Awesome service! I was working on a weird project, trying to fix my bike and Israel helped me out and helped me find a solution to my problem. It was a pleasant experience. And I solved my problem!

I am restoring a car and came here with 4 different bags of unknown hardware (stainless steel washer nuts to secure struts, bumpers, exhaust components) I needed more and replacements of. I found everything I was looking for, including nylon fasteners for trim that always breaks when removed from old cars. I even got 2 posters and a coozie, pen, notebook, and magazine just for shopping here for my first time. I will definitely be back, and never going to Lowe’s or Home Depot again for hardware.

Im writing a review because the manager (Israel) goes above and beyond and that kind of service deserves to be recognized. I had been working on a go cart with my kids, it was Friday afternoon and I needed a couple of bearings. We had been hoping to finally try out our cart on Saturday. I called to see if they had bearings, they did but said theyd be closed by the time I got there. We were disappointed and I asked if they knew anywhere else I could get what I needed. He said to just come on down anyways and hed stay a bit late so I could get it. When I got there he helped me find what I needed and was so nice about. Ive been there several other times now because of it.

I needed to put together a loft bed for my daughter. The bed manufacturer didnt include a very specific type of bolt I needed to finish the job. And they couldnt seem to ship me what I needed when I asked them. I couldnt find it in the big box stores, either. Someone recommended these guys, and Im really glad they did.When I entered the store, the manager was so helpful and nice. He ended up letting me buy the bolts he had ordered for his own chair, since they were special order and wanted me to be able to use them now and not have to wait for them to be shipped to me. He said they should work better than what I even needed. And they did!He was determined to help me, even if it meant giving me his own bolts! I was so appreciative for the help, because I know very little about hardware and didnt know what to do or where else to go. He even gave me a swag bag with my purchase, and said to call if I needed more bolts ordered and they could ship it to my house.I rarely experience customer service like this. Fastenal knows what theyre doing, can find you anything, and is super nice and friendly while doing it!

Needed a couple bolts for a Jeep project I was working on. I actually got referred to this company by a Jeep mechanic. The manager and employees were super helpful in finding me the bolts I needed. They have more than just nuts and bolts too. They also are giving me a good deal on a toolbox I need for my mechanic job. I’m definitely giving them my business in the future!

I went to their American Fork location and was blown away with their great customer service. They were kind, quick, and efficient in answering all of my questions. I was on the search for a strange piece of hardware and they were able to give me what I needed faster than it took other places to figure out the name of my item. I think I found a new favorite store for all of my hardware needs.

In store service is great! The field rep service is lacking a lot. They sometimes do not return text, and calls. Just don’t seem to care much about getting it right the first time. Really nice people so all in all not too bad.

The manager of the American Fork location is the man. The dude stayed late to help me guess the size based on trial and error. He let me borrow a couple tools, and was just a super awesome guy to work with. Great prices and service and he will beat most any price else where. Will be going back again for sure.

Today I visited Fastenal for the first time. The store is new, clean and well organized. Within 30 seconds of entering, someone was helping me find what I needed. When the employee asked his manager for help, the mentorship and guidance shared was impressive. I ended up getting a small packet of metric, self-tapping screws, as well as a custom-ordered bolt, washer and nut assembly as a replacement for one I had to cut off of my truck during a decent repair. They were creative in helping me find an affordable and nice looking solution.While I waited, they offered a cold bottle of water. The level of service was so good that I offered in the spot to take pictures for them and write this review.Ill add that the store organized and labeled well enough that Im confident I could have found what I needed without them, but their assistance made it much quicker.

Absolutely outstanding business. Best selection of nuts and bolts anywhere. Found exactly what needed quickly and at a better price than Lowe’s or HD.We work with glass. Their selection of safety gloves is excellent. And, they’re prices are better than what we can order via the Internet.We’re hooked!

The crew at this location are fantastic to work with! They take such good care of our factory. They are easy to communicate with, and react quickly to our urgent needs. They carry just about anything you would need, and if they dont have it and you need it, they will track it down and stock it. Great group of guys, and the manager is top notch.

Fantastic customer service. Dont waste your time at the big box, their selection is now very limited. I was given the red carpet treatment and a bag of swag by Israel and I only spent $2.48. Customer for life. Their location can be a little hard to find, but worth it.

