I had the pleasure of buying a 2011 Crown Vic from Wild Rose. I picked it up yesterday. I have not driven it much but so far I am delighted with the car. I chose one in excellent condition. It was rather expensive for a 10 year old car. However, the cool factor and novelty are off the charts. I am looking forward to the tinkering and upgrading. The shop is smaller than the internet presence would suggest. The owner Seton is a chatty, friendly character. Highly recommended used car dealership

If you’re looking for a Crown Vic, this is the place to go! I went down there and a few hours later I had a beautiful all black Crown Vic. Seton was extremely helpful during the buying process. Most of the time was spent chatting and telling stories which made the buying process so enjoyable! I went back a few months later for some modifications and the work they did was excellent! I’m so happy a place like Wild Rose Motors exists!

This is the place to go if youre into Crown Victoria Police Interceptors. Its worth the trip just to meet the owner, Seton. I drove my P71 from Northern California just to have these guys work on it. Theyre listed as a car dealer, but these guys are dedicated to keeping Crown Vics on the road, especially Police Vics. Theyre also work on newer Police Interceptors. Recommend highly, if you want experts who know the P71, to fix your car right.

Bought my first police interceptor from Seton after much research. This was one of the best car purchases Ive ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I told Seton what my budget was and he had the perfect car for me to look at and test drive. I immediately got the sense he was a man of his word and could be completely trusted. The purchase was seamless and completely without drama. I would recommend Wild Rose to anyone! Many thanks to Seton and the crew!

Where to start. Im a huge police interceptor fan, Ive had 3 over 8+ years. My current motor went 220k+ miles on a ford engine that was installed in 2009 by ford (documented). Im very hard on this car, and I eventually blew the motor. This was with a lot of over heating and heavy driving. Might of been a rod or lifter.. Two+ years of that was supercharged.I reached out to seaton/wildrose motors and this is where everything is good during your SALES portion. We worked out 1 Week for a motor swap, 30k Used motor $3,300. $4300 later and we are started! other parts and items came up.4 weeks later, Im begging for updates or my car, finally I get it last minute on a friday. This is where the head aches start. I take the car to get aligned since the sub frame was dropped and new front bushings i was unsold... Alignment shop gets it up in the air, and notices my motor mount bolts/nuts were missing/not installed. So the car could not be aligned, I had to drive back to Seaton, they fixed it, and back to the alignment shop.. This happened back and forth for a few things (even though they charged me for a new bushing and install, seaton realized they never installed it and i had to go back again... and re-align again), they claim to be experts on this car, but I can see they re-wired some things, trying to debug a wiring issue, that was just a connector/clip being loose. The motor lasted 8 months and now has a blown head gasket symptoms. Called seaton and he advised he was too busy (as he was before) and he would let me know what he could do, That was two weeks ago.I believe I was given an engine that was overheating and having issues. When he showed me a water pump that looked like it had been through world war, rusted/bad, hes like thats your old water pump... which was odd, cause I had reciepts and installed a brand new ford OEM one 2 months before it got to his shop. That was the water pump that was on the old engine he gave me. Some head bolts were hard to remove, some were not tight at all.If a head gasket on a recently installed or rebuilt engine fails, chances are the problem was installer error. Thats a nice way of saying the guy who assembled your engine screwed-up. Maybe he didnt tighten down the head bolts in the proper sequence or to the specified torque. Maybe the torque wrench he used was inaccurate, or he didnt follow the proper tightening procedure. Maybe the bolt threads were dirty, or the bolts were damaged or stretched. Or maybe the surface of the cylinder head or engine block were not clean, smooth or flat. Any of these things can cause a poor seal and result in a premature head gasket failure. My old engine lasted from 2009-2018 of which I drove 4 years personally aggressively, and overheating for 4 years, and never blew a head gasket. 200-220 degree coolant temp. The NEW/USED motor from wild rose motor never saw more then 200 degrees in 8 months. Something was not torqued right or defective. I have a feeling he reused my old block or parts or similar. When having the labor done to replace the failed engine (almost $2,000) to get to and replace the headgaskets, the cylinder that was suspected to have the leak head gasket bolt on that side was not torqued tight enough... which also leads me to believe they may of not been torqued in the correct order. Warped head/uneven and bad exhaust guides.Things that were not completed:ac accuator left unplugged, AC freon not refilled.replaced nss, twice. brought it to them twice to fix, turned out to be a wiring connector not the NSS, these guys are as expert on these cars as they lead us to believe.New belt I provided and new spark plugs were not installed.Emailed Owner of the company 12/18/19 - no replyCalled and talked to Seaton in January who advised he didnt think there was anything he could do, he was real busy he would check and call me back. He has not called back.If you work hard for your money steer away from this place fast. Take a moment and step back from his Pre-sales tactics. RUN!

