I set a appointment for a diagnostic check which is $120. I gave a description of the problem hoping they would contact me with what’s wrong but they ended up fixing the problem and charging me 3 hours of labor without being told to. I was then told I needed to to pay them $330 before they would be able to give my car back. Through the process I was waiting for a text or even a link that explains the problem that they usually would send like previous work I’ve had done.
10/10 would recommend going to street volkswagen! pua crawford is an amazing sales person & probably one of the most genuine people i’ve ever met. we had a hell of a time trying to find the right car, but she was patient the entire time.
My son took his car in to have a diagnostic check. The service department called while he was at work, he couldn’t answer. My son called the next morning to get an update and was told they serviced his car without his authorization and couldn’t get it back unless he paid the $300 of labor. I don’t appreciate them taking advantage of my 17 year old son

Let me start off by saying I’m very critical of dealerships. But I was on a road trip with family when my 2018 Volkswagen Atlas had a water pump failure in Trinidad, CO on our way back to Fort Worth, TX. We had the vehicle towed to Street Volkswagen as it was on our route. The next day the car arrived at the dealership and Josh at the service counter went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of to continue our trip home. They were able to get us back on the road next day. This has been the absolute best experience I’ve ever had with any dealership, whether it be buying a car or getting service performed. I highly recommend Street Volkswagen. Fantastic service and friendly staff. I was unable to get the technicians name, but if you read this props to you too! Thank you everyone involved!

We initially wanted to ONLY test drive a Volkswagen and look for a better deal throughout the state. Three weeks later, we returned to test drive a Golf, and we were amazed with our salesman, John Griego. Not only did he offer us a test drive in a brand new Tiguan, but he offered other financing options which allowed me to give my wife exactly what she was wanting. When John said you dont have to look anywhere else, well give you the deal you need, he literally came through. I cant thank John and Shane (youtube star Leasing with Giese 😂) enough for all they did to provide my wife and I with an almost seamless process and friendly warm Volkswagen family welcome! Took my daughters car in for $950.00 headlight replacement, we were then told that the headlight module was too corroded to make connection. However, these connectors are made from gold, which does not corrode, especially within a few weeks time. They wanted $4,200, for the new module, plus labor. We picked the vehicle up, and replaced a 15 amp blown fuse....headlight is working perfectly!

Your service team is extraordinary - courteous, knowledgeable, extremely helpful and concerned! We had an unexpected car problem during our vacation travel and were fortunate to find this dealership on our way. The service department was busy but they helped us out. They took the time to contact our VW dealership in our home state to get more history on our cars service, spent the time to diagnose the problem, offered us water/snacks in their comfortable, air conditioned waiting area while they worked on our problem and kept us updated on their progress. We really thought wed have to cancel all our plans and spend the weekend in Amarillo to wait for a part and repair. Happily the service team was able to work out the problem and reset the computer diagnostic that was saying the car would not restart in 100 miles! We were good to travel and enjoy the rest of our planned vacation in Oklahoma . . . and all within 90 minutes of stopping in your service center! Your team is truly awesome and a lifesaver!! I’ve always used street Volkswagen ever since I got my car and have been pleased with their service, but I am now extremely disappointed in their service team. I picked my car after a routine service on it and halfway home noticed a big scratch and several evenly spaced cuts on the top of my steering wheel. I call them to let them know and they said they would get back to me. They call me back and explained they saw nothing on their cameras and none of their guys claimed anything happened and that there is nothing they could do. (Of course something that happens IN the car won’t be seen on camera) they kept insisting it was not their doing even though I told them for a fact I had no cuts or anything like that on my steering wheel prior to dropping it off.All that to say, it would have been nice to have them at the very least acknowledge that it could have been them even if there wasn’t “proof”. Instead, made me feel like I was making it up and that it “magically” appeared there. I don’t think I will be able to trust them with my car again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER SO UNPROFESSIONAL!! We drive 15 hours from MN to purchase a 2012 GMC SAVANA AWD which we were told by sales rep named COLE the Van was in excellent condition the ONLY thing wrong was a dent a door and a seam was ripped. We told them we would arrive at 4 and the sales rep was gone he had a family emergency. Instead we were greeted by a different sales rep who let us test drive the van. My husband is a mechanic so we took it for a test drive and the truck was pulling to the side and was shaking we asked the sales rep if we could talk to the person in charge and we were greeted by John (owner) We tried to explain that the vehicle was not in the condition we were told and asked if he could negotiate the price a bit instead he laughed and said NO it was a great van and hes neighbors took very well care of it. We explained the tires needed to he replaced before our way back, the windshield was cracked, the seat didnt recline running board board was cracked the rear stereo didnt work nor did the back up camera and the window curtains were missing... instead he said what did we expect for a 10 year old van well... for 29,000 we did expect a bit more he didnt even care what we had to say .. we drove with our little girls and not one single apology was said he instead said he would post it back up because he had more ppl intrested... ....these ppl are money hungry they dont even care what you have to say.. please look else where for business not even honest and dont have no respect we couldnt do business with a place like this!!

