This Walmart is not a Supercenter, nor is it a neighborhood market. It is somewhere in between. It definitely does not have the size and selection of a Supercenter, but you will find household items, personal care items, clothing, and some food. Definitely worth stopping by if you dont need to drive out to a Supercenter.

Not a supermarket but good enough for loose necessary items.

It is Walmart - as expected. Busy but all went well and self checkout efficient. Was looking for eyeglass repair kit and was a bit challenging to find, but reasonable.

Long lines, two do it yourself checkouts only one full service line 15 people. Full carts. Register clerk was so slow it seemed like she was on vacation. Spoke to customer service, they said they were short-staffed. I asked youre going to have one register for all those people? Man was casual, I cant do anything about that sir. Rest of my experience was acceptable.

Worst Walmart ever. The selection is 1 name brand...maybe 1 off brand. Do not ever need to go grocery shopping here...or need many home accessories...or...a variety of anything. There is no deli or even wide-ish range of foods n such. This is a necessities only shopping center. If you get overwhelmed with choices, this is your store. Never enough people working here either. Never enough places to check out. Quick stop only, folks. Know what you want and get in & OUT.

Its always crowded and the safe check out is always backed up. The normal check out are always closed.Can never find help in the departments! Its to the point where I hate going there.

Old style Wal-Mart. Fine if you just need a few things. Very limited selection of items. No meat or produce sections. Mostly dry goods.

They had a lot of Disney items but of course it was limited supplies on shirts. Heavy traffic for sure

The little girls they have monitoring the self check out make you feel so uncomfortable; I had a xl countertop oven and 6 smaller items which I rang up first. Both girls stood right behind me watching me like a hawk and one of them said “dang that junk only $7.69” out loud referring to the oven when I hadn’t even gotten to scan it yet. Maybe don’t have only self checkouts open if your so concerned about theft .... very uncomfortable experience and worse Walmart I’ve been to for sure but it was the closest one from the mall before I got back on the highway according to my gps

Local Walmart For The Win FTW! Quick in and out is totally doable and its full of the great products and prices we all expect to find on a daily basis.

Hard to find an associate that works for Walmart to give help making a house key.Would have done more shopping but fan out of time looking for help.

I was only visiting Walmart because a family member had to pick up their prescriptions. Other than that, I would never visit a Walmart for myself. FYI if, you want a refund you have to go back to the store you made your purchase at. They will not give you a refund at any other Walmart. So, if, you like shopping at Walmart be sure to only shop in the area in which you live. That’s to save yourself from a headache over a refund. Not sure about their policy if, you live out of state but, I wouldn’t chance it.

I want to get some Melatonin gummies There usually out of stock every single time I lookBut this time I got lucky and there was one left. Also, they rarely have the hamster food I get. But I got lucky and took the last two this time:-) friendly staff:-)

Altamonte walmart are the best. Unlike Apopka walmart. The management and staff know policies and procedures. And are very courteous.

I love to order online and have them bring it out to the car. I also have things delivered at home. They make it convenient to shop

A completely unusual store layout. It was VERY different from my usual supercenter in Ocoee. However, they had almost everything on my list, and the staff was very helpful assisting me finding things. My thanks to them.

I was just there a few minutes ago and I was not happy with my experience. As soon as I got to a self-checkout register one of the employees came in my direction and stood directly in front of me as I was checking out my items. He stood in that same spot until after I had finished my transaction. I dont like jumping to conclusions but in this case I do feel like I was being profiled. There were plenty of other customers using self-service registers. However he singled me out.

It a nice store but its a little small in the front of the store where self checkouts line and people coming in get balled up there but other then that I got 4 nice summer dresses and the cat litter I couldnt find any where else. Good variety of merchandise there and its a clean store.

The people working in the store Are real nice.Especially Christian the manager, and Amy.I dont do well with self check out when there is a big long line and people standing behind you. And I dont feel that its very sanitary especially with this coved going on.They should at least have one line where there was someone helping you especially for the handicap.Hi guess theres a Knight is a good night to go because there was enough parking.

Its a Walmart, just like every other. I just wish they had more real employees at the counters instead of the do it yourselves. The lines just get longer with them due to everyone using them instead of quick shoppers.

This place is always packed.... ALWAYS!! They only use 4 sections no. 1 fast check out, 1 check out for tobacco and the 2 sections of self check out...... ok I understand that you are trying to save money by not using registers. But, the excessive lines are ridiculous. Make more self check-outs or get people on those empty registers!!

This Walmart is smaller than others and is very busy any time I come. The employees seem to always be tired and grumpy. The selection isn’t as wide as others. There is a small food section and the sports area is varied. They have semi clean restrooms in front and in back of the store.

It is more like a mini walmart, there are no basic purchases for a family such as fresh fruit or vegetables, there are only one or two options of each item, very disappointing for what Walmart represents

I really enjoy Walmart my shopping experience is always good. And the app is so helpful when it comes to keeping track of your purchased items and great if you have returns ☺️.

Giant is...Why does the Customer Service department NEVER has more than Two (2) employees at any time ?Reminds me of the United States Postal Service - USPS, Just down the road, NEAR ZERO Customer Service. With the Exception of 10 minutes before they close. You will NEVER SEE This many USPS Employees up front working, EVER !!! Just so THEY CAN GO HOME ON TIME.Sorry for the slight deviation from WALMART, Altamonte Springs, FLA. 80+% of my visits ( Two (2) times per week ), There is ONLY ONE (1) Customer service Rep.ANDat a minimum of Six (6) customers waiting in line. Under those situations, They NEVER Call for other customer service reps to help.You will wait close to 20 minutes, just for a return, pay bill or any other service.Quite Sad

Friendly staff but when I went to make an online return, I was told the printer had been down for months and I would have to go to another store. Hope this gets fixed soon for returns, especially with the holidays approaching.

