I needed grommet tape and went into the store. I have never purchased anything by the yard before. I had questions, waited in the area where the sewing machines are, walked around a bit looking for an employee. I eventually went to the cashier. As I was putting my items on the counter and telling the cashier that I had questions, she interrupted me and told me I had to go back to the cut counter that she couldnt help me. I was so put off by her abruptness that I only purchased two items which didnt need to be measured and began to leave. I could hear the cashier and the woman in line behind me talking about me as I left. Not once while in the store was I asked if I needed assistance or if I was finding everything alright, etc. I want to learn to sew using a machine instead of by hand. I had questions and was met with rudeness. If my money isnt good at Joanns then Ill go somewhere else in future.

Just got back from this store. Halloween clearance.So RUDE. The manager checked us out and I told her there wasnt a tag on what I wanted and she asked where I got it from and I said over on that wall over there. And she rudely stopped and looked at me and said I need to know the exact spot to know if theres no tag ......OK and Im telling you where to go instead of you searching for it! You asked and I told you! Seriously? Jesus.

I have found the employees to be very helpful and pleasant, even more so after I got to know them and they got to know me as a regular. I even took some of my projects in to show them how they turned out. I go to Jo-Anns so often in various cities that I probably know the merchandise as well as the clerks and better than the newer ones. They cant always find what Im looking for but sometimes I can find it the next time Im in the store and then I let them know where it is without making them feel bad. This is a pretty big store with a lot of merchandise. I go to all three of The Big Box craft stores but this one is probably the one I go to most often. They have great coupons and you can use more than one in a trip. Sometimes the coupons are up to 50 to 60% off which is a pretty big savings if youre buying a higher-priced item. So if I see something thats more than I want to pay I just wait till I get a coupon on my phone and go in to buy it. Theyve got a huge selection of fabrics and a great selection of Yarns and a pretty good selection of paper crafting products. Ill include photos of things Ive made using fabric and yarn I bought from Jo-Anns.

This store is a crafters dream! Fabrics, glues, beads, cookie or cake decorating, you name it they have it! If you cant get out, order home delivery! It is fast and simple with quality products.

The store manager was very helpful. I was looking for some patriotic ribbons to make to wear.

It is a nice place for someone who likes to sew.

Just your basic arts and crafts store. Nothing extraordinary here. I was sad to see that as they were suggested online to be THE place to go for stuff you couldnt find elsewhere like out of season decorations and crafts but nope. Customer service was poor. I never even saw anyone except the cashier.

Limited selection of print paper. More solid colors than anything else. Looking for 8.5x11, in variety of prints. Too much of it was whimsical. Need more classical, serious subject matter.

They have a good selection of stuff they dont have quite as much stuff as what Michaels has though and theyre a little on the pricey side

The Amarillo store hours are 11-5, the lines for fabric were too long, 45 minutes then at the Cast register we wait again. And last Saturday the store is closed one day. We need another fabric store in town, private quilt stores also have limited days open

Good service and selections as always. Not a single employee had a mask, but they gave me extra fabric at the end of the bolt in case I was making masks. Masks are a kindness and courtesy to others and their wellbeing—NOT a political statement. Please listen to our mayor and to the scientists. Be safe and be well. ❤️

Went in to buy some cricut vinyls and I was not sure which ones were on sale. The workers were nice and helped me get the right ones. Our cashier was friendly as well.

I was really bothered by the attitude that Joice and Stephanie gave off while I was checking out. The atmosphere in that store is so unwelcoming. Very disappointed with that. I recommend shopping local or going else where, were your business is appreciated ☺️

The store us laid out very well and it is easy to find everything. The unfortunate thing is that the Halloween section (which is what I went in for) was filled with mostly broken or otherwise damaged items. It was rather disappointing. There was also a massive amount of mosquitos in the store. As someone who is allergic, I wish their double door entrance actually did some good with that.

Every time I go Im happy with the store. I love all the coupons I get to use. They have a huge selection of fabric and I always find something I need or want.

The way they were talking to/about customers today was just so unnecessary. I heard one employee tell a pick-up order that they didnt have all of something they ordered, but they were lucky they got any. I was also made to feel like I was lying about the measurement of a piece of trim that, for whatever reason, the woman who measured it didnt give me a tag for. I work in food service where we still have to deal with people, so understand the stress, but its not really an excuse to treat people this way.

An awesome experience as always. Staff were nice and attentive and when it was time to get the f out they as nicely as they could told us to get the f out . Definitely enjoy Joanns!

