I needed a Maryland State Inspection for a trailer on short notice, and John worked me into his schedule on a Saturday morning. He called me to let me know when he was available, and did a quick and professional job at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I got Great service for my Maryland State Inspection! John and his Crew were friendly and honest. I agree partially with the previous review that they did not invent any problems with my vehicle. But I disagree with the bit pricey. Maryland State Inspection costs are 1 1/2 times the shops labor rate. Maryland State Police regulate inspections to a hour and a half, but do not regulate a shops labor rate. So, not such a bad price for an inspection...mine cost $78.00 today...the above review was a year ago and it was $78.00 then.My guess is the above review came from someone who moved here from one of the 19 States that require annually or biennially vehicle inspections. Only Maryland and Alabama require a safety inspection prior to sale or transfer of ownership of a vehicle. Annually or biennially or a sale or transfer inspections are two completely different inspections.Whew! Anywho!!! Locklair Automotive were Awesome!

We had his car towed there after speaking with Mr Locklair three times the week prior. Only for him to respond why would you tow the car from DC? He knew where the car was coming from and we bypassed several mechanics between Annapolis and DC off the strength of a conversation we had with him. Three times The week prior. Then said he wasnt sure he could complete the work. When my fiance, frustrated, inquired as to why and what the deal was with all this back and forth, Mr Lockliar said he didnt like my fiances attitude. The tow truck driver who doesnt know any of us from a can of paint even said I dont think you should leave your car here. I wouldnt do it We ended up having his car towed to the dealership where he purchased the car and the work done there.Im baffled as to why there was such a negative vibe. I will not be back.
