Very rude. Let the cables snap and the car came loose his tow truck went rolling across my yard hes chasing it. And lucky I had a metal post in my yard. My vehicle hit it and came to a stop and if I didnt it would have ran into my house.. very rude when I went to get my belongings. Wouldnt let me see my car or go to it. And already had my stuff packed in a box. And Im missing a brand new pair of jumper cables 🥺

They steal, they lie, Zero accountability. Be aware that the current rating is not all real customers. I have a recording where their own employee speaks on how they up charge people based off the type of car they two (so basically profiling). I have filed multiple complaints and if it weren’t for Covid, I would be in court but they have paused all “new case file”. Absolutely ridiculous, I would never recommend them!

After 60-years of driving, I had my first tire blowout on a heavily loaded used utility trailer that I was pulling home after making the purchase. Of course the spare tire rack was empty, so I was stranded on the side of I-20 late at night. I googled towing services in Anniston (the closest town to my location). I started calling down the list. The first two “local” numbers I called were actually routed to a national “towing locator” service. I had to leave a message. The next number was for Alabama Towing. As late as it was, I expected an answering, machine, but to my surprise, I got a very nice, knowledgeable, empathetic real live voice!! I gave her all the details and she said she’ll call me back, which she did in under 4-minutes. She told me Billy was on his way. This single axle trailer had a very uncommon tire size. When the tire ruptured, it blew out the valve stem. Billy came prepared, but neither of us expected the valve stem to be missing (we think the sun rotted stem is what caused the blowout). He had to go back to his shop on the opposite side of Anniston from my location, but it was amazing how quickly Billy returned and had me on my way. The rate was reasonable for all the work he did. I was very impressed with my first road side service experience. While Billy was working on my issue, I eventually (30-45 mins after my initial call) received calls or texts requesting additional info from the “towing locator” services I’d originally left messages with. Bottom line, if you want to deal with voice mail and texts instead of pleasant individuals who are working quickly on helping you, use the first two search results that come back! But if you don’t like being stranded at night on the side of three lanes full of 18-wheelers rumbling by mere feet from you and your vehicle, call Alabama towing first!

They were supposed to have picked up my car at 730 in the morning because I agreed to have it rescheduled so my vehicle wasn’t at the transmission shop over night. They never let me know that there wasn’t any notes of that being agreed upon. Said the insurance company cancelled the request and come to find out that was not true. Front desk lady said she would call me back after calling the tow truck driver and it was me that called her back an hour later to be given the false news. They also declined to assist me in towing of my vehicle when my insurance company reached back out to them. So I’m not to sure what kind of company they are running over there in Anniston but it’s obviously not a good one with my experience. Good luck to them.

Had a flat tire, wanted to get car towed to used tire company. Driver (Mickey) called to let me know ETA. When he arrived, he asked a few questions, then started troubleshooting. His expertise in tires was exceptional-I even learned a thing or 2 about psi! Good to see that GREAT customer service still exists in 2020!!

I was stuck in the middle of nowhere in the middle of Alabama with no spare tire. My driver (James) not only stayed with me but he went out of his way to make sure I got a tire that night and back on the road. Its good to know there are still individuals like him out there, awesome!

Blew a head gasket in Oxford Alabama and I live in Cullman. Called these guys and within 30 minutes Bill D had arrived with his and another 5 minutes we were on the road heading to my house. We travelled from Maine to Alabama and our car lost a coolant bypass plug on the highway outside of Birmingham. We called AAA and Billy from Alabama Towing and Recovery showed up an hour later. He called us every 15 minutes to update us on his arrival time. We were with two toddlers and he was very quick to load the car up and get us all in the truck. Billy took us to a local O’Reilly’s and he and my fiancé quickly fixed the car together. After a long trip, we couldn’t have asked for better service. Thank you, Billy!

Alabama Towing and Recovery made my car breakdown experience go as well as it could have. The staff is friendly, helpful, and INFORMATIVE. They kept me updated every step of the way with how my car was doing and gave me all of my potential options.After breaking down on I-20 I was pretty annoyed, I called AAA and waited in 24 degree weather. The next day they looked into my car and told me what the problem was. The price was reasonable and they explained well what needed to be done.Shout out to my man Joel who was there for me every step of the way and made my experience as pleasant as it could be. My daughter was stuck on I-20 outside of Birmingham AL, the first tow company AAA sent was rude to her so we sent them away. Although ATR had an issue with one of their tow trucks and we had to wait extra time on the side of the road it was well worth it. Cody was amazing, he is the example of excellent customer service. This has been the worse service I have ever receive from a towing company. The driver John put my vehicle in the wrong parking lot. Lied about how he had to load ny truck to get more from the insurance company. After calling to have it towed to a mechanic thats when I realized that the driver had placed it in the wrong parking lot. I called to see where he place my vehicle and thats when he stated that it was in that particular parking lot and cancel my tow to the mechanic. After filing a complaint with Allstate I asked them to send out another tow company they sent the same company which is Alabama Towing and Recovery. It took the driver John 5 hours to come and Tow my car to second time. When he got there he stated how my car was position I would have had to pay $70 outside of my insurance after he placed my car in the wrong lot. I was able to back my car out and have it position for him to tow it without me being charged. I followed him to drop my car off at the mechanics. At no time did he give myself nor the mechanic the key to my vehicle. He stated that he put the car in neutral but in order to do so it had to be crunk up and my car was never crank. After my car was fixed and I proceeded to look for the key it was nowhere to be found nor did the mechanic have the key. I followed him to drop my car off at the mechanics. at no time did he give myself nor did mechanic the key to my vehicle. he stated that he put the car in netural but in order to do so it had to be caught up and my car was never crank. after my car was fixed and I proceeded to look for the key it was nowhere to be found nor did the mechanic have the key. I tried to make calls on several occasions and never got an answer. When I was able to reach him on his cell phone he stated that he probably put it in the pocket of his other uniform . A store Colony Place of his job because thats what he said he had his uniform no one answered. when I finally did get an answer the person on the other end stated that they did not have my key stop calling then hung up in my face. I have to file a police report just so I can be reimbursed for my key. I did not feel valued as a customer and I felt very disrespected for the service that I received. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Henry and his crew performed an excellent job in restoring my Dodge Journey back to mint condition. Their helpfulness and honesty was a godsend.
