I never really take the time to write reviews because I rarely experience a situation where I feel the need to, however, in this case I feel as though a review is necessary! I live in Miami and haven’t had any luck finding Food Wars Vol 3 + 5. My local stores are sold out. I placed an order on a popular book store franchise’s website and they were on back order with no expectant time frame. Eventually I had to cancel my order. I even called various stores in New York to see if a family member would be able to buy them and ship them to me, but no one had them. God placed it on my heart to call the Orlando area and I found “The Collective”. Not only did they have BOTH volumes, they had absolutely no issue shipping them to me! Each employee that I spoke with was more than accommodating and had top tier customer service! They knew their product and had the Mangas ready to ship! My transaction was safe, processed efficiently, shipping was fast, and my items were packaged securely! Someone even drew a cute anime character on my shipping box! Five Star business! The Collective is a weekend staple for us. Everyone there is pleasant and they do an amazing job. Its nice to have a local comic shop remember you and grab your books for you on your way in. Always willing to order hard to find books and things when available. Card and tabletop games are always happening. If youre looking for a solid community The Collective is where its at.

Best Comic and Game store ever. Bren did a great job on his second iteration of the Collective. The gaming area is spacious and the atmosphere is wonderful.

The word community is in the stores name. It seems cliche, but its not just above the door when you walk in. You can really tell that theyve cultivated a great atmosphere. I went today as a first time customer to pick up some sleeves, and Matt and Nabeel behind the counter really made it feel like just hanging out with some friends on a Friday night. If you enjoy a clean and welcoming atmosphere where you may bump into a few like minded nerds, I would highly recommend.Ill be sure to support the store with my patronage and check out their events. Very cool game and comics store. Split roughly 50/50 between comics and games. Games focused on collectible card games, board games, and tabletop games like D&D or Warhammer. Pretty spacious with open tables to play games on. Friendly staff.

First time being there they didnt have the comic I wanted, however found a few new gems and the staff was really helpful looking forward to buying more comics from them.

We ended up going to the shop because it was next to where a friend was getting his dinner. It was okay but the truth is after weve been to Acme Comics this just wasnt good enough. There was lots of new stuff and plenty of stock and the staff was really friendly but the shop was kind of small and the old stock was nothing to really be impressed by.

I love this shop, they have everything a nerd can think of. The new location is beautiful. Cant wait to join an actual game night one day.

Nerds rejoice and enjoy a visit to this great comic book / nerd shop! We have been here several times now and my husband has even joined their Collective Membership Club. They have a solid mix of every kind of nerd genre, including comics, anime, tabletop games, card games, accessories, and figurines.The staff here really brings it up another notch as well. They have kid comics and offer a new one to our little every time we go in. She loves that she gets a book too! They also have a solid knowledge of most items and thats saying a lot since there is SO much out there to know.They have a good loyalty program and good deals as well, so be sure to ask about details for a mail list and or membership offers. They also do tabletop game nights, so check out their event calendar.Overall: A+Great nerd spot with tons to offer and great staff!!

Wow what a shop! Amazing comics for all ages, collectables figurines, board games, marvel, DC comics statues, and events. The owner and staff are super nice and welcoming. They invited us this Saturday for a event to paint the figurines. A lady comes to host the event. Super cool. My son (7) was so happy. We enjoyed the experience as well.

This place is an amazing place that truly takes care of its customers. They have a great selection of board games as well as card games and figurines that you wouldnt initially think would be at a physical location. If you want to read a comic for a lower price they also have a bin filled with lower cost comics, though they have seen better days, is still worth the purchase.

My absolute favorite comic shop. They do a lot to support indie and local comic creators and artists. Probably the biggest collection of D&D minis in Orlando. Definitely check out their live dollar auctions on Wednesday on FB.

