The new owner is exceptional. I never owned a real hybrid mountain bike with oversized wheels that came in deluxe vangold coloring. The bike originally retailed at around $1200 and it was a steal at $700. However, I needed $35 to buy a hoodie for my daughter. The owner knocked not $35 off the price, but $50. I was so grateful that I took the extra $15 and bought a t-shirt for my daughter. She in turn said, Dad you keep it. I know you like it. So I did. I recommend this place to anyone in the state of AZ and even parts of CA, NM, and PA.

My family and I were in the need for some new bikes and we wanted to help support a small business, when we came across Junction Bicycle. We were greeted by Nate. He jumped right into answering all our questions. We fell in love with a bike for my husband and I, but not one for the kids. We had one other shop to check out so we left and ended up coming right back. We bought the two bikes we liked. I told Nate what we were looking for one of our kids, he checked the different distributors but no luck. I was very impressed he even offered. Good customer service is hard to find these days, but Nate helped me have faith.

Couple months ago had a flat on my mountain bike. Purchase a thorn resistance tube. Hade no problem. June 3rd bought another thorn resistance tube for other tire. June 6 tire went flat due to a thorn. Went in today to show them. Wouldn’t assist on exchange even though I still had the receipt and box from them. The young kid asked if I wanted to buy another. Told him no thanks taking my business somewhere else. Should stand buy the products selling if something happens within days. Especially when it says thorn resistance.

Our boys all have regular bikes for around the neighborhood that we buy for them, but when they want to get something specialized, like a new mountain bike, we go halfsies with them and they have to work and save.Our oldest bought his first mountain bike from Nate at Junction cycles (back in September). First, its his favorite color and he was so excited. Second, Nate did a great job of talking with him about the purchase and what he had to do to earn and save! The conversation really helped increase his sense of pride in his accomplishment. And the bike was well priced. Overall it was a great experience and they have continued to do a great job servicing the bike on needed maintenance!Now our next oldest is close to his goal of saving for a mountain bike and we will be back soon!

I have shopped at Archers for years...recently moved to east mesa and decided to try Junction because it was close.I arrived with my 9 year old son 10 minutes before they opened because I wanted to be the first customer and we had a busy day planned.I was the first and only customer at 9am. I asked the service guy how long the repair would take and he said ten minutes.I left and came back ten minutes and he was fixing another customers bike and mine was not being worked on.I asked him of would be moving anyone else in front of us because two more customers came in.he said yes he was gonna help them first because he cant ask them to wait.I asked him why it was okay to expect us to wait...we were first...he said his business is not first come, first serve...apparently he decides the order of operations based upon his whims.then he refused to work on my sons bike after disassembling it. then he set it outside and refused to put it back together.I told him he has to at least return it in the same condition in which he received it.he begrudgingly put it back together because he legally had no choice.I will gladly drive 8 extra miles to go to archers.junction is terrible.refused to work on my 9 year old sons bike and my son is totally confused about why this guy was so rude to us.I am flabbergasted as well.

I have an old mountain bike that has not been used in over 15 years. I took it to Junction Bicycles in Apache Junction for a Tuneup and I am absolutely thrilled with the outcome. The shop is clean and well stocked and the staff is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I felt like they went above and beyond in explaining my options and answering my questions. Their fee for the Advanced Tuneup was less than several other places I previously checked. I took my 20 year old mountain bike to them. Very polite and knowledgeable employees. The front suspension was not working like it used to. They said that they will be able to get it working if I could leave it for a days. When it is ready they will call me. Excellent customer service.

This is an amazing bike store for product and service. Also the owner always goes up and beyond to help you out even if its not relating to your bike. As an example after shopping I went to leave and my car wouldnt start. The owner not having jumper cables went down the street to purchase some come back to provide me a jump. Who does that. We bought a LIV Bliss 3 from James and Tyler at this store. We have never experienced such amazing customer service like this before. James warmly welcomed us and showed us the bikes we were interested in, very personable, polite and knowledgeable. Tyler is an amazing young man, he replaced the grips with new ones he recommended and a new seat my wife liked. Nothing was a problem at all. I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for a new bike or repair work.

