Their techs have always worked with me to make sure Im getting exactly what I need and always offer for me to return the part if it were to not be an exact fit for my year/model. The service at Strickland is awesome. My trailer tires were stolen off my boat trailer while fishing on Saturday 10/05 on lake Hartwell. I made a phone call to the guys at Strickland and explained what had happened. Brandon in parts brought me everything I needed to get the boat trailer fixed on his way home from work. After hours and was very friendly and helpful. Its hard to find a company that will go out of there way to make sure there customers are taken care of but these guys do whatever it takes. Thanks to everyone who helped especially Brandon. Great job guys..
Quoted a price and bill was more than agreed due to work completed that was not approved. Owner stated he would look at invoice, responded stating they did overcharge and yet 3 months later we have yet to see a refund. After multiple attempts to speak to owner, he is now not responding and for me, it is the basic scenario of no customer service after the sale. They acknowledged over billing and yet it is the consumer that has to keep calling and following up with no resolve.
I purchased a new engine for an older pontoon boat from Strickland and it was a good experience. The staff was friendly and nice and they even filed my rebate for me and took it off the purchase price. I will bring my boat in a week or so to get everything installed. I will update at that time if anything changes.
It would just like to give a shout out to Chris and all of the team at Strickland Marine. I purchased a new boat from them last month and the whole process was quick and easy. I had damage from a storm to my top and took it to them last week (a week before July 4th) and they ordered the part and had it ready to go so I didn’t miss anytime on the lake. Have taken it back several times for accessories to be installed and I am in and out quickly and for a fair price. Customer service is top notch as well as product knowledge. If you buy your boat anywhere else you will regret it. Thanks Strickland Marine for being the best boat dealership in the Upstate.
Took the boat there for service and not sure what I even got. They tried to over charge for me for things they didn’t even do to the boat. The service says that they check all battery connections and make sure they are good yet mine just slipped right off the battery when I got it back and the connections are still corroded and all need to be replaced. Save yourself the trouble and money and go somewhere else!!
Im out of state at this time but my fiancee needed some parts for his boat. He dealt with the Anderson branch of Strickland Marine. He told me that they had to order his parts and they would call him when they came in. They called a few days ago for exactly that. He was unable to go get them himself so I called to see if I could use my credit card over the phone and also have them mailed to my fiancee. The people there were just wonderful. From the gentleman that completed my payment transaction, sorry I forgot his name, to Elizabeth who emailed me the invoice, payment, the tracking number for the package and when it should be delivered. I feel as if I were doing business with family, the way that everyone went above and beyond, especially Elizabeth. Thank you! Strickland Marine. We will be doing more business with you.

I will not going back to this place. They called me yesterday and advised they started working on my boat. I brought my boat in for a yearly service in reference to the engine and trailer. I had a couple lights out and just needed the oil changed. Total parts = $83.89 and Total Labor cost= $418.80 Shop supplies $15.00 and sale tax 5.87 A grand total $523.56. It blows my mind they would charge this much for Labor. I would look other places so you don’t get suckered like I did. Truly dissatisfied. I will never go back. Trust me don’t go to this place.

A few years back, wife stopped in to buy motor oil from Strickland for a mechanic to use to service my boat at the house. He also brought his own oil, purchased at WalMart. We returned the Strickland oil, since they charged 2 1/2 > 3 times the price of WalMart. So, Ive never had a warm fuzzy about the place since.Despite that, I called today to get an estimate on oil / filter change; lower unit oil; impeller; new battery, general maintenance .... was guessing about $300 +/-.Lady answered the phone and said the service dept. could shoot me a quote, please hold. I sat on hold for over 17 minutes ... no one picked up and asked, do you want to continue to hold, or can I take a message and have someone call you? ... nothing but hold music, and zero customer service.I called back to advise Id never use a business that treated their customers that way. Guy said, sorry, were busy this morning (Friday @ 9:00 am ??). If youre one of the idiots making these guys busy, shame on you!
My husband and I blew out our wheel barings on the way to Hartwell and they fixed us up! We were still able to enjoy time out on the lake!

My family and I have been bring our sports boat and SeaDoo here for almost 20 years... We received our SeaDoo back from being serviced in perfect condition. However the person who worked on it forgot to put the two plugs back in, this, as you can guess, caused the SeaDoo to sink about a foot into the water. When we were able to bring it out of the water, we noticed the simple error that could have been resolved by just remembering to screw the plugs back in. When we took it to Strickland early the next day, both and employee and the owner were BEYOND disrespectful. They claimed that it was our fault and that we didnt take care of our SeaDoo, also in an angry rant they claimed that any damage done during the time it was submerged they would not cover in any way because it was our fault for being stupid enough not to check the plugs. Plugs we didnt even know a SeaDoo has because weve NEVER touched them. My family and I are beyond hurt that a business that we have supported for so many years is now completely customer UNfriendly.
