Absolutely a great experience from the beginning. Blair, Mark, Ricky and everyone else we werent able to directly meet were outstanding. Informative, helpful and knowledgeable - there hasnt been a question yet they cant answer, and everything was completed with care and precision. Will be a great summer and many more to come with this pool! Highly recommend this team to anyone!

Purchased a hot tub from them and Evan was fantastic. Due to the lack of inventory because of covid he kept in constant contact with us and when it came into store it was delivered within 48 hours. Hands down the best customer service experience we have ever had! Mermaid recently put in our inground pool and we couldnt be happier! Blair, Mark, Ricky and their entire team were phenomenal and made the entire experience so enjoyable! The entire staff is transparent, honest, friendly and your satisfaction is their priority. After looking at several other companies before finding Mermaid, as soon as we talked to them, it was incredibly clear that their customer service and the experience we would receive throughout this entire process would absolutely beat any competitor. We cant say enough great things about this company- there is simply no reason to look anywhere else- Mermaid is the best of the best and would highly recommend them!!

Always fast and friendly service. I brought pool water in to be analyzed. They were fast and explained everything patiently. I was able to purchase what I needed and be off to my pool. They explained how much I needed for a pool my size and answered my questions. They have a repeat customer in me.

Since we first had our pool put in brand new its had nothing but wrinkles in the liner, after taking forever to get it finished! They only worked a couple of hours a day. Very high prices on everything!! Put in 2013 and liner has been lose and falling on sides for several years. Do not recommend Mermaids, like a nightmare 😠

Ive always gotten good advice from the personnel at the Anderson store. They always have time to answer questions . . . and they are courteous and friendly. I have been dealing with personnel in this store for years and highly recommend them. Also, this stores carries quality products at a fair price.I have dealt with several pool stores in the last 30 years, and this one is the best.

The employees here are the BEST, they have helped me keep my pool and spa crystal clear. There has never been a bad or less than great experience. I feel I am always treated with a can do attitude, and Mark is helpful in finding what I need. Thank you!

We hired Mermaid Pools to install a new inground pool liner. We paid for half of the cost of the liner up front and we were given a place on the list and an approximate date of when the liner would be installed. They missed their approximate date by a few weeks.Once they did install the liner there was an obvious leak. We have been trying to work with Mermaid and have been extremely patient while they have attempted to find and fix the leak. This process has been going on since August 20th, 2018 and the leak still has not been resolved. We have been a loyal Mermaid Pool customer for about 10 years and I can honestly say our loyalty is about to change.I am happy to share all of our email correspondence that was sent to/and from Mermaid and myself with any potential customers to show the validity of our complaints. At this point we are being made to feels as if we have done something wrong. I am not a habitual complainer or someone that gives unsubstantiated reviews and this is a honest, fair and well deserved review.

Just looked around, salesperson came over after about 2 minutes of looking, let us know they were ther and left us alone to look. They were close by where we could see them if we needed, but didnt follow us around, or try to make us buy anything. Enjoyed looking and will go back.

All your hot tub needs

Mermaid winterized my hot tub, but when I opened it this year the spa has a serious leak. They had no problem winterizing it but refused to repair because I didnt buy the spa from them. Not good.

Very helpful and friendly. Admitted that she wasnt very familiar with permanent salt pools. I hope chlorine doesnt hurt anything.

This is, arguably, the LEAST professional company it has been my misfortune to ever work with. They dont answer phones and they dont answer voice mail messages. They rent pool cleaning robots with standard debris filters when you specifically ask about the sand and silt, which left us with a cloudy pool when it all got stirred up, right before our big cook out and family pool party with family from out of state. They did refund my rental fee, but it still wasted two trips and left us with a pool that was embarrassingly cloudy. Also, they cant or wont schedule services! When you put in a service call, they ring you the same day saying We can be there in about an hour! This has happened to me at least 3 times in the 2 years since I bought a house with a pool. I will revisit that in a bit..Most recently, I had questions about upgrading my pool pump and filter and had an absolutely ridiculous time getting anyone from service to EVER answer the phone or the voice mails Id left. I ended up calling the Muncie store to ask for a Manager. She apologized and got the head of service to call me the next day to answer my questions. Typically, after requesting the installation, I got a call the day of. Installation got put on hold (through no fault of Mermaid Pools, it was due to an out of the box part issue) and once I had the part and got them back out to the house, which was a chore all on its own, they left me with a small leak on my outlet house from the filter to the heater. I called on Thursday or Friday of that week and had to leave a voice mail again as no one answered. THIS time, a young lady returned my call the following Monday. She said they werent to busy due to unusual rains and that I should expect a call soon. Well, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday all pass with no contact. They call me Friday, saying they were just finishing a job in a town near me and could be there in around 30 minutes! As I was on the road to Chicago for an 18th birthday weekend for my son, I requested he tell the office to please call me back early the next week. NO call for over 2 weeks and no reply to multiple voice mails, nor does anyone answer at the Anderson store after multiple tries. I called and left a message with a young man for the Muncie store Manager yet again. I explained the whole thing and she first apologizes and tells me that she tried to call the service department before returning my call and that she couldnt get through to anyone.IF a store manager cant get service on the phone, what hope does the average customer have?Anyway, she assured me that she would be in the Anderson office the next day and that she would get some answers for me and that someone would call me yesterday. I also requested a chat with ownership over my experiences. No call from anyone yesterday like she promised and NO calls today nearing the close of business.I was only putting up with this because I thought I didnt really have any other choice in my area. I now know that there IS another major Pool and Spa company in Muncie, IN. I gave them a call to ask a quick question and the phone was answered immediately! From now on, THEY will be getting my business. However, Mermaid WILL be coming back to fix the prior installation as it never worked without leaking and they know it. I will be filing BBB, Indiana Generals and Federal Trade Commission complaints as well. I have now been waiting almost a full month for them to fix the leak from their installation and no one will even return my calls!My time is valuable, but they arent respectful of that fact at all.