I bought my Golf here and it was one of the BEST car buying experiences Ive had. I usually get a salesman who ignores me but talks to my husband instead (very annoying). Here, the salesman not only communicated with me but also listened to what I wanted. Also, instead of telling me what I didnt want or what HE thought I should want, he actually showed me cars that me my needs AND were in the price range I specified. In the end, I drove away with a car I loved and a price I could afford. GREAT job Street VW team.

Let me start by saying that John Lucianos entire staff at Street Volkswagen absolutely made my husband and I feel like family. On a recent trek from Oregon to Florida, we found ourselves stranded outside of Amarillo, TX. Immediately to us it was obvious that this dealership truly cares about VW owners, and we are not even their customers either. That didnt matter though or the fact that it was a major holiday(Memorial Day weekend). They truly sympathized with our situation and made us feel like priority #1. Without even asking, they set my husband up in a loaner car and made many suggestions as to what to see and the best eateries. After our 2 day diversion, we really felt thankful to have had the experience provided us. Lifes an adventure, some times unexpected but the obvious fact that this VW crew is like a big happy family who took us into their home, memorable. Look somewhere else to purchase a vehicle. We bought a Jeep from here. We agreed to purchase on 28th of May after agreeing they would repair a couple of items. Finally got it after multiple excuses on the 15th of June. Had to take it back to finish repairs and get detailed on the 18th with a 9 A.M. appointment. When went to pick it up, it was still not ready mind you it was just front and rear breaks couple hour job. Also still had not been cleaned. Also know have to take it back yet again due to some of the parts installed for the repair have a recall. The only good thing about this dealer ship was our sales man. Update the vehicle has already completely quite running in less than 100 miles. I would stay away from street at all cost. I guess when they say there service went thru it means they change the oil that’s is all.

I really tend to dislike dealerships because it seems like, when it comes to car repairs, they charge you considerably more than what a good local mechanic would. And I am starting to regret owning a Volkswagen for the following reason: They tend to be much more difficult when comes down to diagnosing a problem, especially those that are electrical in nature. Because of this it is becoming increasingly difficult to find mechanics that can (or are willing to) work on them. I live in Jacksonville, AL and the closest VW dealership is 81 miles away in Birmingham, AL. Not really ideal for when you have a recall or have a problem that the local mechanics cannot or do not want to deal with.However, this is a positive review! If I could give these guys at Street VW 10 stars, I would. In fact, lets give them 100 stars!While traveling from Colorado to Alabama on 1 July with wife and dog, and temperatures in the the 90s, my VW Tiguan started running real rough (check engine light/EPC lights on, etc.). This happened in Claude, TX. There, a local mechanic was able to diagnose that it was 1 cylinder misfiring. Since he could not fix it there, he recommended I turn around and go to this dealership in Amarillo, which I did.I got there at 4 pm. I explained the situation to the Asst. Service Manager, Javan Anderson. Despite it being this late in the day (and having no appointment), Javan was able to get my car looked at. They allowed us to wait inside the dealership with our dog. They were able to diagnose the problem (one of the ignition coils had gone bad) and get it fixed - at a very reasonable price. They did not try and take advantage of our predicament. The car was ready at 6 pm.Now comes the kicker, as we drove off, about 1 mile down the road we discovered that the A/C was now not working. I turned around and went back to the dealership and talked to Javan. I explained to him that there had never been a problem with the A/C on this car before and thought that maybe somehow some electrical connector was perhaps undone or maybe a fuse blown. Instead of telling me there was nothing that could be done this late in the day, they called their master mechanic (who had already left for the day) back into the dealership to look at the car. He came back in and started doing all kinds of diagnostics and test drives with the car. It turns out that somehow, the computer had lost part of its programming during the process of changing out the ignition coil which prevented the A/C from operating and even gave out erroneous signals like low tire pressure lights. It took some time to find the problem, but once he had, he reprogrammed the computer and everything ran flawless. We left the dealership after 8 pm that evening. We made remaining 1000 miles back to Alabama without any problems!I do not know the mechanics name, but I do want to personally thank him for his dedication and hard work. He came back after his shift was done and was fixated on finding the problem. I briefly talked with him and he told me that he had never run across such a problem before. He treated the problem as if it were his sole mission in life to get it resolved properly.I have nothing but respect for him (again, I wish I had made it a point to remember his name), and wish to thank him for taking care of us in that manner that he did. The same also goes for Javan, who coordinated this all.Even though I may be a bit critical of owning a new VW because of their complexity, that should not take away from the fact that this is a dealership with awesome staff, EXCELLENT MECHANICS, and a willingness to go to the highest level when it comes to service.Thank you all again for the help you gave us that day!