I have known Wild Rose Motors and Seton for about 7 years now. I finally had the opportunity to put a deal together on an 06 Crown Vic! Seton was great to deal with. He knew about each car i asked about. What condition they are in, what work was done and much more. He asked me questions on the purpose and use of the vehicle and then steered me in the right direction. The interaction with him was great! We struck a deal and off we go. After a test drive, additional questions and more tire kicking I purchased a 2006 Crown Vic which Seton knew well. What was done, current condition, expectation and on point for my purpose and use. All i could say is i should have done this 7 years ago!! I highly recommend Wild Rose as they truly are experts in these vehicles! Thank you Seton - I greatly appreciate all you did to make this a great experience! Ted

One of the best car buying experiences Ive ever had. I was recently involved in a tbone style collision in my small pick up truck, in which a driver went through a stop sign and hit me right in the middle of my truck. After the accident i knew there was only one choice for a vehicle and that was a police interceptor from Seton, He went above and beyond to put my family and myself in a safe, reliable, and super clean car that was right in my budget. thanks again to all the staff at wild rose motors for going above and beyond my expectations, i would highly recommend to anyone looking for a excellent car and an amazing value to stop by and visit.

My review as posted on Yelp. Want to share my experience!Crown Victoria Police Interceptor specialist!I purchased my 2011 CVPI last fall and became aware of WildRose Motors thru their informative videos. I made appointment for a 60K service and a comprehensive inspection of my vehicle.Seton Montgomerie, owner spent time listening to my concerns and answering my questions while doing a walk around inspection prior to a test drive. While driving me to a nearby Starbucks to wait, he gave me his impressions driving my car (no problems detected).I came back later in the day to go over the results of the mechanics inspection during the service. Seton reviewed cell phone pictures he had taken of areas of concern from underneath the chassis. We then went out to the service bay for a first hand look. His experience told him my vehicle had evidence of a lot of deferred maintenance ( untouched since leaving the factory!) He spent a lengthy period of time reviewing what he recommended to service/ replace/repair or upgrade. He made some cost effective recommendations on several issues that could be addressed on this visit. Seton then put together a quote for future recommended repairs. I am impressed with his depth of knowledge!Since the required work would take till close of business, Seton was a generous host while I was waiting, even providing a battery charger for my cell phone! For the balance of the day, he updated me on progress of my service and repair, showing me the original spark plugs removed and the transmission/rearend fluids drained from my CVPI.If you are looking for a knowledgeable specialist in Ford Crown Victorias, I highly recommend Seton and his staff at Wild Rose motors. Made my 80 mile drive to them well worth it!Mike R.

