I rented from the Alvin location years ago when they were branded as Uncle Bobs. Came back a few months ago. Trent is SUPER friendly and really cares about his customers.. Great place to store your items. When it was time to clean out the storage unit, I quickly realized that we had forgotten to keep a broom to sweep up the dirt and small trash. I picked up what I could and called the front office to let them know the issue. Al helped me out and was able to get the account closed on time. Great and friendly customer service.

I recently moved back to Dallas Fort Worth area and needed a place to store my stuff while I’m up here. The manager in the office I think his name was Trey did an outstanding job. The property is kept well and I have no qualms about my stuff being safe especially with all going on in the world right now.

Al, the associate manager is probably one of the RUDEST human beings I have ever met in my entire life. Every single time I’ve interacted with him, he has treated me as if I’m nothing more than an inconvenience. I will be looking for storage elsewhere and I suggest that everyone else does as well.
This location is convenient and well taken care of and I appreciate the staff always being willing to help as well. I also am thankful for the precautions being taken during the pandemic
The staff is always welcoming and i appreciate the safety measures they have put into place to help during the COVID 19 pandemic. I also like how much retail stock they have, never have to worry about supplies when needed.

Walked into the office to get prices on units for my son. The guys in the office were very accommodating and took time to answer all my questions. Even though we decided not to get storage for now this company really made a good impression and we will be back to rent in the future if the need arises.

My promotional price was never what it was supposed to be but I always paid it on time and never said anything. The first time I was late was when all this COVID-19 started. At first Trent didnt think he could do anything but he called me back and waived the late fee which I very much appreciate.

We moved our stuff into storage this past weekend and it was a very smooth experience. We realized after we had begun to move things in that the unit was too small and they let us switch to a bigger one and keep the same promotions we originally had. Rita was VERY nice and understanding. If we need a storage unit in the future, well definitely be back to Uncle Bobs!
Where do start well from the moment I walked in I felt so welcomed by Ms Rita a very friendly and upbeat person. She took the time to explain everything in detail to me. The facility is super clean and awesome prices! There was a day that I did not lock my storage unit correctly and i received a call from Ms Rita. That showed me they do not slack off on their duties and that they are checking units as they should.
This company is great! We were able to rent a unit and use their moving truck for a small fee to move our stuff. The climate control units are very clean and they have surveillance cameras! Their prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend storing here.

This facility has amazing staff that works with you every step of the way. Rita is an absolute treasure here. My only complaint is that our couches and chairs ended up molding extremely bad and were trash but that was after a year of being there so I understand. I would recommend this facility to everyone.
I was in desperate need since the hurricane. The lady at life storage 272 put me on a list and had a unit for me very quickly. The Alvin facility is so clean and helpful I would highly recommend them.
Rented here and originally reserved a 5x10 but when the Manager Trent showed me the space I knew it wouldn’t work so he got me into a bigger space. Very courteous and quick with the paperwork.

I made a reservation for a unit over a week in advance which included completing the agreement online. I needed to postpone my original check in day by three days so when I arrived I expected to pay and move in, easy, NOT! Check in took almost 30 minutes, some issue with my address not processing so the move in couldn’t be completed in the computer. Once that was fixed and I inspected the unit it was filthy, clearly had not been cleaned out, and there were spider webs throughout. I refused to put my stuff in the unit and returned to the office to ask the manager Al if the unit could be cleaned and sprayed for bugs. No problem he tells me. I return three days later and the unit was in the same condition. I went to the office to complain because it seemed unreasonable that the unit was still dirty and the same spiderwebs were still present. Al became very defensive and rude, raising his voice at me and blaming me because I checked in at 5:30 and they close at six. Let me remind you my reservation was made a week in advance, there was plenty of time to clean the unit, and spiderwebs of that magnitude do not appear overnight. His demeanor was hostile, Unprofessional, and undeserving of my business. I requested a refund and while he was processing my refund he was continually belligerent to me. I finally walked out never collecting the money that was owed to me. And he made no effort to process my return after the fact.

She is less than a year old, still in training. Before Iggy came into my life, I had another female Lab service animal that I named Gracie. I had Gracie for 13 soul thrilling years ♡ - the Love of my Life.I speak of this, because Rita also has her own canine friends at home, several of them. She loves them as I love mine, and she is an excellent care giver to them. Rita was so very warm to Gracie, and would visit her both in the office or she walked out to my car. Equally, Rita has welcomed Iggy. I would be amiss not to mention the friendly, quiet, kind hearted AL.The Life Storage office has always been helpful and considerate of my needs concerning storage. They red locked my unit one time when I forgot to pay the monthly rent due, and they were most apologetic for having done so when I went in to pay up. ) Ever since, Rita reminds me of my payment if I have not come into the office on schedule. Several times, I was out of State, and she helped me pay thru with a credit card. GOOD manager, and a friend too♡I have contracted storage with Life Storage for years now. I am very satisfied with the experience. Having dealt with storage businesses most of my adult life....Life Storage in Alvin is the best of the lot. hands down♡ I recently went to my unit, and the lock was fouled from not having been opened for too long a spell. Would not unlock with my key. AL issued me some 3in1 oil, and a claw hammer. No contest.....opened right up with just one whack!I wish to speak highly of Al&Rita, convey to you that they are warm helpful people. Your experience with Life Storage will be as good as mine has been, I am most confident of it to be so. Not many people these days will speak openly of their spiritual convictions....I have immensely enjoyed conversations with Rita of such. She is a light to this world.After such a long time now, I will be relenting my unit in a month or so. Adios to a good chapter in my life. Im moving to a larger living space, and have ample room for my things in storage. I will continue to stop by and visit my friends in the Office♡Shalom.
