The store could use a good cleaning and some of the products are questionable on the authentification of the products... Staff is not that friendly but everything in store is a few bucks at most.... I will absolutely be back....

I love King Dollar and Im no dollar store fan because you often get what you pay for. I regularly find brand name products that you would pay MUCH more for in other stores. One example was a LOreal lipstick that I bought for $7+ and the very next day I found the exact same brand, color, packaging, everything at King Dollar! If I hadnt opened it and used it I would have returned it..lol Its not all junk, they actually have some quality and name brand items. A great place to find hand tools and hardware also. As well as office supplies, spices, snacks cleaning supplies, all kinds of stuff. Its worth walking through the whole store. You may spend more than you intended but you would have paid AT LEAST triple if not far more money to buy all the same items elsewhere.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! We have been shopping here for years. We make the 20 mile drive just because we enjoyed browsing the isles with our kids. Yes, the stuff might be old, but there was always hidden gems at a discount in this store and we enjoyed talking to the man who owns it. Needless to say, I won’t be making that drive ever again. WE HAVE NEVER been treated the way we were today. Not only is the woman who works there rude, she decides to charge you whatever she wants after explaining to us everything is a $1.39. When we calmly questioned her about the price difference and began to count the items with her, she said, “I refuse you service!” and snatched the items from us. My husband and myself have NEVER been refused service in our great USofA. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUISNESS! I’m all for shopping small, but this is one local business that won’t ever get my money again… and I suggest you guys read other reviews because it looks like I’m not the only one who thinks this way.

King Dollar is an Excellent place to Shop for a Variety of products;clothing, hygiene, household cleaning, plumbing, carpentry, and recreational goods and supplies. Variety(and the price is right during these Pandemic times) is The Spice to preserve life as we have known it. You can not find a more economical store to shop at!

Terrible service. I didnt know the price wasnt $1 so the man said $1.39 for some items but couldnt tell me prices for a hat and other things. He and the lady got very upset and rambling on that they couldnt afford to be everything $1, you would go bankrupt, and I asked well how does Dollar tree stay open then? Once I learned certain items were $1.39, he rang up 15 of these items and total me $28.69 was my total. I didnt understand how he got that amount? Then I asked again about how much was the hat and he said it was more because the items in the front entrance belongs to another owner but I explained I didnt get the hat from the front entrance and he became more flustered and proceeded to tell me well we ran out of space so sometimes we have to put that stuff with our stuff.??? So I explained then how would a customer know that? He basically wanted to ring everything up as a bundle and swing me a total somehow? I dont know but I loved going there until now. I havent been there in a year and wasnt expecting any of that. Last time I was there I didnt encounter this. They were yelling and very angry that I questioned anything and the lady pointed up at the wall and said theres the sign showing $1.39 plus tax... So.... On the wall on a small blackboard written in white chalk there it was in a not so obvious spot. So my thing is this, I asked why not put signs up where customers understand your pricing ? I explained I cant afford to just pay whatever they throw at me, I dont think its fair to walk around there store thinking I am getting things for a $1 or even $1.39 just to get to checkout and have an exaggerated total that isnt explained and if you ask they become infuriated. I apologized and said I would have to put my items back and I would have went to Dollar tree instead had I known that their pricing was this way and the man snatched my stuff and said its fine and they both yelled telling me go to Dollar tree then! And the woman said open your eyes the sign says $1.39! I apologized again and me and my 11 year turned to leave embarrassed, and told her that my eyes are open but you need to be honest and not treat people this way. They were so rude. I honestly was floored. I have no problem paying 1.39 but not paying whatever they just come up with at the checkout. I mean if youre a wheel and deal I understand but advertise that you are. Dont let people shop and then encounter this at the checkout. I literally cried my eyes out in my car. I also felt bad because I honestly meant no harm. Im not sure what to think just sad it happened. I pray it gets better for them. I realized after looking at other customers reviews that I wasnt alone in this very same experience. I saw many good reviews but noticed people who experienced the same thing or similar even on You Tube.

I have been going here almost my whole life and I told my boyfriend to go here and first of all my boyfriend went up to a to the lady working and asked if they had frozen fries because some dollar stores do and she said does it look like a fast food restaurant to you then the women working accused him of stealing and she told another customer that “ look they’re just here to steal” And my boyfriend heard this is so insane I’ve neverPersonally heard this type of disrespect at a store ever

The lady running the register is rude and likes to lie and argue with the customers. It was better before when they had the nice man working,I shopped more often. The lady charge me more every time I come in. They say $1.00 but change without notifying the customers then say it always been price more

Variety of all things for your household to nick nacks and decorations....all kind of things to buy and inexpensive.

The place is very clean, and offers a variety of products. It is an excellent source of party favors for kids celebrations!

Not your typical dollar store. King Dollar gets merchandise from stores that have gone out of business, etc. They carry almost everything! Some items are of the dollar store variety, but the name-brand items are very good deals. They have a large inventory; however, it goes quickly. If you see something you usually pay $10+ for, you need to get as many as you can because they will be out of stock the next time you visit!The staff is very friendly...I really like them. I always enjoy just browsing to see what I find!

They have a lot of small things for cheap if your in a budget

Place was horrible. Customer service ruined the whole experience of the store. Bought 25 items and somehow ended up paying $40.00. I decided to go inside and ask about it and the lady was extremely rude when I went to ask & didn’t want to answer my question or bother to get off the phone. Then she continued to raise her voice at me when I was being polite and said RUDE things. When I decided to start leaving she decided to start telling my business to the ladies behind me when they didn’t even ask.

They are racist,rude and sell items that are broken.Then they have a attitude.All because you want to check to make sure what you are buying is not broke.Then they say they dont want to sell it to you. Everything they sell there is out of date or broke.

I wish I couldnt even give them one star they deserve no stars. The lady that works there is disgustingly rude and has no common decency.I have never been so disrespected as a customer in my life. I couldnt believe how the women was acting toward me and my children. I was in a simple trip to get a few things and was shocked in how crazy the lady was behaving. No shame.I have seen her on the news freaking out on other customers and I see thats how she really is. All I could do was stare at her wail she was throwing a tantrum and throwing the windshimes because she thought we tangled them when in a box They werent no even displayed. I have gone to that king dollar since 2012 and put up with loosing my phone there, there unorganized store(boxes everywhere on floor you cant even pass through), and sometimes useless items but I will not go there again. Most of there items are already broken or break fast.This isnt the only incident. Many people have told me they are extreamly rude to there customers. I will rather spend a little bit more somewhere else or go to another king dollar.

Ive found King Dollar chalk ful of all kinds of needed items at ridiculously low prices.That fact makes it a Cant Miss place(for me) to purchase necessities and some Wants.Other Dollar stores have similar items but, either the Prices are over a Dollar something( even in the $2 to $3 range) or theyre smaller sized.
