I did not even know this place was in Apopka. That have a nice selection of items for your home such as carpet - tile - wood flooring - sinks - complete showers - interior and exterior doors and more. The pricing seems to be competitive as well. If your in the area it’s worth stopping in.

Items did not all come in at same time. This delayed install. Once item came they were either broken(2 desks drawers), not as described(glass doors don’t come with glass) after you pay and they arrive they tell you to go get the glass from ace hardware, they tell you you’re getting a file cabinet but it’s really a two draw base you have to attempt to create your file drawer, instead of getting a trash base they sell you the regular door and a kit you have to built yourself, back panel to Island came in several months after order and isn’t cut to size. Sales man told me my handles were included, didn’t not it, no longer working there so now no one will honor the renal agreement. Awful experience all around. And I didn’t buy the cheapest model, cabinets came built, but I’ll definitely go elsewhere and tell everyone spend the extra buck somewhere else.

Home Outlet of Apopka is part of a quite personalized home outlet merchandiser. Giving their customers the one on one expertise needed and experience needed for the different phases of home maintenance and or upgrade. Creating an individual plan that is right for either the contractor or the home owner themselves. Making sure both will walk away fully informed and having the knowledge to see a project from start to finish.

They have way more variety and better prices than home depot or lowes which came as a surprise considering their inventory. Great place to find what the big stores cant offer.

This was our 2nd purchase at this place. We decided to go with them again because we already had a card with them, we ended having 2 Xtra cabinets and when we returned it the manager working that day said he couldnt take it back because it was damaged. The cabinet was not used at all but the box was a little wet from being in the back of my husbands truck. I couldnt see any damage from it but he said you should have taken better care of it. I told him this project is done and I have no use for it but he said I cant help you come back another day to see the other manager. So Im stuck with a cabinet I dont need, and lost the money. If this is truly a cabinet place they should have been able to take it, fix the issue with the cabinet and give us some credit. We know not to ever go back to that place because they dont take care of their customer. If you want a place that care about customer satisfaction this is not the store for you. M I noticed another customer already mentioned that but beware of places that change names.

Ricky was really nice and try to help with the issue but the manager was terrible and did not even attempt to help. He acted as if I was a nuisance based on that interaction I dont recommend doing business with them because they dont seem to care about customer satisfaction.

Absolutely love this place. I flip houses for a living and surplus warehouse is a godsend! I live a mile from Lowe’s but still make the hour trip to surplus warehouse on a weekly basis. The prices are unbeatable, products are equal to if not better than all the other home improvement stores, and the staff are great! The store manager James is a great, friendly guy. Super responsive to emails and follows up when he says he will. Brent has also been super helpful. I saw another review that said they are short on staff but that’s all home improvement stores. I can never find an employee at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Only thing I would suggest is bring a cold water or mini fan if you plan to be there for a while on a hot day. It can get a little toasty in there.Overall great experience. I will continue to use them as much as I can. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking to save some money without sacrificing quality of the product!

I recently accompanied my mother to look at kitchen cabinets. The associate who assisted her although short he was very helpful. She purchased a cabinet and counter top. Unfortunately they were not the right size for her kitchen so she had to return them. After being accused of returning merchandise that didn’t belong to them by one of the associates, they then refunded her on a credited card that was not used for the purchase. She asked me to call on her behalf (my mother is an older lady) to try to resolve the issue but the associate I spoke with had very poor customer service. Thus nothing has been resolved. I personally wanted to shop with them in the near future but the entire situation has changed my mind. I would not recommend.

While not a full hardware store, this business offers great deals in home improvement materials.

I walked in the other day wanting to get new vanities and new flooring for two bathrooms. I saw 5 employees and no one even said hi much less tried to help. I would rather spend my money with people who can at least pretend that they want my business.

This place is shady was called Surplus Warehouse now it says Home outlet pay with credit card my statement says Bartuns. The help there is no help at all very large men the most hate his job or just really dont care I perches cabinets there he really didnt care what I was asking for and was slamming the cabinets on to the cart. Price wasnt that good. I buy them because I needed something fast. This time I go to match a countertop for a job same guy try giving me a damage one when I say I will take a different one walked away and say I see you in the front. When I was ready to pay older guy charged me and before I ask for help to load the 10ft countertop he took off. The place was empty. the price are not that good they try to stay a few dollars under home depot but will charge you a fee if you bring anything back.

My white Shaker kitchen cabinets were purchased here and shipped directly to my home. They are high quality, and look just beautiful. James (the manager) was incredibly helpful, and very responsive. I provided the exact measurements and after multiple conversations, James worked out the layout. It all fit perfectly. I do have to replace a drawer glide because it makes a slight scraping sound, but that was addressed immediately. All in all, I am very pleased with the service and price here!

Surplus Warehouse has the best vinyl flooring pricing I have seen in Orlando area. They also have excellent cabinets very stylish well priced and made in America.

