I called to have flower beds altered for spring. They said earliest they could show up for a quote was June for a Fall plant. If you need 9 months to do a quote you have serious constraint problems. And I am so tired of hearing how Covid is affecting your business. Your plants arent coming from China and if they are I wouldnt want them. Hire some people. Run some more crews. You got no excuse. I wont be using them but obviously they dont want my business anyway.

Gary, the owner is fantastic. His initial interview he is always on time, takes the time and patience to review and discuss your request, ( never acts like he is in a hurry to get to the next job) does a thorough exam, and provides the recommendations and estimated cost. He tries to implement what you see as the result and the outcome is beautiful. I have used him twice and his price is well worth the quality and outcome. He always came each day by to talk with his workers to make sure the project is going as planned and to address any issues He never leaves until you totally satisfied. It is good to see someone who cares about a satisfied and happy customer- you can tell he is proud of his company! The only negative- he is in high demand and this plus weather you may have to wait an extended time before he can start on your project- you must have patience!!!!!

Avoid Collins Landscape at all cost. The used car salesman of landscaping . Dishonest / misleading. Collins purposely shorts the product you order with their miniature scoop size. And once their delivery truck dumps at your site and you immediately realize that you were misled, youre stuck. Their Driver claims ignorance, admits something doesnt look right, takes multiple pics, and recommends you call the office as he drives away. The owner Gary Collins is, of course, unavailable / unresponsive for days and the managers response is to ask if you want to purchase even more. LOL. They, after the payment and delivery when questioned, suddenly report they use a smaller Special Scoop Size than you will find at almost any other supplier (their scoop magically weighs your product... not a Yard but their version of a guesstimation ton scoop. Yep not a Yard scoop that otherwise is the industry standard.) And you end up severely shorted with rock weighing 1.3 to 1.5 tons per yard scoop costing you and profiting Collins big bucks. So, when Collins is trying to sell you Scoops, you better get in writing that its not a cooking scoop or a news reporter scoop. Dont trust them. Dont pay in advance.Watch Them closely when loading your purchase... or Simply save yourself and just shop somewhere else.SHAME on you Collins Landscape of Anderson

I had them put a patio and fire pit in the back yard. They did a great job. We did have to communicate a lot, they were very good about listening and working with me.

I have always had a good experience with Collins Landscape. They always have what I need and I usually can get in and out quickly. The staff are friendly and helpful. Most of the staff have good looking lifted 4x4 trucks to look at also in the event you have to wait for a product. Highly recommend Collins Landscape. Gary is a great guy.

Id LOVE to know where people are finding a better price on mulch and other garden amendments. These guys have stayed open late a few minutes when we called and said we were on the way; we were in the middle of a driveway repair after a severe rain and needed gravel urgently. Their prices are competitive with Discount Bark and you get about the same amounts, and these folks are better to deal with.Good people, good to deal with,, good products.

Great experience. The guys did a lot of work at my home to remedy a drainage problem. They put in a french drain and landscaped as well. I have been getting mulch from these guys for years. I am sure I will continue to work with them in the future.

Their Cypress mulch is actually a blend of cypress and pine mulch (which you find out ONLY after asking the question) and they do not know the percent of cypress but are charging a price that is typical of full Cypress. Im going to guess 5% Cypress, 95% Pine until they clear it up on their website. In the meantime, there are better sources out there for getting mulch.Nothing like false advertising to improve your business....

I actually had an awful experience with Collins. I met the owner Gary at the small Anderson Home and Garden Show the first few days of March, and scheduled an on-site consultation a week later where I paid the $70 design fee. A week after that, an assistant called to tell me by the end of the next week Id have my detailed proposal. After waiting for that additional week, I received nothing, and I left Gary a note inquiring about my project status. The note I got back said the company had received many project requests in the 2 weeks AFTER THE HOME SHOW, and because of the new workload, they could work with me in the fall. So I waited a week for an on-site appointment, paid my fee, waited 2 weeks for a proposal, and then was told so much business had come in behind me that fall would be a good time frame to start on my project. Now Ive wasted a month waiting on Collins and am starting all over finding another reputable landscaper who might actually start working now.

Ordered 3 pallets of bermuda grass. Was worried about the quality at first, but after laying it and watering, fertilizing... The grass has done wonderful. I have used them for several other projects. Mulch, Sand, and now Grass... I will most definitely will use them again.