I went in to do a simple exchange and return of some items. The return went smoothly. After I did the return Terika started doing the exchange. Apparently there were some issues with the cards they use to do the exchange so she asked for some help. The two girls started trying to figure out the issue. 10 mins passed no one said anything to me Terika went over to the phone I’m guessing to check the balance of the card. She got off the phone and said the card was fine. So the two girls attempted to go through the process again. Still didn’t work. Still no communication with me to tell me what my options are. So another customer with an associate with her came up and told the third lady I didn’t see her name tag that her gift card wasn’t showing any money. So she started working with her. Finally after standing there for bout 20 mins. And I know it was 20 mins cause my boss texted me when I got to the counter at 625 and it was about 641 when I finally said look can I just leave my receipt with the clothes I am exchanging and just get my money back. Terika went to ask the 3rd lady she walked over to us and was like as you see we are having problems with the cards. I said I see that but I had been here for 20 mins I have an injured ankle that’s hurting me I just want to get my sons school clothes and go. I said can I just get my money back you have the clothes I wanted to exchange and my receipt. Yes I was fustrated but kept my tone as respectful as possible. However the third lady decided it was okay for her to get an attitude with me was like I’m trying to figure out what is going on another customer is having the same issue. That’s understandable however I been standing there for 20 mins I should be the first person who figure things out for. She continued with her attitude as she told Terika to give me my money. I then had to take my money and rebuy the clothes at the self service machine. I understand things happen but that’s when as customer service reps you come up with a plan. Especially with the customer who has been standing there for 20 mins. So not okay and had I not needed to get the clothes for my son for school I would of left everything.

Its Walmart, need I say more? Wish it was open 24 hours again. Good place to pick up everything.

Of all the Walmarts Ive seen this one is something that is honestly very poorly distributed compared to the rest. It has almost no food. They dont sell fruits or vegetables. It looks neglected. Its supposed to be a supercenter but even the neighborhood ones are better than this one. I think they should restructure it.

The staff is always friendly which is appreciated. The only reason I gave this Walmart 3 stars is because it doesnt have produce. I personally like one stop shopping. I made a trip because I needed some safe sole pads. My shoes are fairly new and I was slipping and sliding.

Need to put more cashiers up and stop using the self checkouts. Mask use is rarely enforced. Only necessity and convenience keeps me coming back. Do a better job of keeping the Masks on customers and employees (nose and mouth, not just on the chin)

Theyre always picked over far as their inventory and they somehow seem to have nobody working there because I cant tell you how many times I have went to check out and the lines are so long that I straight put my stuff down and walk out without buying anything. Outdated and cramped. Single file aisles, barely fits two carts, and even if you manage, youre guaranteed to knock something off the shelf. No deli, bakery, produce or meat department. Everything is pre-packaged and frozen. Desperately needs remodeling.

I love Walmart, however this one is older and much smaller than the Superstores Walmart builds now. Unfortunately because of lack of space they cannot expand this particular location. Thats too bad because it doesnt have all the choices the bigger stores have but it still has great prices.

I was working on my car so I walked there to get something I needed since it was the closest. Of course they didnt have it. Decided to purchase a drink for the walk back. There is a line of us in self check out but only 2 stations open. Why not open them all so we can pay and leave. Why is there always only one line open. Makes no sense. I usually drive right past Walmart to go to target.

Took daughter shopping to find out this Walmart doesnt have fresh meats or fruit. Very limited grocery section.

I bought a watch at this location, I had to change the battery but I couldnt get the back to snap on. I asked an employee in the jewelry department to help and she told me they dont have the machine to do it. Im like seriously?! I asked another employee on a second visit, she could barely speak english all she kept saying to me is no no no 🤦These companies keep riding on this covid wave, using it as an excuse not to help customers, the workers are unwilling to help and have a poor attitude... Walmart pls dont reply to this post and say you are sorry to hear I had a bad experience because you guys could not care less!!

Very cheap stuff and very good service

Tried looking for some home decor to present as a gift and came across some really nice stuff although the options were rather limited. But the employees were really informative and went out of their way to help.

Never has enough registers open unless you want to go through self checkout, staff somewhat helpful but for the most part rarely smile and act as though its a bother to help you. The one positive thing is prices are good.

Went to the automotive section and got immediately profiled. Same team member followed me to the bathroom. Team leader came to the section as I was shopping to have a huddle meeting and unfortunately had a conversation on cancel culture on the sales floor while debating a team name. Twice customer service was terrible. One didnt feel like helping me. Pointed me to someone else in a manner as if i should know who or what department i should be addressing my question to. Need a strainer stopper for my kitchen sink. Found myself in the detergent isle (laundry section at that).The next was yesterday at the checkout. The person refused a simple conversation as hi how are you doing. That was me being courteous. He neither answered nor smile. Just getting the job done. I guess thats all theyre paid for so why make an effort.In life, you never know what door will open for you. Just saying, be gracious, you have a job, do it with humble grace.Walmart makes millions of dollars, enough to compensate their staff, enough to encourage better service manner. Or it doesnt matter? They got this!

What can I say, its Wal-Mart. You love it or hate it. I came to get their over the counter insulin. $25 for a vile and you dont need a prescription. Its a life save for diabetics with no insurance.
