What a great bunch of guys. Honest and professional. I live in Gilbert but recommend everyone to take the time to go use these guys. They are defenitly worth the drive if you dont live in Apache Junction. If you do live there I hope you all are already using them.

After taking our bus to several other auto repair places without success, we finally took it to Arizona Desert Star Auto and they repaired it over night for a good price and friendly service. So thankful they know what they are doing. Next time, Ill go to them first to avoid the frustration!

Our RV broke down in the mountains and we were towed to Arizona Desert Star Automotive in Apache Junction. Marilyn and Gerald took excellent car of us and got us on the road in a day. Cant thank them enough. Good folks.

Broke down on a hill last night in the middle of nowhere, got towed back to town and dropped at a hotel. I called the moment they opened and they were at my hotel 10 minutes later. Long story short, they had searched to find a part that was on backorder everywhere and unavailable at the salvage yards, and luckily found one. I was told my truck would be ready after 5, but they called me at 1 and sent a shuttle to pick me up. By FAR the best experience Ive ever had with a repair shop. Thank yall again!!!!!

Scanned codes myself and went in to find out if they had machine to pinpoint specific problem since all known possibilities were corrected and triple checked. Code keeps returning. Expressed willingness to pay for time if they can fix it.got followed around by woman trying to force me to sign a contract. Asked for short consultation with mechanic to find out how they could diagnose it further. Took 10 minutes to put his scanner on and told me what i already told them i know already. Nothing useful from this short 10 minute time, nothing worth $45 they charged for doing absolutely nothing in ten minutes time and offering no advice useful or helpful. I would have paid for whatever time it took to fix it, if they could, but sensed no confidence or certainty to take the job. Just the woman trying to get money for nothing. They owe me 20 minutes at least. They could have checked over symptoms further for the time they charged. Maybe they could have fixed it due to something overlooked in 20 minutes of effort.At least put the time in if charging it! I strongly feel unfairly charged and ripped off to put it straight. I do work for people but do not charge for advice, or certainly not charge for service not rendered with satisfactory results. Time is valuable but good ethics are priceless. If it comes to it that i must have a garage do the work for me i will take it elsewhere.

They always take care of all our repairs

We have been a customer of Arizona Desert for several years. They are efficient, friendly, and prompt! They give you an understandable description of the problem, how they can fix it and try to give you the best price they can. Marilyn, at the desk is always willing to answer any questions and always offers a ride home if needed! She is the window to the company and does her job well!

Repairs done well, however shop personnel, including office personnel did not wear masks.

Ill Dale rather pricey, they got an incredible amount of work done in a very short time and were very friendly. Communication is exceptional. Thanks Marilyn and crew!

Az Desrt Star is the only place I take my car. Gerald the owner and his mechanics are helpful and friendly. If need be I can drop my vehicle off and they will give me a ride home or to work. I was recommended by a friend to bring my vehicle to Az Desrt Star years ago. I highly recommend friends and family to bring their vehicles now when their car needs service.

Your company needs to disclose any fees prior to looking at a car. I dropped off my car to have it looked at and no one expressed there would be any type of charges. I have had multiple mechanics over the years do a free basic diagnostic check. If they charged, I was told ahead of time. Shame on your company for not being honest and upfront with people.

We had a high pitched squeal..did not kno w where the exact problem was..they kept the car for a day..found the problem ordered thepart and had it repaired by the next morning. Great service,friendly and dependable,prices are reasonable.Would trust them anytime we have a mechanical problem. Extra bonus for us ..close to home....

My mother is 80 years old she took the car to Arizona Desert Star Automotive after having it serviced at another shop. They charged her $400.41 to change the spark plugs, plug wires and fuel filter on a 2003 Buick Century. I called around to several shops and they all quoted me a price in the $260 range. I really feel they took advantage of her because she is a woman an elderly. I called the shop and talked to the Manager, his response was Im sorry you dont like the prices basically. If I was elderly, or knew someone elderly I wouldnt recommend letting them get work done at this shop.

Honest and friendly. Have used them for years and never had the feeling that were over charged. They also have a shuttle service.

Everything I had done I ended up redoing myself via YouTube. I would not waste my time. I went there as my normal mechanic is further away since I moved. I will travail the extra 20 miles if needed.

Being the father of the owner and have tought him everything i know and now he wants a review---their is not enough space to tell you 45 years of good and bad experiances. but i can say one thing he has became quite the mechanic who has better values than most mechanics. One thing for sure he will tell you the truth and not try to soak it to you.He is very busy so if you are in a hurry it might take some extra talking to perswade him to get you out early. And if he doesnt do a good job just let me know ---i cant whip him any more but i can give him a tong lashing.
