Back in my day, I had a flat tire and my homies lug wrench didnt fit the bolts on my whip, so we hit up the ole auto zone and they got me that wrench quick as the snickens!! 10 outta 9 would recommend!

Place was alright. I’m by no means a car guy. I’ve been learning a lot but have questions. My car was having some difficulty with the battery. Car wouldn’t start. If I pushed on the positive terminal, the car turned on. I wasn’t sure if I had bad cables or just bad terminal clamps. I went in and asked for help, I was directed to isle 11. I said, “ok I just don’t really know what I’m looking for.” Again, directed to isle 11. After looking for a while, I decided I didn’t know enough about what types of cable to replace so I just bought new terminal clamps. So far, no issues with my car. I would have liked to replace the cables but I got no help with it. I’ll have to read more online.

Absolutely infuriated at the treatment a customer ahead of me received by one of the staff at this store! From the purely ignorant and rude tone of voice staggered with impatience at her, (what to him seemed to be, lax pace in finishing her shopping) to the very unprofessional and insulting comments spoken to me upon her exit from the store....to make matters worse, when commenting that the customer was actually my friend and that he was out of bounds and I wanted his managers name, another employee I hadnt seen before now, spoke up to ask which manager....I told them I wanted the g.m and she asked why so I recounted the events and included the young man all but shoving her change into her abdomen, and the insults following her transaction....I was denied the name of the manager....this is unacceptable in so many forms! My friend is NOT going to be returning for anything with that type of staff on payroll. Not good guys!!

Tried to get a battery for my motorcycle. They didn’t seem to have a way to look up which battery my motorcycle required. They sold me the only model they had that was the same size. Turns out it didn’t have enough amperage to start the bike. When I tried to return it they made me swap it out for another identical battery to make sure the battery wasn’t bad. It didn’t work either. I eventually got my money back but it required 3 10 mile trips and a lot of time and I still need a battery. The people were very nice however.

Great service! Went in to find a head light bulb for my old Mazda. Not only did they find the bulb quickly, but they helped me install it right there and then outside while it was snowing hard. Will definitely go there with any my needs from now on

It’s amazing how much of an impact good customer service can have.I know almost nothing about cars and came here to get a new battery. Not only did the staff help me jump a few holes and find a great price, but they also went the extra mile in installation. I went outside to install the battery with tools they had lent me and there I saw the store manager, Jeff, who was on a break. Quickly noticing I had no idea what I was doing, he proceeded to walk me through the entire process, educate me on my car, and help install the battery in 5 min (fixing some things that would have taken me 3 hours). He never asked for anything in return, just said he was glad to help (and all this while he was on his own break!) I left auto zone with all my problems fixed for a great price.I have nothing to say but positive things to say about Jeff and the rest of the staff here. They are committed to helping you, not trying to cheat you in anyway, and they want to take off stress for people like me who don’t know much about cars. Thank you for a great customer experience!!

Jeff was awesome! I havent been here in a while, but the customer service has gotten a lot better since the last bad review I gave. Jeff is a superhero! He helped us a ton, he answered all of the questions we had and taught us what to do if the problem happened to our car again. He changed the battery, gave us a discount on the new one, and was super fast and extremely friendly! Good Job Auto Zone.

I rolled in to the store at approximately 9:50 PM in need of a new battery from my truck and realizing that a replacement 10 mins prior to closing was going to be tough. Jessica assisted me and the way she acted it may as well have been the beginning of her shift. She was pleasant, knowledgeable and very accomodating. When I finished paying it was past 9:55 PM but I took a chance and asked to borrow their tools so I could replace it and return the core all in one visit. I would have totally understood if she would have politely said no we are closing, but she didnt. I got the tools and went out just as the light were shutting down making it a bit more difficult to change the battery. Alex, another employee then came out and asked if he could help and immediately did so by getting the lights back on. He then came out and was right in the thick of the exchange with me. Because of his help, btw he acted like there was zero rush and told me at least 2x to not apologize, I got it changed out just prior to 10:10PM. Employees like Jessica and Alex are invaluable and will bring me back to this AutoZone over and over. Thank you so much for all the help!

Went into Autozone last night due to a dead battery. I already knew which battery I planned to buy to replace it, but the guy who helped me said that the battery was probably still under warranty since it was manufactured in 2018. He told me he’d be happy to sell me one, but that it might be worth checking with Napa to see first. I was very happy that he was looking out for me, the customer, even though it meant I might not buy the battery there. In the end, I saved about $110+ since there was still a partial warranty. Based on this experience alone, I will always go to this Autozone for any of my automotive needs!