The customer service at the American fork location is by far tops. Whether it be walking in to the store or needing residual supplies in the work place or home, you will not be disappointed. After working with Israel on many needs, I knew that his competency in any request I had would be met. The customer service is excellent at the American Fork store. Whats great about Fastenal is, if they dont have what your looking for in stock they can order it in within a day or two. In fact, youd be surprised at the depth of products you can actually get from them.... just ask if they have a certain item and they can usually get it. They carry much more items than you would think.

Went to Home Depot and they didn’t have a washer big enough to work for my project. Josh helped me get setup with all the right hardware and explained everything to me. 10/10 Would recommend them to anyone! Ask for Josh.

What a great resource Fastenal in American Fork is!!! I used to think they were the place you go when you cant find the right bolt anywhere else! They are also our go to for tools/safety supplies/drill bits/ grinding wheels and a million other needed items. In the strange even they dont have what you are looking for they can usually get it next day. They are also a factory authorized tool repair outlet as well. Fast turn around times! Amazing team with products no one else has. Spent hours calling every hardware and parts store in the valley for a specialty part no one else carried, and this store had me ready to go in less than 2 minutes. They have thousands upon thousands of regular and specialty parts on hand. Superior quality products, at really, really good prices, and everything you could imagine they can order in. Ive been searching for a specific sized bolt for a couple weeks. Home Depot and Lowes didnt have anything in stock. Ordering it in would of been a ridiculous amount to pay for a single bolt. I came across Fastenal which recently opened a store in American Fork, UT. They had the bolt I was looking for right on the shelf. I was amazed! I thought my search was over. But the employees there got me thinking about what I needed it for. We came up with an idea to use a threaded rod and make the bolt. The great thing about that is, Ill get 2 or more of these types of boltts from the rod. Which is a 3/4 inch thick fine threaded bolt (3/4-16). I was very impressed with Fastenals service. I am also very happy there is a store close to me. Their my first stop whenever I need bolts, nuts, screws, power tools, etc.

Fastenal makes it easy and cost efficient to get parts when we need them by supplying our factory with vending machines that do not charge us until until we have taken the part out of the machine. The convenience of easily accessible parts is great for the safety and entire process of our production line. Thanks Fastenal!

I like going to the AF fastenal because the staff that works there are nice and friendly. It is super easy to figure out what you are looking for and the staff are always willing to help out. It is fast and easy.

I never heard of Fastenal so I looked it up and found the store it was great. They had everything I needed and cheaper than I thought it was going to be. I highly recommend them

They have what I need from the hard to find bolts,nuts, washers, screws, and they have the drill bits, extractors, Drills, Safety glasses, lets just say you need it, Theyll have it! Everything but the margarita machine! The guys over there are friendly and helpful. They get you in and out fast!

I work in the service dept. at Low Book Sales in Lindon and Im often dropping by this location over the other nearby Fastenal locations. The staff is very friendly, easy to work with and really appreciates our business. Their products are higher quality then what we currently have(according to the whole service dept. and not just myself) and they are at a better price. For those reasons, we look forward to continued business with this location. 5 stars for sure! As far as our dealerships needs go, theyre better and still less expensive than our other local options, like home depot, ace hardware, etc. I recommend working with Israel, but anyone in the staff will get you taken care of.

Okay to use in a pinch. Not a huge selection of different lengths of fine or coarse threads, which seems strange for a fastener company. Also seemed reluctant to do custom amounts, but just about every box had been opened and a few removed (with the new quantity written on the side).

I have had the pleasure of going to fastenal a couple times this last month and I have been extremely happy with my experience. I used to always think they were for specialty products only but they carry so much more. The service is unmatched at any other hardware store. Fastenal does it all, they supply us with all our fastenal, tools and safety product. They carry a wide range of gloves, safety glasses, respirators, and protective clothing that we use daily.We have a few vending machine throughout our entire factory that hold everything from protective equipment, glues/adhesive, tape, batteries and drill bits. Just recently, they even started stocking our ice.What I like most is how it easy and convenient it to place a order online.

I’ve been to different fastenal locations all over, but this location- hands down the best selection and customer service I have ever received. The customer service alone will have me going out of my way to this location for any supply I need in or outside of work.

Israel made shopping easy here. We always get what we need and as a korean semiconductor tool company we have parts that you cannot easily find here. If they do have it, they get it quick, no questions asked and at great prices. If you cant find something with tools, equipment, or hardware, go to fastenal and you will leave satisfied.

Not happy with the service. They do not keep items stocked. Also when they ordered something for me they did it wrong so when I went in to pick it up it wasn’t there when they said it would be.I originally gave them a good review for a free T-shirt, I regret that. Was not worth it.
