I Was getting ready for the hurricane and a piece of bark fell off and hit me right in the eye. Called Primary and they got me right in and did what I believe a thorough exam and made sure I had nothing left in there. Turns out the bark cut my eye and that’s what was causing me discomfort. She gave me what I needed and sent me in my way. The next morning I woke up with no pain but then if I touched my eye lid the whole eye started throbbing. I called the office and was able to speak with Dr. Correale. She made me feel comfortable that this is normal.Through this she was very nice and informative.Thank you Dr. Correale

Friendly, thorough, and going above the call of duty, especially if you have a special need. We have actually moved out of Alvin and yet we work a trip back to get our eyes taken care of. Scheduled two appointments on the same day for my kids (3 and 11). Everyone was amazing and super kind. Loved the optometrist.The lady (Alison I believe) that helped us pick out frames went above and beyond. Will definitely only be using them for eye care. Cannot recommend them enough.

Absolutely the best experience. The office in its entirety is enjoyable. From the attractive atmosphere to the friendly office staff. Dr. Correale was exceptionally kind and seemed genuinely interested in my concerns and listening to my past history. You dont find a lot of people who make you feel at ease in that way. Allison, helped me pick out the perfect glasses and was extremely helpful doing so! She made the experience feel like I had a friend there to help! This is a first rate place to get your eyes examined and to get new glasses. Excellent and friendly staff.

The staff was very professional and sanitized before and after you entered each room. My husband and I felt welcomed and comfortable.

I called Primary Eye Care Center in Alvin to schedule an appointment for my daughters. After I explained that my daughters are covered by Texas Childrens Health Plan through CHIP I was informed that those appointments are limited to once a month and that I would need to call back at the beginning of next month to schedule. I was confounded by this limitation set on patients with this type of insurance. This is not offering quality service to all patients. This is discrimination of those patients with certain insurance. I am deeply disturbed by this practice.I understand that by accepting this form of insurance, the office is getting less than what is normally charged for their services. However, they are aware of this when they agree to accept the insurance and it is not a valid reason to restrict and limit patients care.

This might be the best in town according to reviews BUT if you are that busy that repeat patients cant even get an appointment sooner than a month out staff more doctors! You might also want to school your front desk on being a bit less aloof towards people when they come in. Ill be looking for a new place.

Ive been a patient at Primary Eye Care approaching (if not over) 25 years now; from high school to now in my 40s. The staff are always professional, friendly, and, honestly, make the eye doctor appointment a pleasant experience. (I can truthfully say that Ive never had a negative experience in all these years... which is a huge testament to them, because Im pretty much a pretty big jerk most of the time...). My wife and I both are patients, and we tremendously also appreciate the evening hours (as we both work, and thus, are able to synchronize our appointments on the same evening). Catering to the needs of clients that need these later appointments is most welcome, and we are thankful! Dr. Correale is always positive and willing to take the time to talk, explain, and answer any questions or concerns you might have as well. Great, hometown folks that care about you and making sure your peepers stay healthy!

Always have a great experience with Dr Correale. Her staff that starts me off and does some of the base checks are always really good as well. They do a very thorough exam and make it so that I feel comfortable with the results. I really like going to Primary Eye Care Center because Dr. Correale is awesome. She writes me prescriptions for my glasses and she gives me the option to purchase them somewhere else if I chose to. I still by them from her anyways, but it is nice that she gives me the option. She also discusses other medically related options about my eyesight when possible.

Everyone here goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. They are highly skilled at giving you perfect sight. You only have one pair of eyes, and you can trust the professionals here. Tammy and Sandy are awesome, I went in on a Friday after my exam to order my glasses. What I did not realize was I got there a few minutes before lunch time. The receptionist assured me that it was fine and Tammy and Sandy were so gracious and accomodating they took the time to get my order correct, assuring me that it was ok I was interrupting there lunch. They are so nice and professional. When I left I noticed on the door that they close for lunch at noon. My new glasses are perfect. They may cost a little more ordering at the optometrist, but do you really want to trust your vision to a mail order company? I will definatly be back for my next exam.

I have worn glasses all of my life and this is the first place i felt completely at home with. All of the ladies i had the pleasure of working with are courteous, understanding and their passion for their career shows. I didnt feel like a number, i felt like they cared! I needed a regular exam and a diebetic exam and was very pleased to know(upon scheduling) that they are able to do both at their facility. The eye dr was very thorough and willing to explain things. After the exams, we went out into the showroom where once again i encountered two ladies- patient, yet eager to help me choose some frames. Today i could only afford the exams, but the they were very understanding of this. I thought this was the best experience i have has at an eye appt thus far. Thank You! I cant wait to order and get my new glasses. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I waited an I tire year to make a comment. I needed to see if my feelings would subside. This place attempts to be nice but theres a cold sterileness about it. The doctor essentially gave me the same scripts as from another doctor. I was not allowed to ask her any questions. And even when my contacts seemed not to be strong enough I wasnt able to speak or pass amessage on to the doctor. I was blocked at every turn. Each station had their job and you were strongly discouraged from asking or verifying questions. I got notice after notice that my exam was due. Finally I called in and they put me on a 2 month wait.Clearly we need more eye doctors here. These people act like they are the only one around. Go somewhere else if u can.

I feel like the staff at Primary Eye Care Center really care about the patients they see since they always have the most up to date technologies in their office. I doubt they would keep updating everything if they didnt want to provide their patients with the very best care possible.
