The Pharmacy staff remain rude. I was outside for pick up at the window because they are so rude and hateful when I go inside. By the way, I am 75 yrs. old and a R.N. The person who came to the window was yelling at me. I dont about what because she was yelling none stop over the speaker and I could not understand what she was saying. I am sure all parked behind me could hear her. They are unbelievably rude and mean. I hate going there but my doc keeps sending my med refills info there.

I wouldnt eve give this place half a star. The staff is always rude and does not do what is necessary for people to receive the proper prescriptions in a timely manner. They never have our refills ready and become belligerent when we ask why. Even scheduling auto refill does us no good. We have tried to be patient but this is ridiculous.

CVS Alvin has very personable staff. A young pharmacy tech, Dung, is always smiling, helpful and remembers your name. A pleasant experience during trying times. Betty & Jim Crowder

Horrible pharmacy times. There is always an issue with them not receiving my prescription even though Im looking at the prescription received confirmation from my doctor.No forethought what so ever for their patrons. Id rather roll chicken bones, attach leeches and splatter goat blood to heal myself than deal with this pharmacy.

Nothing good or bad to say. Neutral experiences. However, maps has location marked incorrectly showing it across from the college as opposed to across from ace cash express and Chevron.

I don’t know where to start, the waiting on hold for over ten minutes just to get hung up on or the pharmacist telling me it will be one more hour for my prescription to be filled for the third time. Maybe when I asked them to fax a form to my doctor and they specifically did not follow directions, that’s when I should have gone to Walgreens. I don’t deal with pharmacies or prescription issues often, but doing so with this CVS in Alvin has been an absolute nightmare!!!!

Worst pharmacy, failed to fill 3/3 prescriptions. We need to order it, a week later still we need to order it. Different scrip: we got some in and ran out again. So done.

The actual pharmacy doesnt close at 10, it closes at 8. This is very frustrating for those of us who live a long way out of town -- and they do not turn off the pharmacy or drive-through signs - they stay lit up, they just put cardboard up over the drive-through. Edit: Learned the hard way this morning that the pharmacy doesnt actually open at 8 either. No hours appear to be listed on the drive-through window, so who knows when they are actually open?They have also managed to get my wife confused with someone in Maryland and have given my wife her prescriptions and that lady my wifes. My wife is continually getting notifications for other peoples prescriptions in other states.Use Walgreens in Alvin instead.

Very rude people, rolling their eyes because I did not have insurance and had to use good rx coupons to afford the prescribed medication. Poor customer service and no compassion showed at all

I should of read the comments before, pls AVOID sending your prescription to this place, they are super rude pharmacy staff are not friendly at all they really don’t care about patients, they ignore people in the drive through . Asheanna ward was yelling at me when I was asking a simple question about my prescription. I never gave her a reason for her to talk to me that way, I just ask her to explain me why so I could ask my insurance to fix the problem and she just started screaming and rolling her eyes . For the 25 min I was in the store they never answered the phone ones. Horrible, Horrible experience never coming to this place again.

I recently had a few prescriptions called in by my Dr. The meds were ready then CVS said they would be. The pharmacist was very friendly and answered all my questions.

Honestly I’m surprised this place is still in business. I’ve NEVER had a problem with any other CVS. I’ve only been in Alvin for a short amount of time and decided to use this CVS because I’ve always used this pharmacy, but after the many issues I’ve experienced from this place I will not return and wouldn’t recommend this specific pharmacy to anyone. They’re so unorganized and unprofessional, a whole new staff and training would do the pharmacy part of this place well.

Went this morning to buy some Disney dolls that were on the weekly ad for 6.88 regular price was at 19.99. I showed the cashier the ad and she said she was new so she call someone else to fix the price on the register. I believe it was the manager. She looked at the ad and said the sale didnt start till Wednesday for the black friday. It clearly stated that after Wednesday it was regular retail. At the bottom of the ad it said it started today the 22nd. Not sure why she wouldnt price adjust it if cvs is advertising that price which is today the 22nd. Then a while ago ago I checked online to see if they were fully stocked like it said this morning and nope they are low in stock. So Im guessing a bunch of customers went to go buy 19.99 dolls today. I doubt that.

Come here if you want to waste 1hr of your life waiting in the pharmacy drive-thru and want the most inconsiderate, lazy, and obtuse pharmacy staff I’ve ever seen. Seriously, this place sucks.

Sat at the window for 10 minutes, 2ft from the woman whos job it is open the window and talk to me, while she had her back to me, engaged in what Im sure was an enthralling discussion with her coworker who looked directly at me several times. I rang the button and after a deliberately long pause for effect, she says um, yeah, Ill be right with you, ugh. Sat there for another 5 minutes watching them shoot the breeze before I laid rubber in their drive-thru.

