Twenty years ago, I put in a Culligan water softening system. Last month when I called them to inquire on a new system, they looked up my account, and asked if I needed the service department. The age of the unit did not phase them. They are so confident in their systems, that they offered me repair before ever considering selling me a new system - which I bought, at a very fair price, and I look forward to 20 or more years of good, clean, soft water.Call these people - they are the original and still the best.

We had a service appointment this week for Culligan to come and take a look at our Culligan brand water softener that would no longer turn on. The technician came into our home, took one look at the water softener and determined that it would need to be replaced, told us he would contact the sales office and left. $161 for the technician to spend less then 10 minutes in our house and perform no work. Apparently $161 is the standard (base) service call fee and it is soon going up to $185? That is definitely something that should be communicated when scheduling a service call. It was not and it is apparently not ever communicated to anyone. Feel robbed. I mean I expected some associated cost...but $161 just to tell me I need to buy a new system? No.

We had our equipment installed by Andrell. He was quick and patient with me (I ask a lot of questions). He also gave me some great advice on how to protect the house from flooding and service on the equipment.

I have had positive results with all of my water softening needs with Culligan. They deliver salt on a timely basis and always service my water softener when needed. They will always answer any question you have about your system and try to assist you with any service needs.

This company is very personable. Before every delivery I get a text message from Natalia reminding me of my delivery date. I really like that, it means a lot to me. Even if the delivery date is going to be changed they still communicate and keep in touch. Customer service is a deal breaker for me. When I want to make a payment they take my payment immediately over the phone with no issues. Customer service is great and the water taste great. And this company has not disappointed me yet. Keep up the great work Culligan.

Scheduling the appointment was quick and the customer service rep was able to fit me in fairly quickly to fix my problem. The tech who showed up on the day of the appointment was friendly and knowledgeable, he was able to answer all my questions with ease, as well as give some helpful tips for my water softener unit. I was extremely pleased with Culligan Water of Maryland and would absolutely recommend them.

RO System and parts is too expensive for no reason. On top of that service is horrible. Every time I try to schedule a service I have to wait for a month. Once technician will arrive and in case you need a follow up appointment it will be another month. Technician will arrive but likely not have any parts handy. Expect no followup call from them for either service or sales. I had to call multiple times to get quote for tankless RO.

I called and received a call back from a woman named Cindy and she was extremely rude and disrespectful. I tried walking her through what was wrong with the system and she said “I’m not a technician and I don’t need to know what’s going on with your system” when I told her she’s being rude she proceeded to say she’s overworked. I told her I needed a technician to come out and the only day I could get a technician is a month from now because they only have two technicians serving the entire state. I then asked to speak to someone else and her name and she gave me her name and hung up (not even sure if that is her name tbh) I am seriously disgusting by the way she spoke to me.

Culligan Water of Maryland is the solution that I needed to get reliable delivery of 5-gallon bottles of distilled drinking water. I live in Washington DC. Culligan gives me credit for all the empty bottles, and charges me for only the actual number of full bottles. They come on the delivery date. They remind me a few days before the delivery date. Their staff members are pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful.

Our company switched to this water delivery service due to lack of consistent deliveries from our previous water delivery service. I can say the initial contact and setting up of the account was super easy and they accommodated us and got us our first delivery as quickly as possible. That is where the two stars come from. However here we are a month later and we were told we would have Friday delivery (didnt happen), then we were told we would have Tuesday delivery (didnt happen) and when we reached out to the company to figure out a way to get the water as we were completely out. I was told the delivery would be tomorrow. I had to call back 3 times to get a manager on the phone. When I asked if there was an emergency same day truck in dispatch I was told no and then the manager stated I dont own this company. Poor customer service and unreliable for timely delivery. If this is how they treat their new customers I would hate to see how they treat the established customers. We were told we would receive delivery today. This will remain to be seen.***** A driver has arrived he is fantastic has a great attitude and has made delivery a wonderful experience. Thank you Eddie W AKA Eddie 3

Horrible customer service. Called in for an emergency leak. Supposedly a tech was coming to look at the equipment. 5 hours later NOTHING. Their rented equipment is flooding the basement. Called in a second time about an hour ago. Promised a call from the tech to let me k ow when they are coming. NOTHING. Shopping for a better product.

Im so happy we switched to Culligan. I was having a horrible experience with Deer Park and after 10yrs with them I finally made a switch to Culligan. My experience so far has been a breath of fresh air. Ben delivered our water cooler and water this morning. He was very friendly and set everything up nicely. I would highly recommend using Culligan!