On Sat 01/23/2021 i stop in to get a replacement tire and show the guy a tire and a Schwinn rear wheel and told him i need a 26x1 3/8 tire t fit this rim so he come back with this tire said $24.99 i said ok . i come back 20 min later and said this not the right tire he said put in the sun and it would pop out, I walk over to the wall and said this is the tire i need 26X1 3/8 to fit schwinn thats what it says on the tire so i pick it off the wall and show it to him he said you well have to buy it i said i need to return the one i just got he said you put it on the rim already so you well have to buy a new one i said you sold me the wrong tire i said thats not my fault anyway i had to buy a nother new tire. I was very very disappointed in this store.I,am a retired bicycle ower of over 40 years so i know my bicycle Sorry but i wont come to your store again Dan

What a great bike shop. I went with a friend who was shopping for a bike. We were greeted when we came in the door.by Nathan who gave us info on the bikes. We left and came back and was greeted by James who helped my my friend with everything. James set up the bike for her. Very happy with everything.

So to start with the pictures on line are nothing like the store. The store is very unorganized and messy. Now to get the reason for this review is when I go into a business and I am at the counter checking out my response I would expect is and I quote Is there anything else you need. I didnt get that instead as I was trying to talk to him about doing some work on my bike he walked away started helping someone else. Which would have probably made him around $500. I mean I get it if he didnt want the work least he could do is say so. I was just trying to support a local business. But I will do the work myself. Which I know how to do. Like I said helping out a local business is what I do.

I had new detailers front and back installed on my 26 mountain bike.Also a new chain and shifters with grips. All my work was done by alac and i could not be any more happier then i am. It now rides like a more expensive bike then it is. Its a pleasure to ride. Thanks Alac !

Wow! I must have caught all three employees on a bad day because I will never go back. I went in there a couple days ago needing to get parts for my bike.i was greeted by them when I went in.i told them what I was looking for and one of them said he would go outside and look at my bike but never did we are the only customers in this store.

I have been here several times now. Service is excellent, is good quality work. Owner is nice and knowledgeable. Even more important, I had my tires flat-proofed and I have gotten flats due to not having enough air in tires before ride. My fault. They still changed out both flats free of any charge. Excellent that they stand by their work. I am very happy.

We have used Nate’s shop twice now (four bikes) for flat proofing. Nate got the parts ordered as promised and James got the work done right on time! Upon purchase the staff informed me to bring the bike back once I put a few miles on it for a “tune up.” I called the shop this morning and they said to bring it up. I was expecting to have to wait a day or two (very busy shop- lots of people come here) but when I brought my bike up they tossed it on a stand and said they would perform all necessary adjustment right then and there! Talk about service! This place is great! I just bought my first mountain bike(used), and after a horrible experience at another shop, I brought it to the guys at Junction Bicycle. What started as a simple tune up turned into an all day project, but Nathan and James wanted to make sure I was good to go so I could get out and ride. Even though they could have done a subpar job, taken my money, and sent me on my way, they didnt, and knowing I wanted to get out there they gave me a bike to hit the trails with for the evening so they could take their time putting mine back together. I have found my regular bike shop, and I suggest anyone looking go check them out!

Payed for the Dual Density tread flat protection tires. Dude told me it could handle Goat heads just fine. 3 weeks later Ive got a flat tire from a Goat Head. Slime didnt help once I tried to repair it. Waste of money. Payed good money and still got a flat. The picture show it going flat after several attemps to fill with air.

Professional though not impersonal. Quick turnaround service. Im so glad they are in my neck of the woods.

My enthusiams aside, its an alright little shop in the far east valley/apache junction area with a very decent selection of most of the main current ongoing and miniseries titles out right now.the store also features combo packs for readers wanting to get into a title or completionists wanting to add onto their collection without worrying about hunting for every single issue.the staff is pretty helpful. a few dont actually read comic books but are helpful all the same to the best of their abilities.and if youre a fan of magic the gathering, they have tournaments on wednesday nights which tends to leave the place a bit of a packed house.the pullbox programs good though a bit unusual than what ive grown accustomed to what with the multiple levels to it but, its a free sign up and they WILL let you have a pullbox with one title in it, so ive been toldtheyve only been around a couple of months and i really hope they plan to stick around/are capable of sticking around.