Service Advisor, Dorian Green deserves recognition. My vehicle had numerous issues and Dorian was exceptional. I was very unhappy with my situation but Dorian truly made my troublesome car problems a painless experience. He is a rare find. How often can you go to get your car repaired and be so overwhelmed by the incredible service you have received that it overshadows the enormous bill you are facing? I cannot say enough about the service this young man provides. I believe this dealership needs to do whatever it takes to hold on to such a gem as Dorian Green.

Definitely a shady place for service on you car. Have taken our car there many times and each time it comes out in worse shape. The latest go around, broken windshield, rock chips on the hood, and dented under frame from the lift. While they did fix all the issues, they said the will not longer fix any damages that they cause to our car! That is not responsibility in my mind. Oh and Street VW is not owned by Joe Street. John whatever his name his bought it. That might be a big reason it has gone done hill. Lessoned learn, we won’t be back.

I took my 2015 VW TIGUAN in for a oil change /tire rotation + set of wipers..when I got my car back new oil change but oil change not reset on car computer it still reads needing oil change.tires not rotated as I marked them left to right 1234.tires still in same order got new cabin filter which I did not order but glad to have paid for it but NO NEW WIPER BLADES so this was a TOTALLY FAILURE. Most likely I will go get my wipers I paid for but did not get put on and start going elsewhere from now on
Stayed overnight in Amarillo wow on my way to Colorado. My diesel Jetta froze And the diesel gelled Not run. I had it towed to the dealership Colby put it in there is heated shop and charge the battery overnight. Even gave me a ride to and from the motel. Handed me my keys in the morning and I was on my way again. Thanks again everyone at Street Volkswagen in Amarillo Texas

Thank you Ozzy for your outstanding help purchasing my Jetta Sportwagen TDI. I came in from out of state and Ozzy was on stand by to help as I arrived. We test drove a few TDIs in stock and once I settled on one we discussed a few numbers and settled things. It was a busy Saturday so it took a while to get through the line with the Financing Dept but that was to be expected. Ozzy also took time out of his schedule to follow me over to the airport so I could drop off my rental car. When I came back, Joel in Financing went through the paperwork and I met with Julio to go over the specifics of the cruise control, MFI, and audio system. Thank you Ozzy, Joel and Julio for your professionalism and courtesy.
I took my car because the window regulator was not working, also a right break light changed, It came back with a scratched up window and a broken window switch, the right break light light was still lighted up on the dashboard. I took it back for a convertible latch and an oil change, the service now light was still on and the convertible had literally a string hanging from a the side they had fixed... they said my right break light light was on because something was wrong with my brakes, they needed to check on them.....after this I told them DO NOT touch my brakes, fix my window switch and my string, and you wont see my face again.... After this, they told me the window switch is on me, the string as well and that I needed to change my brake fluid and my brake pads .... 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️. Nobody makes sense and nobody know what to do...
This place is really, really great. The service team is friendly, attentive, and informative and the waiting area has fantastic snacks and drinks to munch on while you wait. I was even lucky enough to be there today when they brought in Weinerschnitzel hotdogs, chili dogs, and corn dogs for all the folks who were waiting to enjoy. Joel was nice and honest. I walked up the car and he let me drive it! That’s how simple it had happened.. I wish they would have been more honest when it came to running my credit and telling me they can possibly give me a better interest rate once they did so. Example, they told me that they could give me an interest rate of 4.9% (not accurate but it’ll get the point across) and could possibly do better if they ran my credit and it was a better score than I had told them. Nope, it didn’t budge and I have EXCELLENT credit. I didn’t notice until it was too late and I was signing papers. I’ll be refinancing in a few months just to get out from under that but that’s a bit ridiculous, they should have been a little more honest about it..

Bought a CPO car, site unseen and was a bit disappointed with the process. Took a full 2 days to finish price negotiations because the finance guy was slammed, expected to get paperwork via Docusign but they insisted on live signatures via FedEx overnight which added another day to the process. This could have been smother. Ive bought many cars in cash or with my own financing, its usually a 20-60 minute process and this was 3 days but we got it done.Once the car arrived, I immediately noticed its lacking floor mats, a spare tire (Standard on this car), has an extra set of tire tools from some other VW (Fortunately original set was in its compartment) and the 2nd time I drove it showed the oil overfilled. Easy fix, but it was nearly a quart over full.All in the car is great, just a lot more hassle than I expected.

