I ordered the 14’ retaining wall kit from TDU. I’m surprised this company hasn’t been sued for false advertising. The pictures on their site, as well as their item description is completely false. What I received looks nothing like what they advertise. The retaining wall is very flimsy and cheap, it does not lock together at all, it slides together and doesn’t hold. It also only attaches to the top rail of the trampoline, so unless you purchase a trampoline from the company, this item is a complete waste of $900. The directions tell you to backfill the inside of the trampoline with dirt to support the barrier. Once you do this, the very cheaply built barrier separates. There’s 33 panels so you have to unscrew every separated panel and put them back together. If they sold the barrier that they actually advertise on the site, this would never be an issue. Customer service is worthless, they just tell you how amazing their product is. Product return policy is garbage. They sell you a falsely advertised product then tell you have to pay for return shipping and that they’ll only accept the item if it’s in original packaging and unused. I’m not a person who usually writes bad reviews but be aware before you spend money with this company!

My truck had mechanical problems while at their office. He let a couple of us sit indoors and offered us the use of his mechanic and even brought us Gagorade drinks as we waited for AAA to come. Ill go out of my way to work with this company again.

This is a fantastic investment for your backyard fun! I had zero desire for an ugly trampoline above ground that was an eyesore, dangerous and in the way of mowing. This product looks beautiful and we couldnt be any happier. The installation wasnt a terrible challenge, I did it all by hand. Our hole was a bit tight and we needed some KY jelly to squeeze that frame in but it went and we are very happy with the outcome.

I was so excited to purchase this trampoline after hearing what a well built product it is. We ordered a complete in ground system in April. After it arrived with no surrounding safety mat, I called to ask where it was. I was told then it was back ordered until July 1. This would’ve been helpful knowing before I purchased it. By early July we still had no safety pad. I called and emailed multiple times with no response. Finally in mid August through their text chat someone actually responded to me. After I explained we’ve been waiting months for the surrounding pad that was already paid for she apologized and said somehow it slipped through the system and they would get it right out. They did ship it right away which was nice but she had no explanation for why they haven’t contacted me earlier and just quit texting me. By the time we receive the pad the ground was grown in to the trampoline and there was no way to attach it the way it was supposed to be attached. It obviously is supposed to be attached when you put the system in not four months later. So now my husband has just jimmy rigged it to make it work but after paying almost 2 grand for a system this is less than ideal. With zero communication on their part and responsibility. I would not recommend purchasing this through them. Although the product itself is well built and fun. Just pray you don’t need their help with anything or customer service because it’s very hard to get!Update: in response to owner. I know I purchased it through you. I am not confused. And your right I never actually did talk to a person because no one would call back. I did jump to conclusions that through text chat I was talking with a female but it likely could have been a male. I appreciate the info about installing pad later. I can look into that. As said before it would have been helpful if I had know this information trying to install 4 months later. Thank you!

We were super excited for this trampoline because of the high quality and great reviews. Unfortunately we have had a partially put together trampoline for 3 weeks now because of the bad customer service and lack of understanding of how the trampoline goes together by a staff member that will not call back, but just text. They tried to send us replacement parts but sent the wrong box a few times now. I dont want to detail all the interactions because it will take forever but be careful spending $2k on this trampoline. Wishing I would have purchased a $500 trampoline locally and built my own retaining wall at this point.

Everyone on here has reviewed the quality of the product and it hands down is the best Ive seen. Sturdy structure, springs, jumping surface, and pads (love the vented design). They quality isnt necessarily our favorite part, its what theyve provided at our house.I have to say that these have transformed our house and outdoor living. I have 3 installed in the ground in a triangle so kids can jump from one to another. We also added custom lighting to ours for night time jumping (red, green, and blue glowing) and a sprinkler in the middle for summer months. We have never paid for a vacation (similar cost, $$$$) or product that has had our boys (ages 4,6,8,10) interacting more in our lives. We love the fact that friends love coming to our house vs. our kids wanting to go their friends houses. Worth every single penny. These trampolines are abused by us and our neighbors daily, rain or shine, and they hold up to the test. Favorite games are currently banana tag, and freeze tag. Thanks Trampolines Down Under for our amazing backyard!

