I would give zero stars if I could. My car has been there for 3 weeks now for what was supposed to be a “3-4” day fix. After a week with no update, I called to check. Was told it should be another 3-4 days. Now we are going on 2 more weeks and I can’t even get them to return a call. Unacceptable! Steer clear of them, I will never go back and I will make sure to tell everyone I know to stay away!

I was a little upset that my vehicle took longer, but I understand that a vehicle cannot be repaired without the proper parts (that were on backorder, so its not their fault). Then as the vehicle was getting ready to leave the shop, they did a final inspection and found out something that needed to be done and they did it before letting me drive off the lot with it. Now that I know they did a once over after getting it fixed it, I feel more safe with the repairs on the vehicle. They even detailed the inside (it smells amazing inside and clean). They even guarantee the repairs done for the life of the vehicle (so long as I dont sell it) and said to bring it back if I had any problems in the future. With me living 50 miles out of Anchorage and driving in and out everyday, Im glad they took the time to make sure everything was okay and safe for me to drive. Thank you!

Lithia Auto Body has helped us several times over the years (with several different cars, thanks to teenage boys) and EVERY time they have been timely, professional, and done an outstanding job!! High quality repairs that you couldnt tell were ever damaged! Price has always been good (lower than other quotes I had received). Repairs were done quickly and efficiently and the staff were easy to work with and incredibly friendly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING LITHIA AUTO BODY!! You wont be disappointed. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!!

Still waiting for a PO# from Chevrolet of South Anchorage to get my mirror painted from when they replaced it.. Shane said he will not issue a PO#.. Could figure out why mirror was showing white around the frame.. Alaska Sales and Service Body Shop has said it was not painted to match like the Passenger side mirror and Chevrolet of South Anchorage should make it right and correct the mistake by not Painting the Drivers Mirror to match the Passenger side.. They also could have seen when they removed the old one that it was Painted... Job not done correctly for the 2nd time with Chevrolet of South Anchorage...

I thought by their business name that it was for dealership repairs only, but it’s not! Anyone can bring their vehicles here for maintenance and bodywork! 5 stars start to finish!

I got into a fender bender in the Costco parking lot. My Toyota Tundra had no damage but the PT Cruiser was not as fortunate.My ball hitch gouged the poor flimsy car. The owner of the vehicle contacted Lithia Auto Body and they got it in fast. The service was excellent and easy to work with. The car was repaired perfectly and the paperwork with the insurance company was all taken care of as the car was done. I highly recommend Lithia Auto Body. I’ll add that the owner of the PT was very particular and not easily satisfied which he made very clear, however after he saw the quality of the repair and attention to detail, we were both very happy with the results.

The absolute best shop in Anchorage. The unfortunate part of it all is my vehicles are magnets for bad drivers. However, Rob and his crew down at Lithia Auto body always meticulously restore my vehicles to brand new again. I think Lithia auto body not only does a fantastic job about their work, but the customer service is spot on. I’d have to say I won’t be taking any of my Mopar anyplace else. Please consider this place above all else and you won’t be sorry!

They body shop was super to work with. They kept me informed throughout the process and coordinated with Enterprise for my rental. Even though there were delays (parts) that were out of their control, Rob and the crew at Lithia Body Shop were great to work with. Hope I don’t need to use a body shop anytime soon however, it will be Lithia Body Shop if I do!

We have five (5) drivers in our house. (Three are teenagers). We have had all types of accidents such as hitting stationary mail boxes, running into garage doors, a few pieces from under carriage fall of vehicle due to teenager driving off road roughly and truly some unfortunate accidents that were not always our fault. Rob Brown at Lithia Auto Body has always been our go to guy to help us. He is there during our time of need. No matter what he gets the job done and gets us back on the road. Rob always cares about his customers safety, well being, and quality of work. We highly recommend bringing your vehicle to Rob Brown at Lithia Auto Body.

If I could give 0 stars I absolutely would. My vehicle was towed to them via my insurance company. They don’t answer the phone, and when they do, they never have any new information even when weeks have gone by. Last conversation they said they didn’t have a clue when they’d get to it. Took it to another body shop and had an estimate the NEXT day. Do with this information what you will, but I wouldn’t waste my time. There’s other places that will get the job done. (Stepp Brothers Body Shop - for anyone interested in better work and customer service).

