Was standing in the main aisle with a cart to get lumber waiting for my husband who was looking for self tapping screws for metal for 20 minutes looking at 5 to 6 different employees, not one ask my husband or myself if we needed help. 10 minutes after that he finally got some help. The rest of the store was good.

I was recently overcharged for an item that was marked different on the shelf. I went to the return desk to get my charge adjusted. The woman at the return desk was great under the busy circumstances at the time. To make a long story short, it took 40 minutes of my time before the situation was figured out. I was told by another department head that someone was bringing the correct tag to the return desk. They never showed. By that time I was fuming. By the way I was the only one in line when this started. I just decided to get a refund. I then spoke to the store manager. He said that this was the busiest day of the year. He did offer to give the correct price from the tag, which no one knows where it is now. I told him that the whole experience was unacceptable and I would probably never shop there again. Get it together, Menards Angola. 45 minutes of my life wasted.

I can find absolutely everything I need here for my home building projects. Theyre constantly running sales does save me money. They always have comprable products that are more in my price range.

We can’t help but notice that in the past we could walk around this store and never be asked if we needed any help. But walk in this store now and several employees are all over you for not wearing a mask and walk away not asking if we need help. This store needs help in educating employees and show more concern in helping customers instead of chewing their butts for not having a mask on. Wake up Menards the mask mandate is over!!

Asked 5 people where items were. Only 1 gave me correct location of 2 of 4 items.

Found everything I needed and I didnt have to walk the big box store 6 times.. It was busy so staff was busy so a customer helped me find what I needed a great big thanks to him.. I will visit again

Visited on 4/7/2021. Extremely unprofessional and rude staff. Ended up leaving without purchasing anything due to their unprofessionalism and rudeness. Went to Home Depot instead. Their team members are quite professional and very helpful. Atmosphere is the difference between night and day. 5 stars for Home Depot.

As a contractor, I have been to many hardware suppliers, nationwide. If I could, give Menards Angola, Indiana zero stars. I would. I was harrassed. I only hear bad things, in general of this location. Employees stand around and talk. Know nothing, of their jobs and only feel inclined to harass.

Today was the first time I had gone into Menards. I was looking for PVC pipe for a DYI chicken feeder project. I went in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted. To my surprise there are lots of choices for the joints. In a few minutes my niece & I had pulled out and put together a number of connections. Then an employee named Alec came over to assist. He actually owned 23 chickens. Had never used this type of feeder but stated another customer had come for the same exact items. Showed me what he purchased and asked how I planned on hanging the feeders. Then offered me a different solution, which was better than mine. He was the perfect assistant. Not rushed to get away from us, but gave us his time and knowledge. Thank you Alex for an amazing customer service experience.

Was immediately asked by the young lady if I had a mask? I told her I do not. She said I have some, she asked how many and I told her two please. I was then told they were .42 each. Wow! I understand being a private business and requesting people wear them in your store. What I don’t understand is the logic in pissing me off so I leave? My intent was to spend several hundred dollars in Menard’s. In the end it isn’t me losing.... Before we went in I made a comment to my husband how dead the parking lot was. Now I know why.

Lots to look at! Busy, alot of workers but could not get anyones attention near lawn and garden area! Had to find border stakes for garden. Finally found them. Cashiers awesome, friendly.

Typical Menards, everything good, knowledgable staff, easy returns, wide selection. Some grocery items. Cheapest place to get K-pod coffee cups. 80 for 17.99 or 19.99, depending on brand. Didnt give 5 stars as checkout is an issue. Need to learn how to organize area so lines can be formed. Been an issue for sometime now. Others feel same way.

Besides the fact that they are sooooo strict about wearing a mask its a good store. People had the freedom to make our own choice. I personally can not wear a mask longer than 15 because of my asthma. Being that I spend lots of money there. Im actually spending a lot less. Sad.

I love going to Angola Menards they are all so helpful and the lady that works in the paint department! She was so patient with picking out paint with my picky daughter love it we need more like her thanks again! And this Menards has a place to park to load your vehicle. ( defiance ohio dont)!

