We visited the Alaska Mint a few years ago and I bought a beautiful ring there. Since that time I have bought a medallion and some Christmas ornament medallions, a necklace. A few days ago I bought a ring from them and Mike called to get my ring size. They have always been so nice. Today I received my ring with a gold nugget in it and I absolutely love it. They have things that I can afford all the way up to things I cannot 😀. Everything I have ordered has been wonderful quality and just beautiful!!

They have A LOT of products. From knives to ornaments to jewelry and coins it can be found here. However, I felt like I was being followed by a staff member. Everywhere I went, they were there telling me about the products. If I have a question, I will find you and ask. I didnt buy anything because of this.

I live in California. I wanted a replacement wedding bands for my husband. I wanted something different, something that nobody else has has. I decided on a raw gold nugget ring. I shopped a lot of jewelers including Alaska. I decided to work with Alaska Mint located in Anchorage. The ring was designed and made by a local man. Have recently started stacking silver and I came here first to start and I was not disappointed! Great selection of investment grade silver and gold! The staff is amazing, helpful and very friendly! I visited here a few years ago on a trip across AK. Out of all the jewelry shops Ive visited across the US this is my favorite. The selection of fine pieces of jewelry here are amazing. I bought a beautiful ring here for my wife. They also mint coins in Precious metals such as silver and gold. They are truly a peice of art. I look forward to my next trip here.

Took my mom there on her last trip on her bucket list. Missed getting to see Mike Robuck as he was out of town but fun bit of trivia is that we played together in a nationwide high school band that toured Europe in 1980 and we played in Carnegie Hall! Best customer service anywhere! We bought a Gold Nugget Bear pendant on our visit to Alaska Mint and several months after returning home a small piece of gold came off and was lost. Ben From Alaska Mint helped us get the item returned and repaired under warranty. Fast friendly service. We will buy again from Alaska Mint.

Stopped by to have one of my State Coins cleaned. Everyone was so helpful and the service was great! While I was waiting I browsed all their estate jewelery and some of it was amazing! Ill be back to look again!

We purchased several items from the store and one item and very happy with the purchase only to find out several days later the chain on the necklace had turned from gold to a nasty metal (the item was valued at over ($US360)l. The metal necklace leaving stains on my skin. Initially there was a lovely chain on the necklace but was a bit short so they graciously exchanged of for a longer one (we did offer to pay extra). I contacted the store immediately on my return home back to Australia 2 weeks later and their reply was the chain was not included in the purchase price (well why was one there in the first place!) and if I wanted another they would happy sell me one also blaming staff. Total rogues and I would not recommend purchasing from there.

As a travel Agent:I was here in the past and it was quite interesting. Plenty of coins and artifacts from Alaska. The kids enjoyed it about 15 years ago. I recently came back in 2013 and everything changed. The staff was snotty and unwilling to help. I asked for certain coins from Idiatrod and was told, not here. They didnt seem to want to try and give any more info. This was a bad experience.

Whenever I hear that someone is going to visit Anchorage, I tell them to make sure to stop by the Alaska Mint. Unique items and filled with pieces that belong in a museum. Friendly staff and a fun atmosphere.

I stopped in here to pick up a medallion with wolves on it and I walked out with wolves howling at the northern lights. It is a definite keepsake my new house.