We live in Colorado and wind is a constant issue. We have had multiple trampolines that have blown away, despite having them anchored to the ground. We had almost given up the idea of being able to have a trampoline in our backyard until we stumbled upon trampolines down under. We decided to give it one last shot and figured it was worth the investment of having an inground trampoline. We ordered the 14 foot bundle and it arrived very quickly. With the use of a backhoe, we were able to break ground and have the trampoline completely put together, ready to go, in 5 hours! The instructions are simple and the quality is top notch. Our children have already spent hours upon hours using it, and we can tell it’s going to stand the test of time! We are beyond thrilled with this product and would highly, highly, highly recommend it!

After owning several different trampolines over the years that were basically throw aways after a season this has been by far the best decision we have made in a trampoline. The design, quality, and construction is vastly superior and is clearly in a class above less expensive offerings currently available in the market. Each component is extremely high quality which is essential for a good in-ground system. One major factor for us when making this decision was the high spring count. This system has one of the highest spring counts and the performance is immediately noticeable when you jump on it. With this high of a spring count the longevity of the springs is collectively extended. The vented pad works great for water drainage and allows for proper air flow under the mat while providing safe spring coverage for kids. This is by far my kids favorite activity and it is played on non-stop. I rarely post product reviews but a product this good deserves some love. Weve had it for over 3 years now and it is working flawlessly. THANKS!!!

The old saying is you get what you pay for. If cheap is what you want, I suggest you look elsewhere. If you want quality products, attention to detail and personalized customer service, then I can’t recommend TDU enough. The products are amazing. You can tell they are well built and will last. The staff has been spectacular. Christian is professional, courteous and meticulous. We even had shipment delays and he was on top of it every step of the way. I had questions about assembly and he was one call away and took care of everything. Our dog decided to chew some of the safety buckles off the pad and he went out of his way to get replacements. Our entire experience has been wonderful. I have no plans to dig another trampoline pit but if I do, I will only use TDU products. From the bottom of my heart, I just want to say thank you for everything!!!

Basically.... 2 years later its falling apart.Installed this about two years ago. At first we liked it. It looked really nice in our yard and I liked the idea of the vented pad. Then while visiting my parents I tried their trampoline and found it to be MUCH bouncier. Their trampoline is also 5 years old so I thought mine just had to get worked in over the next few years. However, the straps holding the pad down fell off pretty early on, so we started using other rope to hold it in place. Now this summer we have realized that the springs are ripping right off the pad and all the stitching had come undone. Crazy thing is, my wife and I dont jump on it just our little 5 and 2 year old kids...Not happy with the overall quality and am hoping to replace the pad with one from American Playground. Thats where my parents got their trampoline. Hopefully this helps with other peoples buying decisions.

I purchased a Trampoline Down Under a couple of years ago. At the time, I was a little concerned about spending more money for one these trampolines but Im glad I did. It has held up very well. We had an issue with some springs (some of them had become rusted/corroded) but when I called the company, they were super easy to work with and they replaced all the springs that were having issues. I would purchase again from them and its comforting to know they really do stand behind their product.Update: June 2019. Weve had the trampoline a couple years now and it has been a very good purchase. Just recently, the mat has sustained some stitching tears. I contacted TDU and they immediately provided a solution to remedy the issue. They went above and beyond my expectations with their excellent service and proved again that they stand behind their product.

