Do not do business with this company, The worst experience I had with any local business in Annapolis. They did not finish my fence, Scott is horrible to deal with.They said they wont finish my fence. if you want it finished, sue me was his answer.This was a $12,000 fence.

I requested a free quote online, they made contact within the hour, set an appointment for later that afternoon, and had a quote the next day. Cedar fencing being a big investment, I checked his number against an online pricing tool, and it was right in line. So when American Fence called me the next day to follow up on their proposal, it was a no brainer. They were at my house about a week later with a permit and crews. Two days later, looks awesome!

My luck is not the kind most people want. A few weeks ago I hear sirens coming down the street, then terrible crashing, crunching and screeching right outside.... By the time I get downstairs and outside i see a car backing through what is left of my fence and dragging my grill and a beach chair that were hooked up under the front as well as some fence... He takes off down the alley, followed by the cops and me in hot pursuit on foot... It all comes to an end about a half a block away when he plows into a dumpster in Wawa and they box him in.... I get pictures, a report and a heaping helping of excitement.... Turns out, he was actually insured and legal and didnt flee the scene! A few days later I meet Troy from American fence and Chris from Stewart Lawn and Landscape who proceed to revamp a fair piece of my backyard, and a whole new fence because mine had long ago been discontinued.... Both guys helped me make my yard better than new, and It didnt cost me a nickel! Both crews did an amazing job of cleaning up the old mess and wreckage and leaving me with no work or worries... What could be better than that... I highly recommend both companies! Stan Mileski, Annapolis, MD...

I have found this company to do very good work, Not everything was as promised, but they followed up and they did a complete fence, Also my parents used them for chain link fence 25 years ago and as far as i know they are the oldest fence company in Annapolis Area

I am not happy with the finished product. The problem I feel is that I tried to contact Steve the owner and he has not returned my calls. It has been one month. I was hopefull we could tweek it to make it acceptable but the manager just tells me what cant be done and the owner doesnt return calls. I feel this company may work better with corporate companies BUT not with an individual homeowner. People walk past my fence and want to know what happened.

Good hard working company

Very undependable cannot guarantee repair work to be done I called up the company and talk to Joe and he put me off for a week I had contractors come over and pour concrete my back and they hit the gate track on the bottom I wanted American Gates Joe to come over and fix it he kept on putting me off day after day for 5 days finally I called them up and said forget it I got somebody to come over the next day if you want something done dont depend on these people to do it and plus they charge too much money he told me $200 for the repair and I did it for fifty bucks