Minding our own business shopping and this loud mouthed manager told my wife she had to leave because she wasnt wearing a mask. Threatening to call the police she explained she has asthma and has a rescue inhaler so she cant breath out of them. I told him he just lost some good customers and he says he could care less. Went to Rule king and found the exact same plumbing parts I needed with friendly service!! Was in Lowes friday....felt welcome there!

Menards, I used to thank you for the best store around but you totally have changed my mind in the last month, a month ago we would have bought $300 worth of merchandise from along with our other building supplies in the future not because you embarrassed us asking us to put on a mask while we were already up at the cash register had been all over the store shopping that we couldnt buy our merchandise because I did not have a mask even though I wanted to pull my shirt up over my face it was not good enough, and lately Im sick and tired of not getting your supposed rebates and I look forward to my rebate but you continue to send them in an index card, postcard instead of placing them in an envelope, where someone can see what their rebate is thus,somebody is stealing our rebates we havent gotten 1467. 4 years and we had $100 rebate coming, today I almost ran out with $300 72. $372 in merchandise at the cash register in the lady complains I dont have a mask she runs to your manager and he comes up and tells me I need a mask, if I needed a math then why dont you have them at the door ready for the customers to use, this math thing has gotten out of control forcing people to wear masks because they believe youre contagious or they are thats my question, I like preference if I want to wear a mask I will if you want to wear a mask thats your choice but dont force your choices on me, and the master no different than wearing a shirt over your mouth in fact the mass dont even block the germs coming and going asthma where I cant breathe in The Mask if Im walking it overheat, but I was at the cash register already ringing out when he said get out, I said fine, lost my money my business and my attitude and Im going to spread the word if I want to wear masks in the United States its my choice to wear a mask just like the Muslims Karma do if I dont want to wear a mask cant wait till somebody ask you to stamp 666 on your hand, are you going to offer it up, say goodbye to this customer, after telling all my friends contractors is this personnel they dont intend to shop at Menards again either Home Depot or Lowes is the stores for us Menards you can take your cheap merchandise back to China

I would honestly rate this is zero if I could, I called human resources about an application I filled out in store about a week ago and was told that I needed to apply online, when I asked if I needed to apply online to get an interview if I can get one with my application that I filled out in-store she hung up on me. I called back to talk to another manager to ask the same question I was in transferred back to the same person who hung up on me and then I was screamed at and told that my application was gone which I was never told before, I do not think the person who is in resources at this point in time should be there considering she did not help me and yelled at me when I asked a simple question and I got hung up on multiple times.As a 17-year-old looking for a Jobs who is only had one other real job for two years so I am not filled out many applications and had questions to be hung up on it’s just downright awful. Would not suggest working there nor going there to buy things considering that is how they run their business.

Everyone was extremely nice. I was only needing a couple of things so I didnt grab a cart. Of course I always seem to find something else and the next thing I knew I felt like I was juggling. An associate quickly brought me a cart that was nearby. Several other associates I passed were also very friendly

The customer service is very unprofessional and the manager was very rude. You are better off finding the things you need on your own than ask an associate of theirs.

I went into your store i have breathing problems so i dont wear a mask yet one of your employees in the angola indiana store told me i cant be in the store without a mask. And cant buy anything. Tell me the difference between me seeing 4 employees with mask eithet below their nose or even 1 with it below the hole mouth. Way to chase my bussiness away. I left without buying anything and will not be back unless this is resolved. I was in there to buy stuff to roof my house, so add up all the materials i was about to buy and count that as a loss of sale to the employee. She embarrassed me in front of several customers and i am not ok with that. Home depot is not far from here i will go to that store later this week to spend my money. Sure did cost your company a big sale today, im glad your employees are health officals and police the customers. Look around many americans are not wearing masks, if your that scared stay home. I never been so embarrassed in my life

Bad Business Practices and Bad Customer Service. I ordered a NEW dishwasher online to pick up at the Angola, Indiana store, and when we went to curbside to pick up, the dishwasher was sitting on a wood pallet with no box or instructions or anything. They said it was a floor model display. This information was NOT online when I ordered it as I could tell and they were not going to offer any discount due to an open box item with NO warranty.... No thanks. We will NOT be using this store in the future as their misleading business practices are bad. If you look at YELP reviews, this Angola location seems to be notorious for bad customer experiences. No one there seems to care either....sad.

