I ordered fabric online and it was a breeze. I also called in to add to my order and they got it all in one box on its way to me. Shipping was quick. It arrived in 3 days. These ladies are fantastic!

Fabric choice isnt what it once was and organization was a bit chaotic. The lady at the cutting table was fast, friendly and efficient. Pretty good sized selection, just not my favorites.

Made my first trip to this place on a recommendation from a friend. Planned to buy a few thing but when I walked in, nobody acknowledged my presence. I thought maybe they were just busy, as retail people are. Then I made clear eye contact with at least two employees, still no greeting or offer of service. If I was an overweight middle age white woman I might have had a different experience, they were feeling all the love while I was in there. I’ll head over to the Quilt Tree and get what I need. Should have know what I was walking into when I saw $10k sewing machines that close to the hillside. Ima head out...

Excellent store! They have beautiful fabrics (including unique Alaska designs), all kinds of sewing notions, and supplies and the classes they hold are a blast! If you know anyone who loves to sew, gift cards from Seams Like Home are a major hit!!! :0)

I am not happy with my experience there with the owner regarding the disappearance of my published quilt. Her actions indicate a complete lack of respect for all quilters. There are better quilt shops in Anchorage.

Debbie and Jean were a great, great help to me. I had a an embroidery project that I needed a lot of coaching for. They spent time to get me through my lack of knowledge and confidence. I have loved this store ever since forever and bought a Bernina Artista 730. The best part of this shop is the courteous and thought for assistance. I had to get additional help for a couple of problems I encountered the day after. Jean was amazing. What he doesnt know about Berninas and embroidery would cover the head of a tiny pin! He was right there for me and so very friendly about helping....THANK YOU!
