Pretty good place to go for bagels and muffins. Breakfast is served all day, however if you want greater options to select from, best to get there early. Personally, I go for the Nova Lox on Jalapeno Colby. It gives it an extra kick with a mildness of the cream cheese and saltiness of the smoked salmon. Their muffins are quite good too. Ive been to a few in the bay area, though i prefer the one in Brentwood, this place is good too. It looks like it belongs to the same owner.

Delish Asiago bagels! Everything is fresh but youve got to get there early.

It took them 3 times to get my lox on the correct bagel and 2 times for my wifes order on the correct bagel. My wife wanted different spreads on each half and didnt find out until later that they double charge for it. There was hardly any cream cheese on my daughters bagel. It might as well had been dry. It was such a frustrating and disappointing experience.

I love this place. Its the perfect fast food restaurant get a quick breakfast or lunch sandwich.

The bagel deluxe from here is delicious! I get the jalapeño Colby jack with bacon, egg and American cheese. This is my go to place for bagels, definitely recommend!

Great egg and cheese and bacon bagels

Very slow, four people serving behind the counter and all were talking to each other. One person before me was already served prior to me arriving. I stood there for what seemed like ten minutes. Three of them actually looked at me but still no service. Finally someone took my order only to find out that they were out of onion bagels at 10:30 in the morning. Really! You just lost a customer.

Once we found this place, we came back every morning until we left town. The bagels and coffee are really good. There are a number of choices and combinations that are available. The menu is on the wall behind the counter, it took a few minutes to make our decisions, so we did not get in line right away. The line moves quickly and there are plenty of frequent customers who know exactly what they want. They also can package your order to go, if desired. The orders come out quickly. There are quite a few tables and they dont rush you out. There are some comfy chairs that are used by customers who want to read a book. It is a gathering spot for friends in the morning.

They catered a special event for me and went over and beyond with their service. I was given a call first thing in morning on day of the event from staff letting me know the order was ready and delivery would be on time. They prepped the food at venue and called afterwards to reassure me all services were completed. It was a load off me knowing I didnt have to worry about that. I would highly recommend them.

OMG! Best damn bacon, egg, & cheese bagel Ive ever had. Really nice hometown/family setting in the restaurant. Food is prepared fresh in front of you, other dips and salads prepared fresh each day, and a massive drink selection (coffees, smoothies, juices, milks, teas). Would definitely recommend giving them a shot here if youve never tried it.

Our nurses at JMH enjoyed your warm bagels on a Sunday morning. However what made it better was that although your system was down, you sold us over a dozen bagels with a promise to pay. We appreciate your sincerity and you have become our go to location. Highly recommend for food and customer service.

Love Love Love this place. Food is delicious and fresh daily. Staff is courteous and professional. Location is a little off the grid and not so easy to just pull into but it’s worth that small bit of inconvenience. Store is also very clean. I definitely recommend it.

They offer the Salmon Bagel. which is your choice of Bagel and spread with Smoked salmon, purple/red onion, capers and tomatoes at $8.99 (dont remember exactly the cost) but I ordered mine open face. which is served on each slice the exact same thing as if it were a closed sandwich. so to be exact each slice had its own salmon, capers, onions and tomatoes. and 2 orange juices which totaled at $19.99. very expensive breakfast for 1 person. But Bagel was awesome

Poor hygiene! The girls need to wash their hands and put on the gloves that are sitting right infront of them when handling bagels . Also scraping off the cheese from the kitchen counter and not placing the bagels on a covered surface was not appreciated:( they are taking away from the experience of enjoying a good bagel . All I could think of was of the bugs I would have consumed . I shouldn’t have to ask any sandwich service to put on gloves 🧤 it’s common public sanitary sense !

Great breakfast and lunch sandwiches... They are huge...You get your moneys worth with the sandwiches.But the prices are high...$3.00 for a bagel with cream cheese... not worth it! I did try the coffee a couple of times but it was only okay in my opinion. But overall nice place!