Pharmacist is HORRIBLE! CVS guarantees waiters in 15 minutes, I know because I’ve worked for them for 7 years... I took in a Prescription for ibuprofen 600 & robaxin 500mg for my father who was in a car accident. The RPH told me they close at 8pm and that they wouldn’t be able to get it ready before closing, it was 7:40pm. I told her that I was a RPH and worked for CVS and knew the policy, she then told me “ okay, your a pharmacist, would you like to come back here and feel my waiters”? I was in awe! How unprofessional, I was only asking them to at least “ try” and if they couldn’t fill it, I would take the RX back and try somewhere else. After wasting 5 minutes going back and forth, the tech typed the script & ran around from drop off/pickup & drive thru while the pharmacist dictated from behind her station!

I just left CVS Pharmacy and the store manager I believe her name is Paige from what I could read on her badge was very rude. Paige did not have no customer service. I can tell she was having a bad day but she did not at least make eye contact. I was standing in line and there was an employee in line before me and she was getting after the employee in front of everybody. I felt bad for the employee because Paige kept telling her if you dont do your job and we get audited I can lose my job and you can lose your job. I did not see that very professional, and if you are going to talk to an employee you need to pull them to the side and not to wear your customers can see/hear. My hands were full of items and when it became my turn to be checked out she asked me twice for my CVS card. she is physically seeing me trying to put all the items on the table and, I said give me one second please.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR PRESCRIPTIONS! For other stuff? No biggie. CVS Alvin gets one star instead of ZERO because at least the cashiers help sometimes in the pharmacy even though thats not what theyre trained to do. Alvin, get another CVS or expand your CVS. The pharmacists a long time ago were sweet but I’d be everything the other reviews have described if ive had to work under those terrible requirements 5 days a week! DO NOT GO HERE! I have changed all my prescriptions to Friendswood CVS which is open till 9pm by the way.

Very rude pharmacists at this location. Waited OVER A WEEK for my medication that I cannot miss. Now next month when I go to get this medication, I will be set back another week before I can pick it up again. They gave me a partial and apparently that does not count as my pick up date. I have NEVER had this kind of issue anywhere else and will NOT be returning to this location unless it is the last option. Unfortunately, my work holds rx insurance with CVS so i am unable to choose a better pharmacy. CVS in Alvin is the worst pharmacy i have ever been to. When i asked the pharmacist for a solution to this ongoing issue, she was unable to provide me any and said if I have to go somewhere else then that would be fine.

Absolutely, the WORST PHARMACY in town. I only use them because my insurance forces me to but after yesterday, I will be using GoodRx and paying cash for my sons prescription. My husband sat in the pharmacy drive-thru for 30 minutes waiting his turn only to be told that they were closed when he got to the window! Are you freaking kidding me!? We needed that medication asap. Luckily, I was able to call a 24-hr CVS the next town over and they were pleasant and filled it for me. Will never ever be going back to this pharmacy! Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

This particular CVS in Alvin, TX is horrible!! Im not sure how they justify being a pharmacy. 99% of the time you give them the script and they have to check if its in stock, then you get the script back surprise, surprise. Im baffled by how the ordering process works. Why arent shelves stocked with basic medications like every other CVS we are forced to go to? The staff has a couple of friendly girls, but thats all they have in terms of customer service going for them. This location needs a GM to step in ASAP!!

Purchases two masks this morning for 4.13. Both of these cheap masks broke when we tried to put them on.

Went to buy some behind the counter cold medicine, brought the card to the counter, and I am told to wait because someones prescription was ready and apparantly their time is more valuable than mine, so she finished checking this guy out, and then tells me to wait again because another prescription was ready, I ended up leaving and not buying anything, will never go back.

Tried finding a birthday card and short USB cord. Cards were in considerable disarray. When trying to find the USB cord one of the attendants pointed us to some they had behind the counter for $20 but we were hoping for just a short and considerably cheaper kind. She said that we couldnt find those there. However my wife pointed out to in displays that had them. Unfortunately then displays only had it for apple and not Android. All of the Androids were out of stock. Then stood in line for almost 15 minutes while to cashiers talked with individuals trying to resolve some issue. Not a pleasant experience

Rude black lady with short haircut that works in Pharmacy Dept. thinks she can talk to people however she wants, and Pharmacist took up for her. No Customer service skills at this location, will not be back.

This use to be my favorite pharmacy. Now they take forever and their staff is extremely rude. When I took it above her the pharmacist didnt seem to care too much how the staff treated people either.
