Let me tell you a story. I have USAA Insurance. They had me take my vehicle to Able Body Shop for an initial estimate on a mishap. I got an estimate on April 5 2021. Able was unable to get me in until June 1. So I waited while they ordered / received parts and found a time slot for me. I Drop my vehicle of June 1 and receive a call on June 4 about further issues. They spend 16 hrs disassembling my vehicle to tell me that I needed another 8k in work. I did not need another 8k in work. Moreover, we further discovered that Able hadnt ordered all the parts needed and had discarded a critical part for reinstall (of which they had to order a new one - delaying me 2 further weeks for delivery to A1) and they removed parts to include the AC compressor for no reason (requiring a recharge now)I shopped around Anchorage for another shop and found A1 amenable and capable of receiving my disassembled 2017 Tacoma. Not only did they fix it in less than two weeks, they allowed me full access to inputs, were extensively accommodating with my needs, and delivered me a competently repaired vehicle within an extensively shorter timeline and all at a reasonable cost. I have no doubt if i had gone to them in April i would have had an operable truck in April. Pics include initial damage, how they received it disassembled and how I received it back satisfied.

Great honest people

Amazing, professional, and fair. They worked to find my parts at a reasonable price and communicated with me through the entire process. My car was not an easy fix and they were able to make it look brand new for a very fair price. I would 100% recommend this shop and will definitely use them in the future.

Disappointed. I went in an got an estimate, signed for them purchasing the part to get going on the repairs. No callback, I called twice and spoke with them and both times was told they would call me back and they didn’t. Seriously disappointed.

Work gets done I suppose. The shop is sketchy as can be though. Is this normal for a body shop?

STAY STAY STAY AWAY!!!! This place is very unprofessional! I decided to go to this place because of the good reviews, when I called to schedule an appointment for a quote on a new paint job they told me to come by without taking any of my information... when I showed up they werent really interested in working on my vehicle, they spent more time asking very personal questions, like where I got the vehicle from and what do I do for a living!! They also stated that the job is very expensive like I couldnt afford it! As a car enthusiast, I already knew a new paint job would range anywhere from 3k to 5k. They took down my name and Vin number and told me they will get back to me... its been four days now, I ended up calling them and they just told me to call back in an hour.

Ken has always taken care of my trucks, again he pulled off a miracle and fixed the frame on one of my trucks.

Great business family owned, owner walked me threw what needed to be down and got it in and out really fast, great price and they do great work.