I had gotten my door replaced on my car following an accident that was covered by insurance. When my car was there I didnt get any calls updating me on the status of the repair although when I did call the representative was very nice and happy to help. When I got my car back after driving it for about a week I notice that it was on a bit odd and there was air coming through the bottom. I called to let them know and they told me to bring it in so I did. The representative took a look at it and said they can get it fixed up on Friday (which was 2 days away) I told them I had to work that day and they said they can pick it from my work no problem! Friday comes around and I shot him a text letting him know my car was ready and didnt hear back. I gave them a call and they didnt know what I was talking about and tried transferring me to the guy that was helping me. I was on hold for a very long time and somehow got connected to another customer that was on hold and then disconnected. I have not reached out since and have not heard back. I do not appreciate the hassle that I had trying to get this issue fixed, which it is still not!

Poor receptionist. She is the only sweetest person there. Everyone else are crooks and only cares about taking your money and does a horrible job. Once they get your money they will not pick up your call or deal with the further problem their repair has caused. Life time warranty? Thats bulls*t because they may do more damage in the process for one and second they never respond.

Old Seward Hwy/Anchorage- EXCELLENT job on my mustang. In two days my bumper was replaced, body buffed and paint matched perfectly. Not just that but they cleaned my interior and even the filthy door jambs. VERY pleased and really nice people work there.

I rear ended someone a month ago. They were super kind and respectful to me. When they called me to let me know my truck was ready for pick up I notice I had a mismatch of headlight in the truck. One was a chrome housing and the other side was a black housing. They said they would fix the problem. I received a call from the insurance adjuster saying my. Original lights were no longer made. Deal was I could find anything after market lights I want except they wanted to replace both my headlights which cost 1300 together with a pair of headlights that where 300 total. Took me three weeks trying to get the issue fixed but they kept being rude and not wanting to work with me on it. They eventually gave in and bought the lights I wanted but come to find out they said they can’t install them because it to many after market parts and refused to do it for me. I had to install them in my work parking lot I got it done myself in 2 1/2 hours they couldn’t even figure it out. So guys they will use cheap products to replace quality parts.

Absolutely horrible customer service. Did not finish fixing our car, we called so many times to get help and got none. They finally said they were unable to fix the vehicle after we waited for 5 months. We had to go somewhere else and it got fixed immediately. Be careful parking in their stuffed lot, or you might get hit. Dont go to Lithia Auto Body. They do not even deserve 1 star.

Exceptional service! I got rear ended at the end of this winter and needed a quarter panel and bumper replacement. Understandably, it’s never a quick schedule to get replacement parts to Alaska, so the work took about three weeks. I was called about all necessary updates, and my car was finished when they said it would be. Exterior and interior were also sparkling clean! Great service at first, brought my truck in with only the back sensors not working. Fixed within a week but when I picked up my truck I noticed that in their care they cracked my windshield almost all the way across. No big deal, went back in where they proceeded to tell me it was my fault and that they had nothing to do with it. They refused to fix my now ruined windshield. Will never go back.

Rob Brown the manager promises things and never delivers and doesnt respond to you and does a horrible mechanic job. Duct tapes my car and says he fixed it and thats how its supposed to be done. I can see the duct tape from a mile away.

Second time Lithia Autobody has repaired dents, first on my BMW and more recently on my beloved Ram truck. I love their work!. Looks perfect, work was on time, they called and kept me updated, and really did it all for a really good price. Ive had service at other shops, these guys are best in town!

At first (cant find original review*) I rated them a 4. Reasons for the star deduction: I thought something was removed from my car. There was ONE (1) bolt missing from the license plate, special order from a kit online.I found the missing item, apparently I missed it in the cup holder (? How the? First place I checked!)They special ordered a whole new license plate bracket, JUST to give me the one bolt that was lost ($90+!!)THAT, is 10 star worthy. Acknowledging the wrong, fixing it.The car was ready to go after day 2, seriously impressive turn around, excellent customer care, appreciation, and service. Thank you!!

I went there to get my car fixed and I warned them the backing of the key was loose and had even put take there to keep it on. The manager said its fine and then when I got the car back they handed my keys to me I noticed the backing of completely missing and so was the tape. I asked the manager as he tried to wall away and he said hed just get me a new remote. Sadly he dodged me for a few weeks before I finally got the matter settled.

