I called about some inserts for a curio cabinet and told them what size I needed and paid for them on the phone using my debit card. When I got there it was the wrong size. I got a refund on my card and went to another place to buy them.

Read online about them having chains and accessories. While they did it was not that large, thus to be boasting about it seemed a little inaccurate. Good place still.

One of the employees refused to acknowledge me and my female companion, seemingly forming the opinion that women shouldnt be in a hardware store. Everyone else was nice.

I knew I would need extra help, so I decided on Ace over a bigger named store. I was right to do so, because the staff was amazing and helpful. Kurt not only helped me find everything I needed he also helped cut some tember for me because I dont have power tools. Amazing place, will definitely be going here from now on.

They have just about anything you want

Its not going to have all the stuff that the bigger box stores have, but they pretty much have everything you need for the smaller jobs around the house. What they lack in stock they make up for in a friendly help and service. That small hardware store feel is always a welcome change from wondering around for hours looking for what it is you need in the big stores. Keep it up Ace!

CURTIS WAS GREAT! When I went to pick up, his manager was very rude to me! He said I got Curtis in trouble because Curtis had given me a Veteran discount and the $50 was coming out of Curtis check! I wrote Curtis a check for $50. MANAGER WAS SO RUDE!!!!!

Friendly staff, good selection, and usually some good sale items. Carries yeti, big green egg, Weber, craftsman, and other great brands. Ace brands also offer good value. If I do not need lumber, I prefer to visit it over the mega chains.

Ace really is the helpful hardware place, and is a comfortable environment to go shopping in and ask questions. If you want advice on something Ace is way better than the big box home improvement stores. They may be smaller than those stores but they have most everything you need, and there is almost always someone to help you as soon as you walk in, but they dont harp if you dont need their help. A great neighborhood place to get what you need for your home easily and priced well.

Nicely stocked DIY hardware store. Not as much inventory as some of the big box stores, but a surprising selection of higher end Charcoal Barbeque and outdoor living items.

These guys are always helpful. They go above and beyond to make the experience pleasant and easy.

I went in today (11-5-16 5:00 pm) to do a simple return with receipt. The guy at the register (lets call him angry middle-aged white guy, which is how he came across) gave me some kind of song and dance about not doing it. It kind of caught me off guard, and in an attempt to keep my temper, I left with product in hand. You can shop here if you want, but truthfully the prices are 15-20 percent higher than at the chain stores or at Sutherlands. This is a last resort for me, and I really dont need to worry with angry middle-aged white guy...for any reason, really.

This store is closed, has been for several months now. Theres no ACE Hdwe in Amarillo any longer, unless one has been opened recently.The ACE in Canyon isnt a company store, it wont have any corporate sales items.

They ordered some herbicide for me and called to say it was in and on the day promised.