I own a standard 2004 Ford Crown Victoria LX that has 288,000 miles on it. I have had car for 11 years and love it. Big trunk, safe, fast, good handling, and amazingly gets good mileage for a 4,300 pound car. I get 26 miles per gallon cruising to Vegas at 80 MPH. Same engine & transmission.Recently my car was overheating and steaming up the windshield because my heater core was leaking. The Ford dealer that had replaced it six months before had my car for three days and couldnt figure it out or was intentionally trying to fish out of the warranty work (theres a surprise). My friend on CHP recommended Wild Rose Motors and I had my car towed over there. Seton Montgomerie / Owner did a quick inspection of my car and within five minutes after the tow truck dropping my car diagnosed my heater core was leaking. He took me back in his shop. Seton had pulled up the carpet and showed me he the leaked-out coolant had pooled in the passenger floorboard. I was impressed. At a Ford dealer you wait for hours and only talk to the service writer and never talk to the service tech. that is working on your car.I asked Seton to check out my whole car because I was thinking of rebuilding the engine anyway plus steering, suspension was loose and worn out. I came back the next day and Seton spent a good hour going over reviewing what he recommended I replace/upgrade on my car. He had my car up on the rack showed me the worn out steering arms, suspension, rear end, etc, plus rebuilding the motor. I Iove the car and want to keep it and have no problem several spending several thousand on it. His prices are reasonable. Plus, I dont like any of the new flimsy Unibody cars or SUVs that sell for $35 to $40 grand. Those cars are a joke. Get hit it one of those they are going to crumble. I like that big steel-box chassis frame on a Crown Vic. Its bulletproof.Seton had my car for two weeks plus he gave me a free loaner car. I picked up my car last Sat. 7/15/17. Runs like a new car. More power (about 300 horsepower now). Steering and suspension upgrade with high performance sway bars makes car handle tight. Really notice it at high speed on banked freeway transition roads. Car stays flat. No body roll like before. I love it!Seton is old school. He is a great guy. He takes the time to show and explain everything to you and takes pride in his work. The fact that he refurbishes Crown Vics and other cars for law enforcement tells you something about his credibility. They wouldnt go there unless he did good work and was a straight shooter.Seton mentioned does doe work on other cars. It depends on the car. If you need some major work on your car, you have to nothing to lose by calling Seton or having him look at it. You will get an honest answer.Mark G.Los Angeles, CA.

I was sold a a complete lemon. Read this whole story if youre considering buying a car from them.I bought a car from him in with 73,000 miles on it. I was told the whole sales routine of these cars are tanks and are very easy and cheap to repair, and generally run to 300k miles. I bought it for $8000 cash with 73,000 miles on it. Seemed like a good deal.I drove the car 17k miles and very moderately over the course of 3 years. I took very good care of the car as well, and repaired and serviced it regularly. The whole engine died at 90,000 miles. After I only drove 17,000 miles!Systematically the car started falling apart the day I drove it away. It completely died the next day after purchase. Turns out the battery was completely bad and wouldnt even hold a charge. They sold me a car with an old dead battery. I had to buy a new battery, put it in the car, drive an hour back to Anehiem where theyre located, get a newish battery from them, then return the one I just bought. Took a whole day.The AC condenser and compressor broke within a year of having the car. I had to redo the whole AC system and hoses ($800-$1000)The car had a radiator leak when sold to me. Turns out the leak was really bad and I had to have the whole intake manifold replaced because of it, as well as the leak fixed. ($800)Drivers window harness broke ($125).Window switches start going bad, left them alone. It was sold with bald tires, add tires and all the other tune ups and spark plugs and oil changes over time Ive done to the car, also had it painted. With all that and maintenance, $4000 extra after I bought the car. All on a car that cost $8000. Total of $12000 spent. So one day out of nowhere the car just doesnt start at 90,000 miles. I have it towed to the closest mechanic because Im far from home. They cant figure it out. Waste $400 in several tows and diagnostic expenses. I get Desperate and call Wild Rose Motors where I bought the car from. Im sitting on a dead car that Ive spent $12000 on. He says hell take care of it and have it towed to him, I do that.Im then told the timing chain broke and the pistons werent firing correctly and got damaged because of that. Replace pistons for $1800 or whole engine for $1900. I went with the engine. After the engine, labor and the diagnostic fees from Wild Rose, $3200.After I pay that and I go to pick it up, the check engine light is on. Im then told 3 out of 4 of my Oxygen sensors are bad. $650 to replace all 4. I pay that. $3850 total. I couldnt believe I went to go pick my car up with a newer engine, and the check engine light is still on, then he charges me more to fix it. $15,850 total on the car now.Over the course of the next few days with the newer engine, the car keeps dying over and over while driving it. I take it back to him. He said the idle air sensor is bad. He replaced it with an old used one from another car, I was shocked he didnt charge me and actually took some responsibility for the car.Im driving away and the car dies again. I take it right back, he then tells me its my alternator is going bad and he can replace that for a fee. I opted not to. Mind the car never randomly died before they put the newer engine in. The car ended up costing around $16,000 totalThis whole story is on Yelp, its too long for here.
