This was my first experience with Duck Donuts and I was thoroughly impressed. I was not aware it was a franchise until after I left and googled it. When we walked in Young was super attentive, welcoming and explained the whole process. I loved how the donuts are fresh and made-to-order. We ended up ordering a dozen and getting an iced caramel macchiato. Everything was delicious and I love warm donuts. It was hard to pick a favorite. From the service to the food, everything was 5 stars!

Wow!! Literally the best donut I’ve ever tasted in my life!! The donut was crispy and the flavors were so good! I can’t believe I haven’t been to this place sooner. I was slightly overwhelmed with all the flavor options-I wanted to try them all! I only ordered donuts so I can’t comment on the sandwiches and coffee drinks. $1.85 per donut and they are made to order=WIN!

The best made-to-order donuts ever, you can pick and design your own! They come out hot, fresh and taste a bit like funnel cake. The owners are so sweet, and the place is very clean. Definitely check it out.

The staff was really nice when we were there. I like the concept of getting warm, freshly made donuts, and there are many different toppings/varieties. You can even make your own. However I found the donuts to be very very oily, especially when they are freshly out of the fryer (it even upset my stomach after about an hour). I tried one the next day and it was somewhat better, but the dough was far from the real, good quality donut dough. They are quite small too, which I liked, but it might be an issue for those who are used to bigger ones.

Donuts cooked to order. Nice idea. Unfortunately, what I received for my purchase disappointed me. The donuts bore no resemblance to the advertised product. The donuts were cooked right in front of me, they were darker than expected, and greasy. For the price paid for each donut, my expectations were much higher. I can only recommend this place as a place to avoid if you are looking to get good donuts. I heard about this place first from a friend and then i saw a foodie video on them so thought to try thier donuts. I liked that they make it to order and then they customize it. It gives you fresh donut as well as any customization you need. I just like to get my donuts quicker as they take some time in customizing donuts, so they lose the warmth in it.

Saw this place on Google. I wanted to take my son here to experience the donuts. Ordered 12. $18.75 They are freshly made so they come out hot. Delicious too. My son ordered a banana pudding shake and it was really yummy! My daughter ordered a coconut mocha drink. It was decent but she didnt taste any coconut. But overall a positive experience.

I would never visit the location again. I have been to several duck donuts in other states so I always want to see consistency. This location is not consistent with what I’ve been getting at other locations. Presentation was horrible and when I mentioned it, the lady helping me suddenly became confused due to language barrier. I’ll visit the other locations in GA but not this one. The picture with the single donut is what I got from the Alpharetta location and the full box is what I got from a duck donuts out of state.

The owner and his wife are super helpful and sweet. The donuts tasted amazing and they had very unique flavors. Definitely take the extra time and go here instead of any of the donut chain!

Really good, freshly made donuts and excellent service. All of the donuts are made fresh right in front of you and they come out too hot to eat right away. The older woman and gentleman working at the store were super nice and welcoming.The donuts are fried so they have a somewhat unique texture and flavor compared to the typical donuts you would get at Dunkin Donuts or a standard donut shop. Theyre a little pricey ($1.75) but totally worth it in my opinion.The one downside is that you can only get the basic style donut, so no cream filled, eclair, crueller or anything like that. But for the flavor and service I would definitely come back again if Im in the area.

Best donuts . The place is very neat and the donuts are prepared freshly after the order. We loved all the toppings. Our favorite was cinnamon dusted and the glaze. Definitely recommend this place to others

Not really a fan. Got a small cold brew coffee (it was good), a donut with one small sausage patty and one donut with chocolate icing. Cost as much as a dozen at Rays or Dannys where I get to choose all kinds of goodies. Ill pass.

Great atmosphere - perfect on a hot day because they keep the AC nice and cold, great tasting iced coffee - but the best part is the made to order fresh donuts, no sitting in a tray or under a lamp. It’s local owned by a really nice Korean family.

Dont miss this gem! Ive made it my personal journey to visit as many coffee joints within 5 miles of my hotel as possible. This is the best in 5 days! Coffee is great with plenty of choices and accommodations and the donuts are too dire for. Not to sweet but sweet enough. Amazing texture. And still warm! Give them a go for sure, if youre up for a treat.Staff is friendly and its not too busy.

Had these donuts for the first time, the donuts were really small and they werent drenched in icing as its displayed online. Just the top portion. The druid hills locations size in donuts, as well as it being fresh. These donuts looked like they bought them plain and did the icing themselves, lazily. You can tell when you take the first bite that they were not made to order. Would rather make the drive to druid hills for way better displayed donuts, as well as size and taste.