My wife and I were a little skeptical about getting a trampoline when we movied into our new home in Alpine. I knew as a boy that my siblings and friends loved having a trampoline and I wanted my boys to enjoy that as well. This new design is not only GREAT LOOKING, but it is super safe. The install was quick and clean. The way they have designed this thing is amazing. There are no sharp edges and the pad actually stays tight to the springs. My 4 year old and 2 year old boys are in heaven and we are so happy with this product.

The retaining wall part of the product is very poor, it is not strong. It does not retain the back fill the way you would expect a retaining wall to. Days after it was installed, the walls started to fold in to the point of coming apart and breaking the interlocking buckles. I called customer support to see if there was anything they could do or replace some of the broken panels, and the response was you can buy more panels, but you cant return it and we wont replace broken panels. The retaining kit is way overpriced, especially since it DOES NOT WORK! I would not waste your time with this, there are more afforadable and stronger methods to the retaining wall piece of an in the ground trampoline.Very poor product that does not work!

This product is AMAZING! My son went to the ER two different times for stitches after jumping on in-ground trampolines with metal retaining wall rings. Those sharp edges can be horrible! TDU has a great product that completely eliminates that problem. This system is extremely easy to use and I installed the panels by myself with no trouble at all. They simply screw right to the trampoline frame. After they are back filled, it gave my trampoline a very clean, professional look. I love this system... more importantly, my kids love it!I have had many friends and neighbors that have visited and asked about the system, then put TDU in their own yards! This really is a fantastic product!

Trampolines Down Under truly has amazing products. Not only is their trampoline the highest quality it is also the most bouncy trampoline I have ever installed. Ive bought and installed many trampolines with my company Jeff Miller Landscapes, and I am now a 100% TDU customer. I even used to manufacture my own retention systems, but switched to these guy because nothing compares to the ease, durability, and cleanliness of the TDU in-ground retention system. Dont waste your time on any other product or system for burying a trampoline.. this is the one to go with.

We installed the system in 2014. After 2 years the pad and the mat were not holding up as well as would be expected. In reviewing the website I saw that others had some similar issues and Kyle had reached out to them letting them know the Gen1 products had not performed as expected and to contact him regarding the Gen2. I reached out to Kyle and let him know my situation. As claimed, they stood behind their product. He replaced my defective Gen1 mat and pads with their Gen2 at no cost to me, plus the Gen2 mat and pads now come with a 2 year warranty as opposed to the one year the Gen1 had.We have been very happy with our trampoline and so has our kids. It is also refreshing to work with a business that stands behind their product and is true to their word. Thank you again Kyle and Chris!

TDU Trampolines are overpriced garbage. We had our trampoline installed by a professional landscape company in July of 2013. From day one, three were issues. The retaining wall system didnt fit the trampoline very well (both purchased from TDU) and the plastic panels never locked tight. When backfilled, several bowed very badly but thankfully, none have broken or shifted much since then. The trampoline pad that came with the kit was missing two d-rings so two springs couldnt be installed. Thankfully, Sprinkler World (the supplier our landscaper used) changed it out. BUT, the one they swapped also had issues since it was missing one d-ring. We decided one missing d-ring wouldnt be an issue so we just left it as is. Within the first 60 days, we noticed d-rings starting to break free from their stitching. Before the first winter about 30% of the d-rings ripped free. A replacement pad from TDU was about $180, we found another from a different supplier for $80. The replacement one is WAY better and less than half the price. Since installing it in spring of 2014, no issues unlike the TDU one that couldnt even make it 60 days. The next thing to go was the safety pad that covers the springs. To TDUs credit, the vented design is great but just like all the other junk they make, this fell apart. It too started to fall apart (seams coming undone) before the first season was done. We took them inside over the winter to try and make them last longer. We put them back out in the spring and before the second season was even in full swing they had completely come apart. TOTAL JUNK! They are a great design so I looked at getting replacement ones but they are 3 times the price of regular safety pads.If you only need a trampoline for one season (or maybe 30-60 days), TDU makes a great disposable product. If you need something that will last longer AND cost less, look elsewhere.
