Simply products are wonderful and a little international. You can find from Korean Cabage to Bulgarian Sheep Cheese at this Armanian-American grocery. Most of prices are competitive or cheaper than most grocery stores. Armanians or American-Armanians are good peoples. Thank you for keeping up with good supplies of what we want.

First time being here and not sure if I’d be back. They have a huge selection of spices, fresh produce, cheese, meat which was really nice. BUT their fresh produce were ultimate hit or miss. While nectarines, green beans, and a few others looked pretty fresh, berries, figs, cactus fruits, apples and many others were molded and/or mushy. The fresh produce pricing was cheaper than any other places I’ve been to, but there weren’t many options left after opting out on the bad ones.Not sure if it was just a bad day, but I wish they had better system for keeping their produce fresh.

Super King is an indoor grocers bizarre of ancient and modern foods from exotic locals! Its clean, the ilses are fully stocked, the prices are affordable and the staff is friendly and diverse. It was my first experience shopping there and I was innundated with the sights and smells of the Eastern European, European, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and Hispanic/Latin mixtures of beautifully displayed foods! If you go there, be sure to venture into the fine wines and liquor department! They have an exquisite variety suitable for the ametur as well as the expert imbiber.Im a fan and will definitely return!

Still the best selection of fresh vegetables and fruits. The fruits are not as perfect looking as some major chain supermarkets but they look freshly picked and taste great. If you need parsley in large quantities, say for taboolah, or need lots of green onions or Kale or any of the other green, Super King is the place to be. Most of the time the greens are sold as 3 to 5 bunches for $1! They have tons of middle eastern, Latin and other ethnic food selection. If you’ve not been here before, you owe it to yourself to visit at least once!

This is ac weekly super market my family goes to. We do all grocery shopping here. Great prices! Lots of variety & selection.. you cant beat the the prices here for groceries anywhere else.

My gf is from #Estonia. Her name is @edith_soot. She is physically disable, chronically ill. We have been together for 8 months now.We wanted to have a nice home dinner, so we went to @superkingmarkets #altadena, since they have international food that reminds us of home. It is very common for @edith_soot to be under a lot of pain. The lady in the cashier notice that she was not feeling good, and she was very sweet in offering her water. We walked to the parking and I offered to bring the car since she was having trouble breathing. She was sitting with her walker in a blue - disable zone, near the handicap parking with the same color. When I went to pick her up, she was crying. One of the workers from the parking (next picture) was moving shopping carts and needed to cross by where Edith was sitting. She was very dizzy. He demanded her to move in a very cruel way by whistling to her, like a dog. Without having any consideration under the physical situation she was going through the fact that she was sitting in a walker seat. She felt humiliated. The worse thing, after I picked her up in tears, he went to talk to his supervisor and victimized his situation by saying that she was blocking his work! I find this super offensive, inconsiderable and wanted to share this story to my friends to create awareness of individuals that are chronically Ill and/or have an invisible disability like my angel.Today we wanted to have nice dinner at home, a good excuse for women’s day. A day we mutually value in our home-countries (in Argentina they just legalize abortion for women in unhealthy situations preventing them from doing it illegally). But I believe it is the beginning to be more awake on the injustice that many people are still suffering. Many of don’t or can’t speak. Let’s try to make this world a better place by just being nice to each other and by caring. All time fave supermarket, especially in the summer. Produce prices are competitive! Our summers are that much more memorable because of Vallarta! Peaches, nectarines, cherries, watermelon, mangoes, plums, and more... Fall produce, too-- apples, pears, berries, dates, figs... Bulk nuts... Excellent prices, and beautiful Armenian communities shop here... Pomegranate juice, good price... Cheeses and meats in the deli are awesome prices... Fresh okra, bell pepper and various herbs-- excellent prices. Seasonal exotic fruits on hand...

With already crowded shopper. The female janitor with a broom followed customers around. I met her a few time then l realized she stopped next to me. After a moment. I asked her whats this for? No answer from her. No smile. Then l searched for the floor and saw some leaves on the floor to my right. OK. I stepped back for her. She cleaned it and moved on to the next spot. Wordless still. She behaved like she been inprogrammed or something.Then l kept on shopping. Suddenly a guy named Ivan who was stalking vegetable next to me told me l should not park my cart like that. But I didnt block any traffic. I met him several times in the store before. He is always rude. You can tell he is some kind of person who is mean, bullying and non professional. I guess he thought l am a nice person and he can do something about me and get revenge for that janitor.He stalked vegetables during work hour. Which is absolutly annoying.Lousy employees.

