I really appreciate the pharmacy staff. They are polite and friendly. My scripts are ready when promised and the pharmacist was very helpful. I’ve used other Walmart Pharmacy and this location is by far the best!
This Walmart is the closest one to us. It’s convenient, clean, and ordering online and pick up is flawless. They have done a great job with pick up groceries. I specifically love dealing with Yasmin, she is an absolute asset to your team there. And other employees could learn so much from her.Last weekend we were in a pinch for a last minute wedding and my son didn’t have any formal clothes. One run to this Walmart and we got everything and I mean, shoes, belt, socks, everything we needed. I’m glad this store is so close. Who doesn’t love Walmart????

I was on hold for over 20 minutes, I finally gave up and hung up. They would pick up the phone and immediately place me back on hold. I am 70 and did not want to get out if I didnt have to. Terrible service.
Like at any Walmart, or any other store, there are people with good attitude, and some with a not so good attitude, but the store is for the most part well stocked, is cleaner than many other places, it’s a safe place to go in, and out, and if you are nice, they will be nice to you
Talk about being incredibly disappointed by this pharmacy!!! I’ve been coming to this pharmacy since I was 18yrs, I am 23 now. They have gone down hill with their services and customer care. I was hit almost head on my a dump truck and severely injured my back. So because of the pain meds I’m on, they won’t fill it due to my previous medicine history. They wouldn’t even call my orthopedic doctor to verify my prescription. So while I was asking questions on “why?” I was told “I’m being aggressive” and their revoking all prescriptions from now on.There has been numerous occasions where it is extremely difficult for me to get them to fill other prescriptions also.So save your time and energy!!!! GO ELSEWHERE!!
When I got there I was really concerned, as im uninsured right now, about what the cost of my medication was going to be. After speaking with Casey (works in pharm) I felt much better - he was going to help me try and find the lowest price! He was able to knock over 100 off of my perscription cost and it was ready within 30 minutes. I feel much better and I will definitely be going back.
We didnt receive our prescription medicine on time since it was never order to begin at the time we requested and approved by my dr.It made me 4 days late taking it because of the mistake. They said they will place a new order and that I will have to wait few days longer.I finally had to call the store back myself to see If another Walmart close by will have it in stock.Unfortunately, My husband had to leave work early since I didnt feel safe driving to the further location to get the medicine I really needed for the serious condition I have. 😪Had a terrible experience at Alvin walmart pharmacy.
Slow slow slow. Stuff is never ready when u go to pick up. If they didnt work for wal mart it would be closed down.... terrible
I switched from LaMarques Walmart pharmacy to Alvins Walmart pharmacy. Difference is unbelievable. Waaay better service at Alvins location!
I really like one employee here, an older lady, Diane, Denise, something along those lines. Most of the other people are ok, too but their policies are ridiculous; they are certainly not for the benefit of the customer. We received a defective insulin pen and of course it was the last one in the box. I take it up there, thinking theyll swap it out for another, since its no fault of ours and the person tending the RX pick up line says I have to go to another line, to speak with a pharmacist. So I go wait over there, two windows over just to be told I have to contact the manufacturer, they dont deal with manufacturer defects. Well since its the last insulin pen, I ask if they can go ahead and give us a refill, which of course is a different line to go wait in. Then they decline the refill, telling me its too soon to fill, we should have enough insulin until Nov. 9. Well yeah, we would have, if the pen wasnt defective but since it is and they cant do anything for us about that, I dont see how they can in good conscience refuse to refill the rx. Diabetics need an injection daily or the consequences can be very serious. I am extremely frustrated with the whole situation.
To all Medicare supplement part D subscribers, my mother just got her monthly statement in for her medications from Medicate Cigna Part D...for month of June 2019....on this statement it states that she pick up a prescription for Xeralto when she did not because of her co pay of 285.00.... Her doctor gave her for free after finding that out....well on this statement her plans paid this Walmart pharmacy 1,141.00 and said she paid 285.00....WH?....my mother never picked up this drug but they are turning it in as picked up and paid because it states on her statement You Paid 285.00, in which was not the case....I called the Walmart pharmacy and asked to speak to the manager, the guy put me on hold and told me that he would not be in until Monday....well being that this pharmacy is only about a very small pharmacy he would of known if the manager was there before putting me on hold....so in other words he was there but was dodging my calls.....well the guy asked me what he could help me with and I asked him if they still had my mothers Xeralto on file for pickup, and he said yes, then I went to tell him well then why does is say on her statement that she picked it up, paid 285.00 and you guys got paid 1,140.00.? He was like uh uh uh- bring your statement by Monday and we will take a look....all fine and dandy but you got paid for a drug that was never picked up and it was 1100.00.....so there was some kind of fraud there, also another prescription for 48.00 they got paid, dont ever remember her taking that and paying that much, she never paid over 25.00 for her meds she pays now until her plan kicks in....grant you this showing her and her plan that part of her deductible being paid, but for them to get paid for 1,140.00, is not worth that..I wonder how many elderly they do that to and they have no idea......well called the Fraud Division at Medicare and I am to call her Medicare plan D on Monday....it blew their minds ...Lets hope they do an audit on all their records to see if this has been done before....the lady at Medicare could not understand how they could run it through without us picking it up and paying, well someone there knows how to do it and wonder if somehow they are pocketing that money or they are scammers for Medicare Patients, so beware and please check your siatements every month as I use to work for INS and know what to look for on her EOBs and Medicare statements.....she also went to memorial Hermon for a urinary infection and they did a cheat X-ray only and turne in a statement for a cat scan of the brain to...checking into that on Monday as my sister took her to ER and only chest X-ray was done, no Cat Scan, had UTI.......so please watch you medical statements that come in each month to as people are scamming Medicare patients, and Medicare....
Save yourself some time and stress and take your prescriptions elsewhere. This pharmacy had some issue with my prescriptions EVERY TIME with off the wall excuses that didnt make sense. They often stated they needed a completely new order from my doctor. These excuses were always heard after I got a text saying my prescription was ready for pick up. I would go there to pick it up only to find out it hadnt been filled and there was a major issue. I transferred my prescriptions to Walgreens and they got filled within three hours.

I have never come across a pharmacy that was this rude before. Ive been going in circles with them for 4 business days because first they didnt have my medication, and asked me to wait 2 days till they got it in. Then they wanted to verify with my doctors office AFTER I went to pick it up WHEN THEY TOLD ME ITD BE READY. So I call the Pharmacy today and they say my Doctors office verified my RX but would like to talk to me. I called my Docors office and all they asked me was, what was going on with the prescription because of how rude the pharmacist was to my Doctors staff! I immediately asked my doctor to just take this pharmacy out of my chart, and transfer it to Walgreens. I will never use a Walmart pharmacy again. I am still in shock over the way my Doctors office and I was treated by this incompetent staff at this Wal-Mart Pharmacy.
As a physicians office needing to call in a prescription for a patient that is in pain, THIS HAS TO BE THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have EVER EXPERIENCED! Even after speaking with several different employees, the fact remained that they were all RUDE and or oblivious. Thank You Walgreens Pharmacy on Gordon Street in Alvin for taking care of our patient!!!
Only used once and the monitor monkey couldnt figure out how to give me 4 of my 8 prescriptions now and the other 4 later. I left and tranferred my rx to Krogers. Mouth breathers here
We had a sick toddler and we were seeking advice on the best OTC medication to give her...the pharmacist was very rude to my husband and not helpful at all.
They dont ask questions if you pick up for somebody else, good prices on everything including non prescription items
The staff here are extremely rude. My fiance and I are never using Walmart pharmacy again.