I bought several hundred dollars worth of flooring which they happily loaded into hy car, however they did not give me the flooring that I had asked for. My fiance spent all day putting this flooring into our house without knowing that it was not the one that was intended. Not only was an entire day wasted installing the wrong flooring, but since the boxes were opened and now on the floor the store is unwilling to do anything about it. When I went back the worker even argued with me that it was the wrong flooring until realizing that the tags were switched for where they kept them. With their unwillingness to fix their mistake I would never go back.

James was wonderful. I came to the store with a home depot design for cabinets and he took it upon to redesign the kitchen. This was my first time to the store and felt as if I was a regular. Great prices for good quality and great service! I would definitely shop there again.

Contrary to reviews we had a pleasant experience. Theyre not as attentive when you are just looking around but when we walked up front after we found what we wanted the gentlemen was very helpful. Offered to load up our purchase from the back and brought it to the loading door. Even went back and replaced a damaged piece we spotted no problem. Also 10% off whole order with military discount! Will go back again. Great prices.

Came by a couple Wednesday’s ago and am still deeply confused about this place. I have never been to a store that made it so hard to buy something. While I thought coming to a smaller, more specialized store (rather than Home Depot or Lowe’s) which would provide a more personal, detailed experience- I suppose not, at least not for this place. First off, the parking lot was dead- perhaps the first red flag? I was greeted by a cloud of cigarette smoke as two employees puffed away right at the front doors. They stared at me as I awkwardly shuffled past them- no hi, hello, welcome to our store... inside I was greeted by an empty store and no staff. Where are all your staff?? I exited the store to inquire with cigarette guy #1 about a kitchen design (again awkward because I felt I was interrupting their conversation). Cigarette guy #2 stated I was to find some girl who was hidden within the store who could help me. I finally caught up to her wandering around the isles, nose buried deep in her cell phone. She was more than happy to help me with my design, but that excitement was overshadowed by the texts she would receive (and answer!!) every 2-4 minutes. Dude, I had to awkwardly end the conversations and told her I had to think about it some more. There was no way I was going to sit through 20 minutes of that. If you’re a first timer, if you need a little extra helping hand- just go to Home Depot. At least there they have more employees and the staff is more structured.

Update: After posting our review based on our original experience with this order, James, the store manager, stepped up to the plate and took responsibility for the mistakes, offering us a price adjustment to help offset the assembly mix-up and also helped us confirm that we had received all the spacers and parts we were not sure of having gotten since the pickup day was so chaotic. We have been working on assembling the cabinets and are happy with their quality so far, but must say the instructions they came with are worthless. Thank God our son has an Engineering mind and has been able to figure out the assembly without proper instructions. I say it is still worth checking them out, as their prices and quality are good, but if you special order something, make sure you confirm at the start what you are getting and ask a lot of questions.******We purchased all the cabinets for our sons new kitchen and were clearly told by James, the manager, that these cabinets would come assembled. It is even printed at the top of the receipt. However, when our son went to pick up the cabinets, he was shocked to see they were unassembled. The kitchen countertop was also not shaped the way that was described in the drawing that was made up. We have called the store several times and also emailed to ask that they own up to this mistake and make an adjustment to what we paid (over $4,000 worth), as this caused undue delay to their home project and we do not feel we got what we paid for. Our request has been ignored. We used to recommend this place to everyone we knew, as we have purchased items from them for other renovations (never cabinets), but now I would not recommend them, as I feel we cannot trust we will get what we were promised.

What an awesome place..was here during a sale..purchased 2 bowl vanity, counter top, flooring and faucets..for half the price of big box places..it was fantastic..so glad we found them on line..

Bought a cabinet for the kitchen they where the ones who made all the measurements and gave it to me wrong and when I went to see if I could return it for the right one they said i couldn’t that I had to buy a new one like what you where the ones who did the hole measurements wrong

Before I moved here to Central FL from Central NY; I frequented their parent store; Grossmans. I pretty much used them exclusively for all my property management supplies, fixtures, and materials. Since, in that area they had several store locations, I almost always found what I needed; and atleast 20% cheaper than HD or Lowes. I was elated when I actually discovered this store down here, that served me so well up North. James runs a great store, and he and staff are always polite, attentive, and bend-over-backwards helpful. lol. Such a treasure having this store in our area. Hopefully, they will open other locations around here.

Much like the name of the store suggest this place relies on a surplus of stock to make their prices competitive with larger store like Home Depot and Lowes (however it lacks as much variety as said stores). In my case I found thier kitchen cabinets and countertops were better bargains. Not everthing here beats the bigger guys in cost but if you want to be economical its good pace to try.

Diy using left over stock, end runs, out of style but cheap floor coverings. Some kitchen/ bath cabinets etc. Good for house flips or rentals.

Normally I like my visits here, but unfortunately today was no customer service day, even to the point after shopping for an hour when we asked for assistance or even for a cart to get 3 countertops and base cabinets, the employees didnt even point to where their at not to mention even offering help so instead of dropping my $800 cash we bought a door knob for $30 and left.
