I was in the position of having to find two vehicles, with a strict budget, that were safe, reliable and good on gas. In the current used car market that was proving VERY difficult. I contacted several other dealers who wanted to stretch my budget and parameters, even though I told them up front what I could and could not do. We found Marte Motors online and decided to stop in and check. It was a great decision. I explained what I was looking for and what my budget was. There was no pressure to spend more than I could afford and no pressure to accept a vehicle I did not feel comfortable with. I test drove several vehicles before finding the two that would suit my children. The process to actually purchase the vehicles was handled with respect and courtesy. The entire experience was pleasant and respectful. These gentlemen completely defied the image of used car salesmen. Marte Motors will be my first stop should I need a used vehicle again from a lot I can trust.

Private seller type vehicles that have issues, at dealer prices. Lots of gaslighting from Matt. Good luck. They buy cars at auction and sell them without fixing them first. I do have a vehicle though. Thats why 3 stars and not 1. Day 2 my whole car turned off and they came and got it to take it to their mechanics who decided it was a loose ground wire. I told them the ABS light was on at that point but it wasnt on when they had it (because the ground wire being disconnected resets the computer in the same way taking the battery out does) I tried to call their mechanics to explain what was going on with the car and the mechanics told me I needed to talk to Marte Motors, not them. Even though the vehicle is mine and paid for. I picked up my car and took it home. Day 7 of owning it the ABS light is back on, called Marte Motors and they told me I was making a mountian out of a mole hill and that I needed to pay $100 diagnostic fee at their mechanics shop and that if it was a safety hazard then they would repair it. I dont have $100 to spend on a $5500 vehicle I have owned for 7 days and only driven a few times. They pretend like theyre being so helpful but like... Its not helpful. The mechanics they use are in their pocket and brake failure is always a safety hazard. Waste your money elsewere unless you like being screwed over.***theyre still gaslighting me in their response, instead of taking responsibility for selling junk vehicles. Plain and simple. None of the things should have happened in the first place. I paid 2k over KBB for the peace of mind of buying from a dealership.*******if you stand behind your vehicles why should I pay for an issue that the vehicle CAME WITH???****

I recently purchased a car from Marte Motors & it was awesome. The guys truly believe in a hassle free car buying experience. Marc came out, introduced himself, & then told us to let him know if we needed anything. We looked around, picked out a vehicle & took it for a test drive. During the drive shifting felt a little off but we chalked it up to the car sitting for awhile. Marc ran the numbers & worked with us to get the price close to what we were looking to spend (we got a great deal). After driving the car awhile it still wasnt driving well. We took it back & they did some research, turns out there was some recall work that needed to be done in that particular model. Had it not been for the guys vigilance in making sure I was satisfied with my purchase, Id never known about the recall work. I have since gotten it taken care of & my car runs great. Easily the best people to go to for a used car. Most cars are in great condition for a very good price. And if youre not sold on that they will let you take the vehicles for a spin to see if you like it yourself. On top of that they are a no B.S. company. They are straight forward and honest. Im a first time car buyer and so I ran into some obstacles through this process but they were very patient and very cooperative and helpful in trying to get me the best payment plan possible. Sold me a vehicle I paid$4200 out the door and I was told by Marte that they fix everything before they sell it and lied saying that the vehicle is under warranty. My timing chain broke and he sent me to a Mexican chop shop and they said that Matt lied to him saying the issue is a belt. Now Matt or Marty will not return my phone call or fix the issue with my car. Ive had it for 4 weeks and its a 4 1/2 hour drive from where I live to get to Apache junction. Total scam if you ask me.

These guys will treat you like family. Marc greeted us at the door with a handshake and a smile. We told him our budget and explained our rather difficult financial situation to him, he was more than happy to oblige. My girlfriend and I arent exactly well off, but we were in desperate need of a particular vehicle in a short time frame, and Marc went to great lengths to help make that happen for us. I love the experience of purchasing from them and Im sure if this wasnt a Sunday they would get back to me as soon as possible. Im in a desperate situation but quite honestly I dont feel like Ive been taken advantage of so well see how they approach the situation. I also am rating then before we resolve the issues with the car because I told them I was going to rate them when I bought it and then forgot and now I remembered but then the car is busted. If the car hadnt been busted I totally would have given them five stars..UPDATE: They are currently taking it to get looked at. Whoohoo!.UPDATE #2: IF YOU NEED A RELIABLE PLACE TO GET A CAR DEFINITELY GO TO THESE GUYS. The car I purchased from them had some mechanical issues the day after.
