Spoke with George, who claims to be the owner. Purchased flooring that we were told was the exact same flooring we had in our house. When we tried to install it, the flooring locking system was changed, therefore making our flooring obsolete. After explaining the issue to George, he stated that he would refund the money we spent because we were going to have to spend more money for the installation, which we initially were not paying. Then George referred us to someone who could install the flooring after fabricating the flooring that was not compatible with what we currently have.Shortly after, I received a call from Chase to set up the appointment. Chase had asked if we had the flooring or if he had to stop by Rite-Loom to get it. I told him we had the flooring and to save him a trip, we could use what we had.After contacting George to see how we could initiate the refund, George then said, Well, bring back the flooring and I refund you the money. After explaining to George that Chase had used the flooring and installed for $300, George stated the agreement that we previously had was now off the table.I explained to George that the only reason we agreed to use Chase was Rite-Loom was going to refund $100 and reduce the bill for installation to $200. At this point George became very rude and unprofessional, claiming that I was trying to get something for free, which is absurd because initially, there was going to be no charge for installation and now the bill had amassed a $400 charge because of shady business tactics by Rite-Loom.Ive had one of the worst transaction experiences with Rite-Loom and felt obligated to share this with potential customers. I will never go back and I would recommend that potential customer go elsewhere. This place is VERY unprofessional and the owner is a complete liar.