Very unprofessional, poor customer service, non existent return calls, and highway robbery prices to boot.I have been dealing with this company for many years and it always takes several calls to get a response on parts or supplies for my Culligan system. They used to be great when they were in Edgewater but since they moved, its been a nightmare. Its always the same old excuses, that person is out to lunch, I have to walk over to the warehouse, I have to talk to the operations manger, etc... I have voiced my displeasure with their poor service and lack of return calls numerous times over the years and they keep saying we have a new manager but nothing ever changes. I would have switched to another company years ago but I already spent many thousands of dollars for my system so I am trying to keep it going as long as possible to get a return on my investment. Due to Culligans strict territory enforcement policy, you can only get parts from your local dealer and this dealer charges twice the price for parts as another dealer and 4 times the price for fine calcite for a neutralizer. As an example, they charge $50 for a 50 pound bag and you can get the exact same calcite for $13 at Thomas Somerville just up the street. As a result, I dont even bother asking them for their salt pellets price.It am fine with paying a fair price for good service and support but when a company does neither, it make little sense. Look elsewhere!

In July of 2015 my wife and I had a new home built in Upper Marlboro. As first time water well users, we were oblivious to hard water, the sulpher rotten egg smell that sometimes occurs in water or high levels of iron in our water. We immediately called Culligan and had them come out and install a new water treatment and chemical drip system. For the last few years, everything has been working well. Yesterday I went into my basement and noticed that there was a leak coming from the chemical feeder. Because Im leasing my equipment from Culligan, I immediately thought Ill just call them and have them come out and fix THEIR equipment. Upon making the call to Culligan and after explaining my situation, I asked to schedule someone to come out and to fix the leak. I was immediately told that I would have to pay a $200+ service fee. Immediately I was a bit thrown off because I was never asked if I leased or owned the system. After explaining that I was leasing THEIR equipment, I was then told that it would be 7 days before someone would come out to take care of my leak. Again caught off guard, I reiterated, to the woman that I was speaking with that I have a leak in my water pipes, then asked and I have to wait 7 days before someone comes out?, her response was we wont send someone out for one call, we have to have other appointments in the area and we wont have anyone over there until next week. Come on Culligan, what sense does that make? Im not waiting for a NEW system, Im already using YOUR equipment! Im quite sure if the person that I was speaking to had this very same issue, she would have someone at her office at her house the very same day or at least the following day. My response to the person on the other end, this makes no sense then she proceeds to tell me that I can bypass that area on my system and Ill be fine. Thats not the point!! The point is having to wait a week for you all to have another appointment in the area is RIDICULOUS!! Who does business like that. I dont say, Ill wait to see if your other customers are paying their bill this month before I pay mine do I? Culligan your customer service HORRIBLE!!

Tow months in a row the Annapolis, MD location has messed our delivery. So much for convenience and good customer service. Now i have to go to the store and buy water just to get through the weekend. Very disappointed!

All the products are good quality, the service is very reliable, and the drivers are always very polite and nice. And this is considering that its a VERY long walk uphill from the parking area to our house, then down to the basement softener, yet always a smile while hauling those 40/50 lb bags! Steve Ranga was our driver today and he was quite delightful!

The team member/specialist (Deandre) who helped readjust our system provided clear explanations of our equipment, how it works, and resolved an issue with the softening tank. He was diligent in his efforts until the problem was resolved. The filtration system for drinking water works so well and removes all taste from our well water, especially considering its high iron content.

Culligan product is quite good and very reliable. Ive been a customer almost 10 years. Id like to explore other company, but I dont see any... After Flint Michigan and Chicago, and even more including Standing Rock, Nestles water greed, I think more people concern water safety now. I think business like Culligan plays an integral role to promote water safety more...

I wish I could give a higher review. Staff and service techs are all fine. Selling house and had an issue with a water quality test. Spoke to Branch Manager, and it all went downhill. He was rude, gave me a hard time when I tried to coordinate having realtor meet the service tech since I live out of town, then tried to charge for work that was covered by rental agreement for Culligan equipment. Cant recommend until they get some customer service training for branch manager.

I have used Culligan for many years, and have been pleased with their service of my Culligan Water System. Just recently, I had problems with my brine salt tank. DeAndre was very professional, explained what the problem was, repaired it, then tested the water with a test kit. He arrived on time. Culligan serves Calvert County too.