Access the strip mall via the light at Montgomery Road. They will be located at the far end of the strip mall. **Please keep an eye for the address to change, when they complete their move, sometime around March.**Varied selection, and helpful staff. Space available for gaming, and other community things (just ask). Provides a great calendar of events, and something is happening on most any given day of the week. You can find something to satisfy, or begin, a new hobby, game, or comic... Densely packed, and always something interesting in the next shelf, cubby, or display to drool over.

Knowledgeable and good salesman but not too pushy. They make good suggestions often. Decent selection of current stuff and pretty small back issue catalog but there is some stuff there if you dig.

Staff is friendly.EDIT: Although they mostly have Citadel, this should not keep them from a 5-star review. This store is excellent, and the staff is beyond awesome. Theyre also very responsive through Facebook and address any any all questions with robust answers and support. Happy to be a member.

The Collective is of another calibre of store. Excellent customer service and selection of comic books, board games, figurines, statues, collectibles, Magic cards, it is for sure the place to go if you are looking for any of the above. I say that with confidence after years of visiting every store in the greater Orlando area, I will always come back here; nobody comes close in creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, not to mention that they have a wide selection of goods for all sorts of tabletop games, from your classic boardgames to the role playing variety. Last but not least: theres plenty of hosting for games in the shop as well, making this a great social experience as well. Absolutely would recommend!

. The store is nice but they offer pennies on the dollar for your old stock or collection. Very disappointed Good place to shop. Bad place to trade I. My opinion. In response to below - just as a sample - comics in the 12-20 dollar range they offered $2 .... magic cards in the 6-10 dollar range they offered 1 dollar.... the other stores almost double their offers and are still a little low - I will definitely be visiting those stores in the future for all my comic needs - no offense but looking up comic values without considering the grades of the comic seems a bit amateur - good luck to your little shop in the future - hopefully you find a way to not offend trades in the future.

Since moving to Florida 2 years ago I have been coming to Coliseum of Comics to check out the store. Very cool design and layout. Have tons of cool stuff and rotation of new items is quick enough where you feel like you are never seeing all the same things on every visit.I started coming here because I received some free Magic cards and Xander helped me figure out what I had and how I could get started on playing if I wanted to. His knowledge of Magic, comics and anything sold in the shop is nothing short of amazing.Great atmosphere here and the Magic community that frequents here are all great and make newbies feel right at home. Its a fun, clean and friendly place to shop. I recommend this place to everyone and I support this shop.

The quintessential comic book shop is one where you not only buy cool, nerdy things but includes a familial atmosphere. Could I possibly purchase some of these things online? Yes. Would that be less expensive? At times. HOWEVER, by buying here I am supporting my local economy and receiving incredible service. I have a physical location where I can bring my daughter and introduce to amazing fandoms filled with incredible worlds and discovery. Most important, I can do all of this in a location that values me as a customer and always makes me feel like Ive come home. I HIGHLY recommend making this your one-stop-shop for all things nerd and fun!

Best comic shop in Orlando. The amazing staff at the Collective (Xander, Dylen, & Dani) are extremely knowledgeable and super charismatic. The owner (Brendan) keeps a very well-organized with a fun atmosphere comic shop. They may be the of the “newer” comic shops in Orlando, but they have definitely established themselves in the comic and gaming industry and proved they’re here to stay. Honestly it’s really hard not to go in there every day and check out what’s new 🤗

Only comic shop in Altamonte Springs worth going to. They have a huge selection for such a homey store. They sell a plethora of figures, trading cards and nic-nacs that any gamer or nerd could need. The staff is friendly and super helpful especially in finding your item even if they dont carry it at all. Plenty of events to check out all week long too!

This tiny store has got so much great stuff inside. If youre into Comics, or gaming, or collectibles, the store has it all.

Just went in employee was more concerned with talking to his friends then doing his job. When I asked a question about a pop he very snappy and rude said that it was on hold for someone. Never knew chase pops where able to be put on hold, guess this store is does things differently. All in all I go to the one at Millenia all the time after this I may start buying my pops somewhere else. Guess my punch card will go in used.
