I had a wonderful visit at the Annapolis La-Z-Boy location. I looked at many different recliners for my bedroom. I finally decided on the one I purchased. The store was clean and you could feel the presence of friendly and caring people. We talked with other customers that asked our opinion and I think they enjoyed their time there too. Alan was amazing from the moment I walked in the door. He showed me perfect couches for what I was looking for. Although I didn’t make a decision that day he refereed me to the store Interior Designer, Lauren to finalize a floor plan and create a custom sofa. She came personally to my home to measure, see my vision and style. From there she designed the perfect sofa for my living room and was able to virtually show me how everything would look. I ordered the couch and cannot wait for it to arrive!

The chair I ordered was great once it finally arrived. I ordered the chair in October 2020 but it was not delivered until October 1, 2021. I understand shipping delays of materials to build the chair were impacted by Covid. But the main problem was no communication from the company telling me the delivery of my chair would be delayed. It was supposed to be delivered on February 14. That date passed with no chair and no call from La-Z-Boy. When I called them they said it would be delayed until July. July came and went no chair no call from the company telling me the chair had been delayed. When I called they said it would be delivered in October. This time it finally came. So my complaint is lack of communication from the company when the promised delivery date could not be met

Three gentlemen delivered our new lazy boy chair. They were very courteous regarding our property and home. They offered to transfer our old chair to the basement, which was a great relief to me. They set up the new chair in a very timely manner and made sure I was satisfied with the product. I have bought many LazyBoy items and will always begin my funiture search with them. Excellent company!

I had the best time in my in-store experience. I was driving by and decided to stop in. It was my first time being inside the store and I walked around after being greeted. No on followed me around when I said I was just looking. When I had questions the most delightful worker helped me (Allen). He was so helpful and I ended up making a purchase. The quality and selection of furniture was wonderful and we are happy with the recliner we received. My only complaint is the time it took to receive it. While the receipt/contract does state it may take 4-6 months for delivery, that was not made clear to me at the time of purchase. I got the chair in 3.5 months, and the delivery process was very painless and professional. All in all I recommend La-Z-Boy, but make sure you are aware of the timetable.

If you like poor quality furniture, terrible service and the runaround then look no further. My wife ordered the Aspen sectional from them, after eagerly awaiting 6 long months a giant pile junk arrived. It looks terrible, the seating surfaces are wonky and uneven, and it feels even worse. Andrew K gave us one phone call and an email, then he ghosted when he realized we didnt want the furniture. Even though i told them within an hour of it arriving that we didnt want it. If you post a review on their site it will never be posted, this is about an unscrupulous an operation as one can find, go elsewhere, anywhere.I went in today, my only means of recourse, and am awaiting a call from Store Manager Betsy. Next stop is a sign out front during busy weekends and a chat with the BBB.

We ended up working with Lauren their in-house designer. Lauren was helpful to give us suggestions for our awkward room shape and gave us all the time we needed to make our decision. We are still waiting on the furniture, but this seems to be an industry wide issue. Very pleased with our experiences.

I couldnt believe it when my partner said we were going to look a them for the new living room furniture. Store salesman was good in and out. I rated lazyboy a one star not because I had a problem in store but with the product, after a month of having the recliner the leg rest broke do to poor craftsmanship 2 screws fell out of leg rest and something else broke under the chair so it wont go up or down. If you can get it up then it becomes a pain to lower.

My daughter and I just went into La-Z-Boy just to take a look at sectionals. We were going to be buying something in the next 8 months. We were not in a rush. There we met Alan, who was so knowledgeable and friendly. You can’t help but like him. He took his time with us, even though he knew we were not ready to buy. He walked us through the store, answering all of our questions. There was a big sale on and I told him I would try to bring my husband back to look. We went back a week later and met with Alan again. He answered all my husband’s questions and we decided to buy right then. Alan helped us pick out our fabrics and suggested options for pillows. He does not give you the hard sell. He makes you aware of all your options and let’s you make the decisions. I highly recommend anyone in the Annapolis area searching for furniture to go in and ask for Alan. You will never regret it. Alan Schrum was our designer, and he was fabulous. He suggested options that we hadnt considered and that we ultimately purchased. Alan was extremely knowledgeable about all facets of what was available to include styles, comfort and functionality that would particularly appeal to our needs. His eye for design really helped us settle on the perfect fabrics for our new furniture that will ultimately fit into the decor of our room. In addition to all of the above, he is extremely personable, and dealing with him was a delightful experience.

