – I wish I could buy the store but I have really appreciated the employee’s suggestions for styles that flatter my shape best. Thank you Sundance and your lovely crew for bringing the catalog I have loved for years to a store where I can touch fabrics and explore more options in person.

I really enjoy shopping here! The sales staff is very friendly and helpful. They give great feedback regarding the clothes and always seem to help me find just the perfect item. While I was living out of state, Sherry was a great help with some phone orders!

Wonderful customer service. My favorite store. I dont live close but its worth the 45 minute drive to me.

I just received my ELARIA SANDALS! One of the ladies in the store told me they didn’t have them in the store so she sized my foot and had me try on another sandal just to make sure that the ones I would receive would fit perfectly and they do!! I absolutely love them. The ladies that work in this store are always so welcoming and nice and they go the extra mile !!! Thank you !!😀

I reached out to the GA Sundance store when the catalog item I was looking for was no longer available. Although they did not have the item I was looking for, MaryAnna offered to find out if any of the other stores might have what I was looking for. She located my item in the Chicago Sundance store and let them know I would be calling. By the time I reached them, Becky at Deer Park had it already to process by her register.You ladies are awesome! Thank you!! After reading recent reviews, I have decided not to drive an hour to reach a store whose employees are less than welcoming. I will make my purchase online. I have always loved the items I have bought from Sundance and am disappointed that salespersons are impersonal. Hopefully, this store will address this issue and reviews will reflect improvements.

Absolutely love shopping here! Such a beautiful store and very unique and stylish boutique style clothes and the shoes and boots are amazing! Customer service is EXCELLENT, the ladies are always friendly and very helpful.

Rough start to the visit, no one greeted me at all. It all turned around when a specific employee spent 20 minutes with me showing me jewelry. She was really fantastic. The longer I was there, the warmer the staff became. Great experience.

Incredible rude saleswoman (might have been the manager). Stop making shoppers feel guilty for simple requests like putting something on hold.

Yesterday I visited this shop for the second time. I have been receiving the catalogue for years and have ordered a thing or two in the past. I was curious what the store was like and was there to exchange a product for a different size. While there I decided to take a minute and look at other items in the store. The sales person who was helping me was very aloof. She seemed to be bothered that I was there and though I was pleasant and continued to be so, she remained aloof. I was dressed for work so it wasnt perhaps how I looked. I was pleasant, so it wasnt that she might be annoyed with my attitude. I am in marketing and one of the most important pieces of marketing especially in retail is to remember to be welcoming, pleasant and accommodating to your customers. Mission before me. No matter how bad a day you are having make sure to make the customer feel welcomed. Who knows, they might actually buy more products. NOTE: The first time I was in this store was a bit better but there was still a sense of preoccupation with something else, the computer system? Perhaps the primary focus should remain on walk in customers and secondary focus the computer system? Hope this note helps.

The people who work here seemed to go out of their way to greet the customers around their own age (40s, 50s), while I (20s) waited by the jewelry counter for twenty minutes with zero acknowledgement. I attempted to approach at least three different women and was completely ignored in favor of other, older customers nearby.No customer should ever be made to feel that awkward and inconvenient in a retail space. Ill stick to the catalog if this is what to expect from the store.

The staff at this store are completely incredible!! I usually hate shopping at stores because it feels so impersonal, but at the Avalon Sundance they remember everything and make your experience personal and as corny as it sounds cozy.

This store has beautiful things, theres no disputing that. I went into the store yesterday to purchase a pair of shoes by Kork-Ease, as the email I received from Sundance said that all shoes were 20% off. The ones I wanted were not in store, but the sales person said they could be ordered and shipped to the store. When the salespeople rang up the order, they refused to take the 20% off, because it was on in store purchases only. I call this BAIT AND SWITCH. The sales person brought out two other pairs of Kork Ease shoes in another style, but of course they were not what I wanted.This store is always hit or miss, some of the associates are nice, others not so much. The BAIT And switch tactics are not what I expected from Sundance, and I have no idea why they would do this. Have no desire to go back anytime soon if they take advantage of loyal customers.

Love Sundance. So darn expensive. Oh well.