All the cashiers are Rude and I dont know if the managers name is Claudia she has long hair and she wears a blue shirt the majority of the cashiers wk like they are Robots they dont greet the customers they dont say Thank you I think they are only there to get there cks bad customers service my rude cashiers name was like Francita dont remember she was at the express at 6pm.will not recommend this store.

The produce and deli departments are really good. The standard canned and boxed American grocery products are sometimes a little high compared to sell prices at other stores but not that unreasonable. But the best think about the store for me is that they actually play good music in the background. While shopping in there Ive heard The Yardbirds, Kinks, Hendrix, Rolling Stones, and more. Muzak doesnt exist here.

This market has the best vegetables. I will be back again soon.

This is an awesome grocery store for produce!

Purchased a Modelo 24 Beer box, didnt realize that it was the smaller 7oz bottles as it was placed with the normal sized bottles.Went back the store director, not only he didnt offer an exchange or a return or possibly some cash back as courtesy since the box of 7oz is TEN 12oz bottles less beer and the price for a 24 box of smaller bottles is $18 everywhere else, not $22!To take advantage of people during a pandemic with inflation and already high prices is the lowest level any corporation and the people behind it could possibly go, especially that they are the only business that never shut down during the pandemic and greed has certainly hit the roof here.

Superking has fresh produce and fruit. The price is very reasonable on most. Occasionally the cashier will misidentify and charge the wrong thing, but the customer service is courteous and will adjust the price

Love Super King- it’s incredible! Amazing and diverse fresh produce and extensive foods selection! Fantastic Deli and a full bakery. If you dont find the specific product you want here, then it probably doesnt exist. Shopping here is a total experience. And their parking lot is always a nightmare.

Surprised with everything from selection to quality. The only disappointment was the deli only sells cut of meat but doesnt actually make sandwiches. Why call it a deli then?

This is our go to go grocery store. we visit here every week for vegetables, meat, condiments, etc. price is very reasonable, and very convenient from where we live.

Actually I just started to attend a supermarket. I find Im pleasantly surprised by the product that they have available. I live in Altadena, so I used to frequent the store but not as much, but now theres certain products that I need because of my budget and it serves it well and the products that they sell are good!

I have learned to smell my meats, seafood before purchasing. You have to look at the expiration dates on your jars, bottles. The Manager Michael is just collecting a check. I believe most of the Managers lack customer concerns.

Absolutely do not buy ANY meat or seafood, it is in disgusting condition, it is at spoiling point if not already stinky and spoiled.

I like the meat prices are good, but dont like the fact that they took the bakery out so they can expand their alcohol, now I have to shop elsewhere for my bread that I use to love from there, its not the same thats why its a 4 star

I usually get produce from Super King. The variety, quality and freshness of produce is much better than the other stores. I even get hard to find items at other places like fenugreek leaves, fresh okra etc at super king too. And the prices are way too low compared to other stores like Ralphs and Vons.

Great! The place is well stocked. Their employees are doing a good job making sure product doesnt get low. With whats going on, its a breath or fresh not to have to go into a place and have to rush and look for stuff.

S King is always fun, I enjoy the fruts, vegetables, is a great place to shop, prices are best to get the weekly sales

Theres not as many people before the pandemic but theres still a lot of people. The workers are wearing masks and gloves. There are a lot of items to choose from which is nice.

This is small, local market chain. Its super convenient has super affordable produce. Has all the basics, but being a small market you may not find a wide variety of certain products. Example you for looking for diet Sprite, you wont find it but you will find diet Coke which is much more popular. One thing I notice as well as its always super clean and I appreciate that.

Just visited Super King since their remodel and learned that they no longer have a fresh bakery.🤨 They always had a great fresh bread selection. They now have a huge liquor section which I guess is where the money is. Still a great neighborhood store!🤗

Lots of fresh produce, selection of international products are reasonable priced. Kind of a one stop shop. I would have give it a 5 star, but they never have enough cash registers open. So you cant expect be in and out of the store. Parking is tight and be ware people rushing. Best time to go is in the mornings if you dont like the hustle an bustle but not everything will be out.

Lots of changes over the last year..not all great. Removing the bakery made no sense. They have great deli meats and no fresh rolls anymore. Enlarged liquor section..I guess this is their priority being a big liquor store