Nice discount but another four months before deliveryOrdered chairs during this process chairs came as promised. Delivery crew did not have required tools to assemble. My dad and I did our research online ahead of time and already had a short list of rocker recliners I wanted to try. The showroom had a great selection on the floor, all well organized, and I was able to decide which one fit me perfectly. The showroom is bright and attractive, masks are required, and there is a hand sanitizer station just inside the door. Our sales person was extremely helpful but not the least bit pushy. From entering the store to having our order completed, we spent maybe 20 minutes. My chair was in stock, and I could choose delivery in 2 or 3 days. The day before, I got an automated call with my 3-hour delivery window. Delivery morning, I got an automated call AND tracker text 20 minutes before delivery, and the time estimate was dead on. The delivery people were cheerful, fast, and very careful. They were in my house for less than 10 minutes! My chair is perfectly comfortable, it’s beautiful, and it looks great in my room. I COULD NOT be happier with my whole Lay-Z-Boy experience. I think the chair might be more comfortable than my bed!

We visited the Annapolis, MD store & worked with Alan Schrum to determine the best recliner option for my bad neck. I knew going in that I was looking for a power headrest & was quickly shown to those. Alan was delightful & accomodating & willing to allow me all the time I needed to make my choice. Once I narrowed it down to three, he found out which we could expect to be delivered sooner than a special order. From start to finish our visit was quite enjoyable. Alan is thoroughly knowledgeable about every piece of inventory & is funny too! We’d be happy to have a glass of wine with him!

Ordered chair in Annapolis store 12/31/20. Was told by sales lady it would be ready for me to pick up from warehouse the 3rd week of January, that they would call me. February came and I hadn’t received a call. So I called them. The same sales lady said my chair wouldn’t be ready until 3rd week of March. I asked her when they were going to call me and let me know about the delay. She said they really don’t call about delays. Really!? Great furniture. Uninformed sales people that might exaggerate the speediness with which you get your furniture. Have to wait months for your order (with no compensation)!

The sofa is as expected. It took 21 weeks to receive the sofa. No special fabric, ordered as seen in the showroom. I was told it would be 12 weeks due to covid. That’s understandable. When the 12 weeks came and went I called and that’s when things went wrong. They put no plan in place for communication. The staff answering the phone in the showroom was obviously tired of calls from complaining customers. They were rude. That made me feel unsure I was ever going to get the sofa. Every week they would say it would be there next week. Just when I decided to ask for a refund it magically showed up. Do not pay in full in Advance. The sales person led me to believe it there would be communication and it most likely it would arrive earlier. As a result of the run around I received I am not likely to buy from lazy boy again. They can text me for a review but not on the status of the $2700 sofa. I am disappointed at the poor follow through and service .

Very disappointed with the customer service at lazyboy. We ordered our chair back in October. We were told it would be delivered by the first of January. We never heard anything at all about our chair being on back order. If my husband hadnt of called to check on the order we would have never heard about the delay. To which then we find out it is on back order again now till March. Which again we never heard fro lazyboy about yet again another delay. My husband called to find out when our chair would be delivered. Now we are being told May. The disappointment for us is that they never called to tell us of any status change and we paid the total amount for our furniture to which we already paid them and have been being charged for the furniture that we still have never received. Terrible customer service I will never buy from them again it was the worst experience and customer service I have ever had the experience of.

If there had been other customers waiting it -- wow -- might have meant lost sales. Went last night to purchase a new recliner. Hopefully bought a really nice power recliner. Time will tell the gentleman at the Annapolis store was great in showing us all the choices. A little disappointed the chair wont arrive until middle of June. But thats sort of the world we live in these days. 9-23-21 Never got my original chair and was told several different dates all which were never met. The last one was middle of November. So I contacted corporate through Facebook and they said they would reach out in 3 or 4 days. After the 6th day I reached out to them. They got back and said meet the original salesman at the store the next day. I go to the store today and he had 3 options for me to pick and get quickly as I am having shoulder surgery and can only sleep in a recliner I needed one sooner than middle of November. Both cairs were smaller than the big chair I bought yet they were the same exact price. So I chose a small chair and it will hopefully be delivered next Wednesday. So not overwhelmed with it all but hopefully its done and I can get a chair and move on.

I let her know we were just looking and she let us know what was on sale and any other pertinent info and then ACTUALLY let us look!! Everyone we dealt with at the Annapolis location was extremely helpful and patient. They gave us as much time as we needed, walked us through all our options and answered all of our questions. We have ordered La Z Boy before and have always been extremely happy with the quality of their product. We did opt for another brand with our last purchase. It was cheaper, but that certainly showed a few months after we purchased. The seams on our cushions started separating. The cushions never stood up straight. Of course after our warranty was up the cushions. Started falling completely apart. I’ll never buy another brand again.

I have yet to receive my furniture, but the customer service that I was given at the La-Z-boy from the gentleman in Annapolis was prompt and informative. He did a great job explaining the process of things as I was designing my Living Room Furniture.I can’t wait until November when it gets delivered!!! Good Job Dragan!!!!