The managers at this place are truly unhelpful and rude. They change policies based on their own whims, and I once had a manager blame me because his register kept freezing. When I asked if someone else could check me out he said, “FINE!” and told another employee, “You can deal with her!” This same manager refused to let me use a coupon after I had shared their 40% off electronic with another customer. I had done this same thing before; thought I was being nice and the employees were always happy to do it. This time the manager wouldn’t let me use the coupon on my own purchase afterwards. I contacted Joann’s to clarify the policy, since I’d shared the standard, same old 40% off coupon with someone just a few days before, and I’d had others do the same thing for me. It’s honestly the same coupon anyone can get from the website, but it’s really hard for some people to pull theirs up since there’s no service inside the store. I was told “It’s at the manager’s discretion on a case-by-case basis.“ So the manger could turn down my coupon just because he doesn’t like me — it was the same manager from before, the one whose register kept freezing. Sigh. 🙄 In addition, be careful. The price tags and signs are often incorrect, and the bathrooms are frequently dirty. The clearance aisle is a disaster, and items are almost always tossed about in strange places in other aisles, too. Mind you, there are some really good employees who are not the managers, and I enjoy talking to them and they help a lot. But it’s as if the store leadership is TRYING to alienate good customers. My suggestion is to go to Hobby Lobby or Michael’s if you can at all. I’ve never had any of these experiences there.

There were a fair share of crafts and fabrics. But during my visit, upon walking in all i could smell was co2 gas. I was in the store maybe 20 minutes and had to leave because it was giving me a headache.

They always have good sales and coupons. Sometimes I find so much on clearance I dont have anything I can use my coupon on! Since I mostly knit and crochet and buy fleece to make items that I donate to Charities and hospitals, Im happy to save money wherever I can. The clerks are very nice also.

So disappointed in how my online order was bagged. I ordered 67 strands of beads(I counted them)Metal, Glass and Ceramic they were double bagged all thrown in. It took me awhile to untangle them. Several beads were chipped. I called the store this evening, spoke to Mandy(manager) she seemed put off that I had bothered her. Also mentioned that this is how they would have been bagged at the register had I come in. I’ve been shopping at Joann’s for a least 8 years. I must tell you had this been common practice on how merchandise is handled I would go else where. Mandy hesitated, and said for me to go get replacement beads. But that’s all she can do. At the beginning of the conversation I mentioned that I was not angry, just wanted to let her know about my disappointment.Sincerely, Oma Zimmerman

They cancelled my in store order on brand new The Happy Planner 2020 Planners I had just purchased from their website that day as they showed them in stock. It charged my account. Clerk said that these planners were replaced with new planners. I said I ordered the new planners Their website said they had a number of them in store. The clerk said they were moving the Rongong collection and that she didnt know where they were, but they did have them there today. I said I placed online order at noon, its now, 8:40pm, where is my order and who cancelled my order if they were there in store? She said the assistant manager did. The clerk said they could order, but it would take, 2 weeks to get them. I told her no. This store is notorious for not checking their online orders. Its not the first time my online order wasnt ready for in store pivkup. Its happened on my last 2 orders. They probably didnt pull my order placed and sold the others in store. This store is totally irresponsible..

JOANNS IS AMAZING! The coupons on the app are awesome and you can use more than 1 at once so I just go crazy in there! They have a great selection, the store is really clean and the staff is really nice and helpful. Love it!

Its an older looking store. Alot of damaged products. Bathroom was gross. Markdowns and sales werent worth the drive this time.

Anything arts and crafts is here. And if youre into quilting, nowhere beats the selection of materials.

If you cant find supplies for your hobby/craft, you havent asked their wonderful staff for assitance (they may have moved items due to seasonal promos, who knows?). This place is cheaper than Wal-Mart on most selections, too. Their website states that most people shop for 30 min (now thats quite a quick trip). If Im not in a hurry, I could browse for hours!

Expensive. I went looking for a particular product. They were $5.99 each. I can get 4 for the same price with free shipping online.

As a man, I find this store rather boring, but my wife loves it! I love the fact that they are always running sales, so the stops here are not too hard on my pocket book.

The store is great but NEVER order material yardage online because they will send segments instead of full yardage I ordered 300.00 of 3 yard pieces and received 2 yards and 1 yard, etc, if I wanted to piece I would have ordered it that way! After ordering and was well enough to go to store found out could order from local store online. Will buy from store but not online, reported and they didnt care.
