This place is simply amazing and I highly recommend it to all bird owners in the Apache junction area. It is also a very great place to buy one for the first time. As others have said, the owner is very knowledgeable about birds. She sells a variety of cages, toys and food as well.

Linda is an amazing person. She is great with the birds. She is compassionate and truly loves what she does. I bring my birds in regularly to get their nails trimmed and wings clipped. By far, the best bird store I have been too. The owner, Linda, is friendly, knowledgeable and made us feel like she was glad we came. We ended up getting a parrotlet and couldnt be happier. She didnt push us and was very patient. The store is clean and no odors. Which any other bird stores always have a smell. I would recommend this store to everyone who is looking for a bird. Had a co-worker from my store tell me that a new bird store moved in, so I thought I’d stop by. The store was clean and pristine, and the birds were all so very happy. The owner was very kind and helpful! They had great prices on bird toys, and it was fun to see all of the happy hand fed birds greet us as we walked in! The birds wouldn’t shy away at all. I will definitely be going here more often for my bird supplies. The absolute best bird store I have been to. Never have to deal with and bad chain places again! If you’re looking for healthy, happy birds, this is the place to get them! They have all kinds of birds!

Purchased a bird perch through the owner, after consolidating one of my parrots through her. The money from said consolidation was to go towards a new perch for my other parrots.When the perch arrived, I was given the remaining money back, but I was informed the person who makes the perches had raised their prices and the bird store owner had split that price difference with me, without informing me and made it sound like she was doing me a favor.It wasnt a huge amount of money, but if someone sells you something that wont arrive for a while, at a specific amount, then thats the amount you agreed to - especially if they already have your money. If the supplier changes prices, that shouldnt be the customers problem since you arent buying from the supplier; youre buying from the store. A business shouldnt just go, Well, the price went up, so Ill be giving you less money back. at the last second. No, you absorb that cost increase and then you tell the NEXT customer the correct amount. Passing your mistakes on, and quibbling over a small amount of money, results in less customers. Take me, for example: I havent been back since and its been years. Over time I would have spent a few hundred dollars on supplies and grooming, but since she seemed more inclined to prioritize that petty cash over customer service, that money went to Birds And Then Some at 32nd st between Greenway and Bell roads. They are an excellent store and treat their customers with great care. Go there instead.

We just bought my son a Conure from Linda. She is so kind, knowledgeable and patient. You can tell she truly loves and cares for her birds. We had many options when thinking about adding a bird to our family, but we are so glad we chose Pretty Feathers. I feel like I could call her up and ask her for advice. She was worth the drive for us and we will definitely use her for all of our bird needs.

The store is very clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. Even the birds were very relaxed. Another store I go to, their screaming quite frequently.Prices on bird food is competitive and the prices in the Macaws are less than other local stores!Will definitely be back for my Macaws supplies.If youre a bird person in the East Valley, this is a must see!

This is the best bird shop we have been to. The prices are fair and the lady who runs the places is knowledgeable and will help you with anything you need. They offer wing/nail clipping at only 7 dollars which is just amazing specially when you have more than 1 bird. All the birds in her shop look very healthy and they are hand fed. The place is clean and just a great atmosphere.

The owner is a kind patient woman, I purchased a green cheek from here and have never been so delighted with him. If I ever have questions I wouldnt hesitate to ask her. I really liked shopping here and will again soon for more bird toys.

We got our little Green Cheek Conure, Amigo, from here just over a year ago. Drove 5 1/2 hours from Las Cruces NM for him and so happy we did! Nice clean store with very nice and helpful owners. The owner stressed that each of these birds are her babies

My daughter and I went to three bird stores in the course of one day and Pretty Feathers was the first (and by far the cleanest) store with the happiest, most well-loved birds. She didnt have the specific bird my daughter was looking for but I wanted so badly to take one home from Pretty Feathers. We ended up at different store on Dobson Rd. that was hot, smelly, and the birds were completely over-crowded. My daughter felt like she was rescuing the bird she got there. I will definitely return to Pretty Feathers for any of our future bird-related needs.

The ladies are very friendly and you can tell they really love their birds... I bought a little cockatiel for my daughters first time pet and everything they said about this bird came more than true. They have a great selection of different breeds and most of them seem hand tame which is sometimes hard to find these days . Im so happy to finally find a bird store close to home!

This is a nice little one-stop-shop bird store located in a little strip mall near downtown Apache Junction. Tons of live birds, parakeets, conures, rock pebblers, macaws, cockatoos, and much more. Also will board your bird while youre away, groom your bird, and sells bird food, cages, toys, and even some basic medicines.

Bought 2 cockatiels from here a while ago. Theyre amazingly tame and love to cuddle!

We adopted a cockatiel from this store who someone brought in. The store had him for 2 days from what they told us. The bird was sick ( which we didn’t know at the time) and they had him in with the other cockatiels and conures. This infection he has can be transferred through water as we found out. I spent over $200 to get him to a vet and to his meds. We only had him for less then a week. Please be careful buying a bird from this store. They don’t quarantine the birds.

Boarded our indian ringneck for the first time while we were on vacation and he wasnt traumatised at all. I am buying a conure from the store and am making payments. Cant wait to get him home.
