This was my second visit (during COVID-19) and I was impressed that they were quick and prepared even with limited hours. the Dr explained everything about the tests that I have requested and best of all I was not pushed into getting new glasses.
Have been a patient at this location for a long time. After Dr. Early retired just not the same anymore. Had an appointment scheduled for 10:20 am and at 10:45 am was still not seen . No explanation was given why my appointment was running late. Could not wait to be seen any longer and sadly was not able to have my problem addressed. I think it’s time to look for a new physician!
How disappointing! DO NOT go to this location anymore! Dr. Early has retired and this practice simply went down... The new doctors assistants are absolutely incompetent and the store people are extremely pushy to sell. I had been going to visit this location with Dr. Early for many years, called to make an appointment with him, was told that he had retired but decided to give it a shot and make an appt with the new doctor. Showed up for my appointment, the doctors assistant could not find my insurance provider, did not make ANY efforts to resolve the situation, she had my insurance card in her hands (she could have called them, right?), instead, she kept saying names to see if it would ring a bell... then offered me to pay for everything up front and then I could sort it out with my insurance later. Meanwhile the store sales person interrupted us to say the store was running a 40% mark down on selected frames... I RAN away. Will NEVER return. I cannot say anything about the new doctor though, never had a chance to see the guy, but hey Dr. Howell, if youre reading this, you really should find yourself better staff to assist you. If this place keeps it up like this, hear me, IT WILL FAIL!
I had an eye exam and needs to be fitted for glasses. Alan was very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend the Windward Pkwy location . I have my glasses now and they fit perfectly.
This place is seriously terrible. All of the employees are very unprofessional and indolent. The African American woman behind the computer is insanely RUDE and aggressive, also gives out illegal medical advice when asking about Cataracts. NOTE She has no education clearly or a medical/optometrist license...so why does she wear a white coat? Seems like shes just a minimum wage technician/assistant. I did not see her smile once throughout the whole visit. As for the old woman up front that tried to shove glasses down my mothers throat is clearly desperate for business. This place just needs to be shut down and reopened with a new name and new employees, wasnt surprised to come here and see all the terrible reviews. Take your time and hard earned money elsewhere.. Walmart will give you a better experience
Terrible service. If you would like to feel like you are at a car dealership, this is your place. Barbara has messed up my sons glasses twice, and has tried to upsell saying the problem is within the lens breakage, and saying that I obviously will not invest because You only want to get whats covered by your insurance. Disgusting, obviously a commission based environment. Do yourself a favor, and go to Costco, with significantly better prices, doctors and better office staff. The Eye Doctors assistant is also rude and unfriendly. Would not recommend.

I would like to thank Barbara Downes for the absolutely wonderful help she was to me last night. Barbara is so professional and takes special care to satisfy her customers needs. I highly recommend Barbara at the Windward Pkwy location.
Extremely disappointed. Had a prescription for distance and readers, and received only a pair of reading glasses. Extremely expensive. Barbara was the one who took the order and when I tried to complain, was told it would take time to adjust to bifocals, which is not what I received. Definitely would not recommend.
Entire experience was easy, quick, efficient, and thorough. Love my new glasses, too!
If youd like to waste half an hour of your life in a frustrating exchange, this is your place.I made an appointment for an eye exam, and when I arrived for it, they told me they couldnt find me in the system. That I must be at the wrong eye glass store. Then they had trouble running my insurance.So, I think its safe to say that the front desk staff is less than competent. They kept insisting that I was at the wrong place until I handed one of the women my phone to show her the confirmation. The two women told me I could stay and they would squeeze me in even though I had an appointment, and I would just have to pay for it upfront.Needless to say, I will be looking for a new eye doctor if you need me.
Good selection of glasses. Experienced doctor and great staff. They usually have very good offers and help you find the perfect frame for you.
I appreciate the patience they have but there are other places with better selection and prices.
DR EARLEY IS NOT at this location anymore. I have been going here with my family for years and I have called twice trying to make an appointment yet both times have FAILED. I got hung up on after being on hold, and I was promised to get a call back to schedule the appointment because the doctor was on lunch. I said odd, I did not know Dr. Earley schedules his own appointments and thats when I was informed that he left the practice. Dr. Earley would have never allowed such unprofessionalism. Ill be taking my family elsewhere.
Extremely disappointed. We came in and placed an order for new glasses for our daughter (whoms glasses had broken) on January 19, 2019. We were told it will take 7 business days, 10 being the latest. I received a phone call on the 10th business day saying there was a back order and the lab was waiting on the frames...THE 10TH DAY. Here it is, February 4th and they are saying it will be another couple days...This has been our go to for the past five years and have paid ALL out of pocket. Very disappointed that we were notified LATE. Too late to even cancel our order.
It’s been over three weeks and they still do not have my glasses. I am the one that had to call 2.5 weeks after I bought them and they still were not in and I was told I would get a call back with an update from the lab in the next hour - I never did and called again 3 days later. I wish I read the reviews on this place before I spent almost $250 on glasses. This store does not seem organized at all.

I wish we could get negative review, but 1 is the minimum. There were 4 people in the store, but none of them came to help us with the glasses selection. All of them eventually went inside their office and didnt attend to the people at all. Few of them started leaving out shortly as well, in spite of us asking for help from one of the store person. Avoid this store if you can.
Overpriced. You are better off going to Costco if you have a membership.