Masks are required right now, but they sell them for $0.99 if you forget yours. The staff was super helpful & nice today. And love that there is one rebate slip for all the rebates now!

Indiana is not under obligation to enforce face masks, however, I was turned away and even told they would call the police because I did not have a mask. No other store in Angola has treated me this way. I will never darken their door again. I used to shop there a lot. I won’t support any Menards anywhere, they have lost my business for life!!!

We moved to Florida last year and I miss Menards so much! The inventory is far better than Home Depot or Lowes when working on a project - plumbing department is far superior at Menards! The staff is top notch and right on when it comes to providing you direction. Prices are typically 20-25% lower than the competition when it comes to basics items - screws, bolts, plumbing fittings, etc. I would give anything to have them in Tampa!

Very impressed with the thorough way Menards is protecting us from spreading Covid-19. Requiring a face covering to enter and maintain 6ft distance. I suffer from PTSD so its been a real challenge to leave home for necessities and their diligence made my shopping experience less stressful and made me more confident and willing to return. Their employees were very helpful and attentive and necessities available, as well as expected. Well done Menards and staff!!! 😆

Good selection of lighting products. I needed a 100w incandescent bulb for an automatic outside carriage style lamp. Our standard 100w bulbs havent been made many years now. That bulb is currently available as a rough service bulb available at Menards.

Im handicap and so I have to use a motorized scooter to shop. Although the employee helping me to use the scooter was very kind and polite, both scooters were not starting even after being charged. Finally when I got one working it kept malfunctioning and stalling on me, ruining my shopping experience. I also could hear other employees who were stocking shelves yelling and cussing at each other in the store. The items I found were great deals, but when my scooter stalled again for the 50th time at the check out lane, the female cashier was very rude and snapped at me and told me that I shouldnt have used it if it wasnt charged all the way, despite the fact that the kind male employee told me it was charged. I felt embarrassed and upset. Now I dont want to go back, even though they had good deals. Horrible customer service!

The staff member I asked for help was barely helpful. When I went to check out there were 3 checkouts open with 6-7 customers in each line.

The Governor of Indiana gave 8 exemptions to mask wearing and menards is not following those guidelines either and allowing people their right.Each state that menards is doing business in needs to follow and allow exemptions and respect people with disabilities under the “Americans with disabilities act” ADAMenards is not above the law.

They are so good and reasonably priced, wish they were in Florida. They definitely beat the heck out of Lowes & Home Depot

Always love going to Menards. Seems like there is always something needed for the home or yard. Prices are pretty good on about everything. I buy things that generally are not on sale on the weeks they have their 11 percent off. Then use that 11 percent rebate to purchase things that are on sale.

The Angola store has really went down hill as far as customer service. Today I was very rudely told that the paint that they mixed wrong is not returnable. The lady at the desk said the would take it back if it was their fault, but when i was trying to return it she changed her mind. So i left the paint department a bit frustrated and went to get the trim that i needed. Surprise, the shelves are empty except for a few broken pieces. The last time i got this trim i ordered it, it took 3 weeks and still was not right... The only time I wasnt frustrated was when I was cashing out, the girl at the register was very pleasant. Otherwise Ill be going somewhere else for my stuff from now on. This has been declining for a while now.

Its a nice clean place to shop but the mask thing isnt good on people that have Copd it makes mine worse and have cough spells after wearing the m. I lose my breath and almost passed out.another guy was getting yelled at but me and another guy had are on the same way he did he has COPD also because of breathing .I was in same lane as the guy they were addressing. Two lane down was the other gentalmen.

Call up Menards to ask if I could shop at there store without a mask because of a medical condition. The person on the phone was rude and basically told me to go shop somewhere else. Well I guess I will never shop Menards again. You lost all my future business.