My very favorite donuts. They make them custom while you wait. While this may take a while, especially in the morning, its worth it. Their donuts are delicious, especially when fresh and warm

Sad they werent open Monday after the 4th of July I was out that way. Bacon doughnut sounds off...but it is the best getting a whole dozen next time. (There is an upcharge for the bacon but totally worth it)

These are by far the best donuts I have ever tasted in my life! A friend recommended this location to me. And I usually only eat Krispy Kreme doughnuts but I had a craving for donuts and I decided to try out duck donuts. I tried the apple pie doughnut and the original glazed doughnut. and I must say I have literally been three times back to back .This is my new donut spot and I highly recommend going here! Trust me you will not regret it!

The staff was so kind and helpful, they made sure we enjoyed the macchiatos and asked if they needed modifying. I haven’t even gotten to the food yet 😂 The donuts were absolutely freaking delicious! I don’t think it matters which kind you get, they’re all amazing. Warm and fluffy and fresh, and not too sweet. Glad I’m 25 min away cause if I was closer I’d definitely be gaining some pounds!

Sweeeeet! not to mention so Fresh! Although the donuts are a bit smaller, the friendly owners glaze and decorate right there on the spot as my other donuts are being churned out in a miniature conveyor of sorts. Homemade and Handmade - cant get any better. While not a big donut eater in general, I found myself eating 5 in my first sitting!!! It was a good thing that I bought 2 dozens so that I can share with others the same, enticing experience. :)) Owners encouraged me to pre-order next time to avoid the waiting time but the 15 minute wait was very worthwhile since you can do shopping at Walgreens or Fresh Market in the same shopping strip.

Seriously, these donuts are delicately delicious. Not too sweet, and just right. Even the next day, the donuts still remained soft. Their coffee was strong and offered a quick jolt as we love strong coffee. We were thoroughly impressed with the quick service. It clearly appears to be a family affair. There were four people on staff, a friendly young lady at the counter, a young man sweeping and cleaning around the sweet elderly couple (maybe husband & wife), who were making the donuts. The place was immaculate! It was moderately busy for a Saturday morning, but yet with only 4 people on staff, they swiftly worked together & seamlessly it worked beautifully. Donuts are made to order and I just loved how darn sweet and accommodating they all were. Smiles all around. Delicious donuts & nice people makes the world a better place! Will go back.

We stopped by this establishment today for a Sunday afternoon crave of doughnuts. We were NOT disappointed. These doughnuts were made to order Fresh & delicious. We ordered a customized dozen. The concept is neat. A vanilla cake doughnut cooked to perfection and a selection of toppings to customize it. It seems simple, but this doughnut is scrumptious.Normally a doughnut fresh out the oil tastes like a mound of fried, oily dough. That is not the case with this doughnut. It is a cake doughnut, but not too heavy. When the toppings are added when they are still hot, it is something to behold. Hands down these are the best doughnuts Ive encountered in many years. My favorites thus far are cinnamon sugar and the simple glaze. I have a few more to try out of the dozen, so I am certain I will be adding more favorites to the list.They live up to their slogan: Warm, Delicious & Made to Order! We will definitely pay this establishment a return visit.

My fiancé and I get duck donuts fairly frequently. The food is good and the workers are sweet, but every time we order online, when we arrive they forget half our order and we have to wait for them to make it. It’s not that big of a issue, but it happens every time we order so it’s gotten a little frustrating. The donuts are very good which is why this is a 4 star review.

Duck Donuts is an amazing donut shop! I went in on a whim to try their key lime pie donut, and I was so impressed. My donuts were made fresh to order and handed to me piping hot! I enjoyed watching the sweet lady pridefully prepare my order! I’ll definitely be back soon!

Okay so I came here before and I ordered 12 donuts but only 10 came. There were grease imprints from the two donuts that were removed. And we noticed that there were only 10 but we didn’t want to wait 30 more minutes for 2 more donuts. And when we got home we realized that there were two grease imprints. Today it happened AGAIN! I ordered 6 donuts and only five came. I saw one grade imprint. But, today I confronted them and said that there were only 5 donuts. And lucky me I said no receipt to help the earth, so I had no way to prove what I ordered. If there was 1/5 a star option then I would chose that instead of 1 star.

But you will be put at ease as soon as you realize your donut is made right there on the spot - fresh, tasty, and warm.Duck donuts is amazing and I wish they could be everywhere.

Absolutely AMAZING. Donuts made fresh the moment you order, an amazing amount of options for you to mix and match per each donut. $15 for a dozen but we felt it was worth it. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We went on a Sunday at 11am it was not overwhelmingly busy. Would suggest this place to anyone !

I cant believe this gem has been down the street from our house all this time, and were just discovering them. They make them fresh when you order, so they were warm and soft inside.We tried the french toast, key lime/graham cracker, maple glaze with bacon crumbs and salted caramel drizzle, chocolate glaze with coconut and peanuts, powdered sugar, and lemon glaze with raspberry drizzle. They are a little smaller than I feel some other donuts Ive had have been, but they were delicious.Im officially spoiled and have found my new donut spot. Anything less than Duck would be uncivilized.
