Wont be there ever again.My experience was intolerable and the employee was probably not even disciplined. I have been in retail for a great deal of my working life and I have never been insulted by an employee like that before.Karma...to you and no you were not RESPECTED...your position was but, NOT YOU.

Great cashiers, friendly and personable just need more cashiers. It takes longer to check out than fill up the cart.

Nice big store, plenty of room in the aisles. The parking lot is a little tough to navigate. Its on a very busy corner. It is well marked though and traffic patterns are thoughtfully established.

The food is very good. I havent ever been disappointed, nor has anyone in our party. If the weather is good you have three choices on where to eat. You can eat in the restaurant, in the covered patio, or out with the view of the river. This is a very good restaurant.

Safeways wonderful they have the best cakes their pastry chefs are truly artists.

Seems like this Safeway picks and chooses which customers to be courteous to. Rude employees, I needed help and was told I had to wait til the person tht could help me was off break!!!!!??? Uhhhh...so my time isnt important??? Seems like alot of the staff here need to be re-trained on Customer Service! The Hispanic, short haired lady needs a attitude adjustment Pronto! She may wanna fix tht rude exterior of hers! Despise going there and seeing her rude, face!

Ordered online and when I went to pick up groceries, waited 30 minutes in the car after notifying staff I was there. When I called to check status, a staff member told me all staff had left for the day....I watched her bring out groceries 10 mins prior. When I mentioned I just saw her, she got an attitude and thought she hung up the phone...I heard her complain about me to another co worker. This was the worst customer service ever! Left my number for management to call ( of course the manager was on break when I went in ). Online ordering not easy or service oriented.

Good quality, but prices are definitely too high.

I have been a regular since moving here, but ever since they cranked up the volume of the beep on their service desk calls, I have to wear earplugs. I still come because of the convenient location within walking distance of home, but the need for earplugs is not convenient.

My Local safeway since I was very small, Always well stocked, friendly staff, they always do an amazing job. Never disappointed and they even have quite a few vegan options.

4 stars as always. 6 would be perfection, but no grocery store is yet at that level.

I remember I used to play in the field before they opened this Safeway in the same field that its built on so I was a little unweary about having one but its always been one of my favorite stores in this town and I love this place very much and it will always hold a place in my heart. Shout out to Frank whos been there since it opened it was my old neighbor.

I shop here on Fridays. Other days I go to FoodMaxx to maximize my shopping power.

Customer service is all in the safe crew, engagement is very helpful Ms Elizabeth, Michelle t,Jill, Afton, always rise to the top shanon,rob make awesome sandwiches!The gentleman who orders my Epson s and makes sure its stocked is cool and helpful Naveah is helpful as a courtesy clerk, Anna are awesome!

As with all Safeways you definitely need to have one of their cards and shop the sales, otherwise its too expensive. However the other side of the coin is good friendly service, and wonderful produce, bakery and meat departments.Biggest drawback is that you have to buy liquor and personal items in their own section. So you need to check out TWICE if you want a bottle of wine with dinner. So annoying that I wont be going back.

Since the store chain was bought out, it has lost its neighborhood feel. Used to know and have friends whenever we shopped..now lucky to find a familiar face day to day. Nice to have some from time to time that have been around for years,vs days or weeks Iintermittently. Pharmacy is great...they do care and remember you. Most checkers are friendly and efficient, nice to chat with, but too often some just the opposite. Prices are good, though have gone up like everywhere...using card and coupons is worthwhile. Seem to be phasing out many familiar items, but still best place in town. I did give a 4..as most employees are friendly and attentive.

I avoided Safeway for years, favoring the cheaper prices at walmart... HOWEVER, recently I find myself at Safeway atleast twice a week. The weekly sales make it affordable, and the store is clean and well stocked. Navigating the store is far easier and the deli section always covers me when I cant think of something to make for dinner. The discounts on gas make up for the slightly higher prices. (50¢ off per gal on my last fill-up). Its a good store that always has what I need in stock.

Better selection. Good staff that responds to questions quickly. Still needs better fish offering. Bakery could us improvement. Asian food aisle a bit low on stock. Good organic vegetable selection.

Purchased a bouquet of White Rose & Lily spray white for a funeral $35. Floral cashier/Heidi didnt even wrap the flowers. The roses were damp at the stems, I had to request clear wrap for them. Wrapping the flowers was not an automatic procedure.

Very busy and only two lanes open. Reminded me of walmart

Very clean store. Its a little hard to maneuver in these times of covid, as they are still packing space with product. I think they could clear a few things out to make it easier to shop around people standing in line. I have no issues standing in line. Patience is needed in these times. It was a good 20-30 minute wait in line and we only had 5 people ahead. The employees were working extremely hard and as quickly as humanly possible. We had questions for the butcher and both gentlemen were very polite & cordial as well as informative. If you want meat cut a certain way they still continue this process, but only for meat that has not been put out yet. So if you need butcher services and they have the cut in back, they will do it! Yay! Its a nice Safeway. OH! They are having a sale on tri tip!

Safeway is a household grocery store with everything you need,but compared to a few other grocery stores, theyre a little pricey. This particular one in American Canyon is closest to home,and it has a mellower vibe compared to the one in admiral Callaghan Lane.

They almost always have what i need, but since they reorganized the place its hard to find stuff again, specially since they have the drinks selection in like 3 diferent spots, where the bakery is they have the water and sport drinks and in the middle of the store they got the energy drinks, soft drinks, they should have kept them all close to each other, i spent like 30 minutes looking for the body armor drinks that my wife likes till they told me they were at the end of the store about 8 ailes away. Other than that i always like going to safe way because its a faster trip and you dont have to stand in line to get in

Produce department not stocked well......missing many sale items, no one around to ask! I guess Tumms are a dangerous item could not add to my grocery order, I would have to make separate transaction in the Tumms department ..... Very user unfriendly ! Will not show there again!

This is my favorite location to shop at. The employees are amazing, patient and friendly. Their management on the floor is awesome always checking to see if they can help out. There are some employees not so great but thats anywhere.I also enjoy getting my gas here and thats saying alot since Costco has always been my to go gas station. I usually save about 20 cents a gallon which makes a big difference. I earn points for shopping which turn into rewards for saving on gas.