I bought a brand new 2020 atlas cross sport at the end of May this year. After I bought it I noticed rust color flakes in my gray car paint, on my black rims, on my windows and everything in between. I called the service and brought my car up to VW and had them look at it. They gave me the explanation that it happened when my car was on the train in the process of being brought to VW, and the sides of the train car were not enclosed, and it somehow got all over my car even the top. Im guessing they dont inspect cars before they sell them. I should have better as well, but a brand new car that isnt in brand new condition should never be sold. They told me they would fix it. I called and called waiting for an appointment finally months later we got it in. They took it to a shop on Soncy I was told. They had it for several days. They called me yesterday to come get it. I went up to VW, and obviously inspected every inch of it this time as I should after what happened, and on my two back windows there are deep scratches in the actual window that were not there before, light scratches on my two front windows that were not there before, and about 10 small rock chips in my windshield that were not there before. They would know that because a few days prior to dropping it off with them they fixed the one rock chip I had, and sealed it. The service guy I have been dealing with said he didnt even look at my windows which should have been inspected as they were getting fixed too at the shop from the rust flakes on them, but instead I would almost say I got my car back in worse condition than I left it!!!! My brand new car!!!!! So disheartening that the customer service is lacking so much. I was told that we would see about ordering new windows, but we will see isnt a guarantee that they will fix what needs to made right on my car that got messed up while in their care. Hopefully it does get made right, but even if so thats probably months until it would get fixed, and then that much longer to install new windows since that is what I was informed would have to happen. So disappointed. Wouldnt recommend doing business with them.

Purchased and traded a vehicle from Street VW approx. 2 months ago and it been the worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. The processes at this dealership are broken or nonexistent. It spans from sales through finance and service. In terms of sales it feels like a slimy used car lot. Won’t dive into that one. Finance ensured me that that my rebate check would be 2 or 3 days to process. I gave them ample opportunity to consider this “promise” during our discussion and I was reassured several times. 45 days later my check arrives for the incorrect amount by several thousand dollars. My first service at Street VW was laughable. It’s a long story but I will gladly drive to Lubbock anytime my car needs service. This dealership clearly has no processes in place and it’s a roll of the dice if you decide to do business with them. I understand the negative impact that a bad review may have on a business and it’s employees and would only dedicate my time to writing a bad review if I knew it would save future customers the hardship and frustration. Street VW please improve your business.
One of the salesman promised me a car, I had an appointment to go check it out and everything and then he tells me it’s sold. Show no sense of integrity. This has happened to me on multiple occasions from this dealership. I’ve purchased a car from here before. Most likely will never shop here again.

I have had a pleasant experience every time I have been to Street Volkswagen of Amarillo. Our family has purchased multiple vehicles from here. When I purchased the vehicle I am currently using, it was a smooth process. They listened to my needs and didnt try to push me into purchasing a vehicle. Today, I went to get my oil changed. They were really busy but still got me out fairly quickly. The young man who helped me, informed me of all the regular maintenance things I need to get done soon. Luckily, I have the Care Plus package so many things, like my oil change will be covered. Great service! I highly recommend.

Really fast and great service, everyone inside was kind asked whether or not youd like coffee or water. After i explained another issue with the car i wanted looked at, the employee popped the hood right then and there and explained it easy. Fantastic team.
I used the website to set up my service appointment. When I arrived they were quick to get my car serviced and kept me updated with what they were doing the entire time. The staff was friendly and helpful and gave excellent service.
Last Friday, my fiance and myself were traveling through Amarillo when we had a blow out. We had everything we needed to change the tire, but the key for the locking lug nut. Not one place we called had the key, but this dealership. We used our roadside assistance to tow our 2010 GTI here. When we were on our way, I called ahead and spoke to Andrew. He was the one we sought out when we got there and he did not disappoint! Not only did he stop what he was doing and help out, he went and got the head service person, Connor, to help. Connor stopped what he was doing just to change our tire. He then went and changed the other locking lug nuts so we would never run into this trouble again. We also had our year old dog with us. Andrew and Connor neither one had a problem with him and we were even told that we could bring him inside! These 2 gentlemen went above and beyond to help us and get us back on the road. They deserve a massive raise! We have never been treated this awesome from anywhere else!!! When we trade our vehicle in, we will definitely make the trek back to these wonderful people.
James was simply awesome took great care of the transition and also made sure that I was aware of everything I needed to know. The service was simply exceptional. I got the VIP treatment for just being a regular customer off the street. I highly recommend this company.