I stopped in about two months ago to have a check engine light code read. I walked into the store and was greeted right away, which was good, but as soon as I stepped out of the door, and was asked which car was mine, it turned for the worst! The young man asks me which car and when I replied which one it was, he Laughed and said, Thats the problem, it a _______(fill in the make and model of my car). I love this car BTW, and it was not because of the Make or Model, but that being said, he has the right to have his own opinion, but should keep it to himself!! I unlock the car and as he gets into my vehicle he says how much he hates the bucket seats that come in my car. He then says, why did you get a manual transmission? He thought that they didnt come in a manual. I said, Im pretty sure that a lot of them come with a manual. FYI: They only come in a manual, but I was trying to not insult his vast 20 years of life knowledge as he was about 20 years old. I wanted to cover for him slamming the make and model of my car, and keep a little dignity, so I explained that the car itself was fine, but it had a larger turbo on it and was working on figuring out what it needed and how to fix it. He then said, Why would you do stuff to it that would cause it problems? As if I did this on purpose!! I was done at this point! When we walked to the door I stopped and said, You know, Im done! I turned around, walked to my car, and left. Another FYI: I didnt install the equipment in my car, I bought it and found out later that it had been modified so I was trying to get running properly, and the code was an important factor in doing so. I have not been back to this location, and will more than likely never go back. I get having a bad day and providing poor customer service from time to time, but being a know it all and slamming a customer belittling them is not acceptable.

We were replacing our alternator ourselves because were broke, and Bob was super helpful and kind to us. After four hours and a lot of nice people, we were able to finish right at closing in able to return their tools. Bob offered to lend us his if we needed them longer but thankfully that wasnt necessary. Wonderful person! This is my store now

I cant say enough good about this place. Wifes alternator died and we managed to give the battery enough of a charge to get it to AutoZone. We got a new alternator from them, and they lent us some tools to fix it. What should have been a 30 min job or less according to YouTube, ended up taking a newbie like me hours.Bob was extremely nice and occasionally brought us drinks and asked how we were doing and if we needed anything. Other people stopped by to help as well, and even though it was really hot outside, it ended up being a great experience. This location will always have my business.

Not too impressed. Just came in about a warranty on an Alternator. The main guy that helped me was good to work with. But when another employee, I think it was one of the manager’s ( real short guy) came over and informed me that the warranty does not transfer ownership. The problem was the delivery. I am fine with the fact that the warranty doesn’t transfer over, but his demeanor and delivery was completely unprofessional. ( I am in customer service myself there are definitely better ways to communicate) As I stood there looking at the other alternator’s available, that is where I decided to not buy the part there and too never step foot in that autozone again. ( my son had a very poor experience there as well, basically the same kind of thing not too long ago) you have officially lost 2 customer’s today.We will stick to O -Riley’s in Lehi. I have always enjoyed the guys there, and they are happy to help!

I usually have pretty good service at auto zone but not this one. I asked for some help changing my battery that I just bought and got a half a set of tools so I spent half an hour in the rain in business casual changing it myself trying not to get my clothes all dirty. I know I could have gone when I had work clothes on but my battery died and I couldn’t keep relying on jump starts

I’ve been going to this store for about 4 years now and always had a bad experience 80% of the time and 20% a good experience. Most recently we went in to buy a radiator, guy helping us was super nice the first time. However once we got the old radiator out they were different. We went back to the store just looking to do an exchange for the new one, the older man then continued to go off about how “we didn’t do our homework” and that we must not know what car we have. We looked up the vin right there and showed him that it pulled the exact model we gave him. At the end of the day he just didn’t want to acknowledge that we got the wrong one. We left ending up just getting a return because I couldn’t deal with him anymore. A couple days later I got a call from the GM Chad and he apologized for the experience and helped us find the right part. After years of going here I never really had a good experience, but after this I am hopeful. Thanks for turning a bad experience around chad!

Better than the Provo AutoZone, It all depends on who is working there for your experience, I recently bought a part for my car and they gave me a gasket that went with the part free. I had to re-buy the part as I lost it.. this time at the Provo AutoZone they charged me $3 for the gasket, so its hard to rate as so much of your experience there will depend on the auto parts seller.

Im honestly shocked at how cold and unfriendly the staff member who helped me at the counter was. [Chad] helped me on the phone and was very helpful but the employee in store was rude, not patient, and seemed really irritated that the part I bought was incorrect and had to be returned. I ended up going to OReily Auto Parts and had a night and day difference in my experience.

Stopped by because I had a screw and plastic part stuck in my tire and at 8 on a Saturday night nothing else was open. Ben was amazing-- prying out the stubborn screw and plastic piece and patching the hole. I was so grateful I bought an air filter and he installed that too and then when he realizex I was missing some bolts for the filter holder he went in an installed those.All of this was free of charge (except buying the filter). I was blown away!

I’ve recently had them test a battery and starter that were working well (just to rule them out as the problem) they just wanted to make a few extra hundred dollars both times. Don’t do the free testing here, they’ll tell you that it’s bad whether or not it really is. GO GET A SECOND OPINION. The employees are dishonest.