I took my car to Lithia for auto body damage (upon multiple recommendations from Subaru, my insurance company, and coworkers). I was disappointed from the start regarding the lack of communication not only with myself as a customer, but between employees, but decided to take my vehicle here anyways due to the positive reviews. When I dropped off my car to have the exterior repaired, I received my car back over a week later (when they quoted only 5 days, which then messed up my rental accommodations -that was a different ordeal) with a fixed exterior, but MAJOR interior and electrical damage (not to mention how dirty the inside was when it was given back to me). When I reported the damage right away and reported this wasnt how I brought it in (in addition to all the damage occurring ONLY on the side they worked on), an employee told me they were unable to fix the issues and to bring it to the Subaru dealership. Subaru was able to determine that the Lithia mechanics had failed to plug the electronic system back in, however they would have to charge me to fix the other damages. When I contacted my insurance company to let them know of my experience and that I would not be paying for damages that I had not done, they had a representative come look at my car. The representative found 3 additional issues with the car due to them poorly putting my car back together upon fixing the exterior damage (now up to a total of 7 items wrong/broken). Luckily, the representative personally knew the Lithia owner and was able to get ahold of him via his personal cell phone to fix the damages. When I met with the owner, he stated the issues would be fixed within a day and they would overnight the parts. He also agreed to pay for a rental if more time was needed. I was pleased for the time being, but was very nervous to bring my car back to the same mechanics/technicians who had damaged it in the first place. I waited over a week before I had to contact the owner again myself to see what was the issue about the lack of communication (when he stated the parts would have been overnighted). I finally brought my car in in the morning (10am, so they would have all day to work on it), and verbally stated they would be closed before I got off of work, so to call me about the status of my car before they closed. I also printed out a copy of the items that needed to be fixed. The end of the day arrived when I brought my car in for the second time for them to fix the damage they had created, but nobody ever called me to let me know the status of my car. I was stuck at work with no vehicle, relying on a friend to pick me up. I drove past both locations to see if my car was fixed and a lock in had been completed. This was not the case. I left a message stating my frustrations. They called back the next morning apologizing for the mix up and that my car was done. They agreed to drop off my car at work (since I had to rely on someone else to get to work so I would not have to take a day off), but this took over an hour. I received my car back a second time just as dirty, but with everything fixed. Their mechanics/technicians do NOT take the time or precision to fix issues without creating new ones and the entire company has HORRIBLE communication. I would NOT recommend this company to people who like direct/consistent communication, who work long hours (Lithia hours are horrible for drop off/picks ups), or who like getting their car back the first time in an acceptable/fixed manner. I will definitely be taking my car elsewhere for future work. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Horrible experience! Lithia called to advise that work is complete and we can pick up our vehicle. Parts were not fastened, bolts were missing, and damaged parts were not replaced. We left the vehicle w Lithia 2 more times to get issues corrected. Then was told by Body Shop Manager that their work was done to industry standard. They made no offer to correct the deficient work and advised in writing that Geico could help find a shop that can inspect and correct any work not up to industry standard....apparently Lthia’s warranty of their work that is advertised leaves much to be desired. Beware of the incredibly poor customer service and little to no regard for return customers. This place requires that you understand body work better than they do. False and deflecting statements were made, versus working to correct the issues! Bolts were literally not reinstalled! Insurance company had to engage and we took truck to Fix Auto Body where they replaced all missing and damaged parts and found additional work that was not completed or done correctly. No follow up by Lithia. Beware, beware, beware......if you want your vehicle repaired correctly Lithia IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO! I will never give any of their businesses any of my money

The damage was corrected, but the car wash I could have done without. Looks like they lathered it up and left it in the sun to burn into the paint. Ive clay and buffed it twice now and it still hasnt all come off. The detailing manager said it looks like natural wear and tear on the paint, even through rubbing it showed it was some kind of residue. He just stared at me and my dad refusing to help us until we took the car and left. Nice job mate. Heres a nice 0/5 review, Lithia.

I wanted to have a good experience here but so far the whole thing has been one mishap after another. Since im so angry about all of the things that have occurred im just going to leave it.First, i couldnt get an appointment for 1 weeks after my accident.Second, was told it was going to take a month for the repairs.Third, The wheel on the side of the car with damage wasnt removed to inspect to see if there was damage.Fourth, after picking up the car which took only 2 weeks instead was good but upon initial inspection there glaring errors around the car. They included a completely scratched up brand new paint job, a misaligned hood, the car did not do any type of audible feedback upon locking, and they did not change the outside temperature sensor.Fifth, i had to take the car back and leave it all day so they could fix it.Sixth, i went to replace washer fluid in the reservoir and low and behold more issues. The reservoir fill neck was not secured and there is another panel that isnt secured. So i have to take my car back yet again to get looked at and then leave it and then pick it up.Save your time and frustrations, stay the hell away from this auto body shop.

