Cant give less than 1 star. This place has terrible customer service. Detailed list and clear request and I was interrogated by someone that was clearly wanting just to act confused. Fire him and you will grow your business!

Worst customer service!! I dont see how they stay in business. I have ordered material a few times and each time was the same. They dont respond to emails very fast and they tell you on the phone to send an email. They dont have the material in stock and are never sure if they will get it in the next week and wont know until the day before. They forgot part of my order once and didnt apologize. I would rather drive an extra 45min out of my way just to not have to give these guys business.Ive spoken to a couple people over the phone and in person and they are all the same. The store manager himself is probably the worst.

The employees are very rude. They promised to include the screws with the purchase of 14 sheets of 16 feet of metals, and when I went to pick up the order they said they were going to charge me for the screws. Not only that, they did not help me load the sheet metal on to my trailer. There’s no point of offering a deal that you’re not going to keep up, and these types of people should not be operating a business.

Hrs 8-6 huh? Bay doors wide open. Front door locked. Nobody around. Glad I drove to Alvin for nothing.

People running the place are not friendly or helpful at all. I found them to be just down right rude. their attitude suggests they dont even care whether they help you. I wont go back. from the reviews, obviously they have friends sending good reviews also.

Improvement needed in customer serviceTrain your employees

Easily the worst the McElroy branch in existence. Ive probably spent $1M over the year with McElroy (MetalMart included) and have never experienced anything like the branch in Alvin.Customer service is non existent. There were two people there at max every time i was there and it seemed like a hassle to anyone to do anything. For some reason they declined being able to take a card by phone like Ive done a hundred other times, which set the delivery back, as i dont live in Alvin. Then the product was not fabricated as specified and they expected me to pay to get it refabricated.Ive had mistakes in fabrication happen many times in the past and McElroy was always happy to fix it at no cost. Seems branch specific.To whoever reads this... just ship it from somewhere else

I called to get a quote and the guy who answered was extremely helpful. I didn’t make a purchase at the time as we were just getting quotes to prepare for a project. But as our plans are falling together, I look forward to doing business with them in the near future!

They answered the phone. Other than that the person I talked to didnt know the components I asked for and told me evrybody was gone and he was a temporary. He said h didnt know what I needed an I should call back when someone was here to help me. I suggested h take my name and number and have someone call me. Luckily I found Shade And Shelter down Hwy6 and was effortless help.

It was convenient and quick to go here. Both times I came they had the part that I needed though they were much more pricey than the bigger places that Ive gone too. Someone came out of the office to help me immediately and answered my questions and got me the components I needed

Went in and told them what I wanted .They told me it would be about 20 minutes and they got it done in 10 minutes I will definitely be back for any of my other needs

Prices are fair but the customer service is horrible. Made purchase 3/15/19 one of two employees was rude and unhelpful the other was as helpful as he possibly could but wont be returning for and more materials.

These guys are helpful & knowledgeable.Their customer service is top notch

Customer service was good and comfortable for the business they were very helpful on buying what I wanted but you really need to know what you need but thats my opinion onlyThey went way beyond there way to help me get what I needed!!

Today is the 2nd time I have been turned away from this place because they didnt have anyone to cut an aluminum panel to size. Metal Mart cant cut their own panels from time to time so unless you are buying full sheets uncut you better call first.

Horrible customer service!

Poor customer service, agree to complete a service on 2 occasions and backed out both times. Ended up getting material elsewhere. Not recommend.