I come in all the time in the morning. The morning staff have always been good. But today My friends were next door at the nail place so I went over to get some water. I asked if I could get some and the employee said yes. As I was getting it the owner came out and started yelling at me. Demanding that I needed to buy something. The management is horrible. I will not return.

Got my order wrong. Asked for salt bagel. When I got home it was a sweet tasting bagel with my garlic sundries tomatoes cream cheese. 😝

I have been eating here sine they opened. For my sandwich I choose french baguet, which is crusty and delicous. If you order a soup you get it as a side also. All the ingredients and trimmings in the sandwiches are best quality. I recommend their soups and salads highly.

Bought 2 bagel eggwiches, 2 ojs,1 coffee, and one pastry. 28 bucks. Couldve had a full breakfast for 2 at any diner for less. Way overpriced and not spectacular at all.

Not my favorite. The manager has always been rude. We have patronized this business since they opened. Initially customers of the Martinez location. They were great! The Blackhawk location is as well. This vis my bag ripped as soon as I walked out the door and all the bagels fell out. The manager started to get an attitude until one of the employees spoke to her (thank you- I do not know your name) and she saw I was not having it. I just payed for a dozen bagels and you dont even have bags to securely hold them? But her attitude has always been the biggest problem. Bagel Street cafe has good bagels and a food selection of you are there early enough. To the owners, we have patronized 3 of your cafes for over twenty years. I have spoken to the owner in Blackhawk about this problem.

Umm where to begin I ❤ the owner and older lady but the manger and her customer service is dead. Im there everyday always get the same thing the lady knows my order by heart great atmosphere until the manager attitude comes into play. So im very skeptic on food arent we are so I always watch if possible the only 2 people i dont have to watch is the manger and the older lady. The staff will make a dish and then go to the next person without washing there hands you dont know what kind of allergy someone has!!! So i was hit with food poisoning Im like say it isnt so. I get better i go back I tell 1 of the younger staff members please dont mess up my sandwich just joking I would of told any staff member at that time even the owner the same here comes the manager attitude first no customer service whoever does it does it wrong Im like umm no Ive seen the owner do the same well it shouldnt be made that way just with attitude I let it go and was like I wont be back for awhile. Then the day i finally do go back oohh was it hell the manger literally yelled at the lady after the staff had messed up their order then tried to savor what food they could instead of making a whole new item after it was wrong and had been sitting manger literally went back and forth with the customer riled up yelling customer asked for their money back shes talking rudely under her breath slams the register closed then the customer states their here everyday wheres the manager and when she said I am the manager the yelled they werent coming back and I dont blame them. In the mist of this the staff forgot my sandwich after all that I didnt even want it bought the damn muffin and left and no offense i refuse to go back good food the customer service is terrible tho!!!

This restaurant, like too many other places in California, closes a half hour before it actually closes. Ive been to so many places including this one where you can show up during business hours, and they just decided to pack up shop early.

The jalapeno cream cheese is to die for! Add that on a pepper jack bagel & i am good to go! Yumm

Just wanted a cup of water, the guy cleaning said it was ok. Some woman comes out from behind the counter and asks me how come i am getting water and not asking for it. I told her that I had asked and was given permission. She said I should not come in unless I am buying something. I have been here many times and bought things. Walking thru the lobby/dining area you see a community table. How can you pretend to be a part of the community if you cannot allow a mother and her child to get water without rudely demanding that they either buy something or dont come in......???? I tried to let her know that this is not how you act if you are a part of the community and that behavior like hers makes people not come in. In fact, I will make sure everyone I know is aware of the poor service of this place. Maybe I was going to buy something. My daughter would have loved a snack but I wasnt even given a chance. I especially wont purchase something if I feel like I am being bullied into it. Whoever owns this place should know how much of a rude person she is. If she is the owner, I hope she feels the impact of her behavior on her sales. I am a human being and was thirst with my thirsty child. Who is so focused on money that they deny a human being water? I am not a rowdy child, I was not causing ruckus or disturbing her business. May karma forever nor be in her favor.