So far my vehicle has been in the hands of lithia autobody shop for NEARLY a month for a simple wheel suspension fix. Brought the car in on recommendation from my insurance company and was promised email/text or call updates. I guess you cant recieve updates id there arent any. Supposedly they had the parts 3 days ago. I call on Friday and they tell me they are waiting on another part and claim shipping times to ALaska. We dont live in the dark ages anymore, we do have 2 day expedited shipping and I find it hard to believe any work has been done. Not only has my experience with their auto shop diminished my trust and view of their work, but of all of Lithias services. In comparison I took my vehicle to Able autobody a few years back. Not only was the work excellant, but they communicated with me and finished my truck within less than a week. I wont buy another car or truck from Lithia, I will never trust them with insurance work and I just cant reccomend them. I am terribly dissappointed.

If I could give zero stars I would. My car was towed to them via my insurance company. I called twice on Monday, and never got a call back. Tuesday morning I called twice and finally got through. I was told that I needed to sign an authorization for work form. Yhey emailed it to me, and I noticed that I was signing over limited power if attorney. I didnt sign, and decided to go into the office. I arrived Wednesday morning and asked for update with my car. At thus point, I hadnt even gotten an estimate. They told me that they didnt even have my car, that they dont do mechanical repairs and they towed my car to Lithia Hyundai. I asked if the insurance company was aware, and they said yes. I then proceeded to call State Farm, and my insurance company was also completely in the dark. After State Farm talked with them, my insurance company then explained that they needed the authorization form to allow Hyundai to work on it. Cool. I sign the form, and go about my day.Thursday, I call for an update.... nothing. Friday I call for an update, and they tell me they have no information. My car could be done today, it could be done on Monday. I ask for estimate on the price and they tell me that they didnt have that information either. I ha g up with them, and decide to call Hyundai. I spoke to the NICEST associate who told me that my car was picked up by Lithia Auto Body two hours ago! He also informed me that he sent the work over at 8:00am that morning.I called Lithia auto back and demanded to jnow what was going on with my car. Kelsey told me again that she had just spoken to me, and that they had no information to give me about my car. I told her what Hyundai had told me. She was taken aback that I had spoken to them, and obviously displeased. She told me that that my car was PROBABLY at the detail shop then. I hung up and xalled my insurance company. My insurance company looked for answers on the whereabouts of my car for 3 HOURS. i finally got the call from my insurance company that it was in the detail shop.I called Lithia an hour later, and they then told me my car had JUST arrived. When I arrived My car had scratches abd dings on it. I also had a temporary tag from the DMV which was lost. Oh and they charged me a $68 dollar tow fee because they towed my vehicle to Hyundai without telling me.Terrible service, terrible work.

The estimate process was fast and friendly; however, the trouble began after I left my car for repairs. I was quoted a three day time frame; two and a half weeks later, I at least have my car back but the paint job is sub-par at best. In addition, I now have new scratches and gouges around my window and door frame where they attempted to take my car apart five times to try and get the paint correct and my running board now sports some of my cars imperfect color. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!

The manager, Rob, is unbelievably rude. I only went there because I had to, (thanks Geico) and because of this mans behavior, will never spend a red cent with Lithia.If he is rude to you too, call Brian Osterhaus (sp?) At the corporate office in Oregon. He likes to hear about Rob and his unprofessional behavior. Also, Kevin at the Ford location is his boss and mentioned that Robs behavior is a known issue.The body work they did was ok. Its the only reason they get 2 stars.

They never me or my insurance to inform us they had received my car from the tow yard in Kenai. I had to call the tow yard to find out where they towed me car to and when. My insurance was calling me asking if I have heard anything from the repair shop I said no I didnt even know it had gotten towed there yet. Took almost 3 weeks to get an estimate that was after they already started repairs they have been waiting on a part for 2 weeks there agents need to start contacting there customers and inform them of whats going on.

They listen to what I wanted and was able to come down just enough on the vehicle I wanted so that my pre-approval letter from my bank was all I needed to get the vehicle the same day I came in. Plus I was still able to use my handicap plate from my last vehicle.
