Don’t go here! They never answer the phone. They messed up transferring. Contacted my Dr for refills when I had 3 already. Contacted my Dr to use generic when it was already filled as a generic by previous pharmacy. Said they didn’t accept my insurance because it was brand name and not generic. And when there’s problems they never answer the phone. Even when they aren’t busy and you hold for an hr.The CVS down the street is normal. Go there!

I went here to get my birth control. I was told I had dualinsurance and needed to contact my insurance. Which to me didn’t make sense. I was asking questions so the gentleman that was helping me grabbed a worker Amber to help. She got on with a tone and basically reworded what he said. That wasn’t why I needed her. I then asked can I just get my birth control, as I was going to pay out of pocket. She proceeded to tell me “well you haven’t picked it up since April” uhm excuse me. I pulled off and went inside so I can get her name. I understand the world is understaffed and under paid but you don’t come off like that when someone is simply asking questions. She then tells me she doesn’t need to give her name out because she is off the clock. I asked one of her coworkers and got her name, which is Amber. Her customer service is garbage. I will never go back there. Now I see why they are understaffed especially if I had to deal with an attitude like that. Do better, train your workers to have a good tone. This is ridiculous. Not to mention, their information was bogus and I got my prescription through a different pharmacy.

This is THE WORST pharmacy ever. May as well close because they dont provide service only another headache, problem to add to the conditions you already have. The drive thru is sooo LONG. Go inside for wannabe know it alls that have NO CLUE how to process a prescription or take ten hours to process one prescription and then the nerve to send a customer to the back of the line instead of providing service after waiting until you get a clue for 30 minutes WOW!!! CVS does NOT deserve 1 star...

I can only use CVS because of health insurance… this CVS is horrible! 4 times they forgot to mix children antibiotics!! I get sent text messages to pick up meds and the same day ‘oh it’s not ready’ and ‘we don’t have it.’ Why send text message to pick it up??? We needed for another person!! Really??? The only reason CVS is in business because they have a contract with health insurance companies.

Came to drop off prescription for anti nausea medication for my wife after hospital visit. Had to come to this store because the stores in my area were closing and this is the only 24 hr store closest to me. Wait in drop off area, pharmacist Paulina approaches ask if I’m dropping off. I felt yes and that I would be waiting on the medication. She then begins to shake her head and body vigorously telling me No…… and says wait is at least an hour completely unprofessional and rude response. Response could’ve been, “sure no problem but it will be about an hour wait as we are behind.” I ask for her name and she aggressively tells me as if she doesn’t care. I’m just so saddened to see these are the people taking care of the community. Lack of compassion and empathy for others. Waste of a degree if you ask me.

Closest 24 hour pharmacy to me. So 9pm with an urgent need for meds and on hold for 45 mins (to confirm it was being filled) before I finally hung up. Thankful my daughter could pick up for me anyway. I have this issue with the CVS on Orlando Ave too. Had to stop using them. But this was an emergency.

By far the worse customer service that I ever experienced with CVS stores. This morning I called because my prescription was showing on the website to call the pharmacy and the guy who answered the phone yelled at me saying THIS IS A VEEY BUSY STORE. This prescription was sent since yesterday and still not filled. Never experienced this issues with CVS in Texas or south Florida. I believe the staff in this store needs to be sent to a very advance customer service training because the lack of customer service its very noticeable in this store and pharmacy staff. Im switching to mail prescriptions by Express excrips. I cant continue having this rude conversations with pharmacy staff. They are rude, unprofessional and dont care about their customers. They just care about making their checks.

I’m usually not a person to leave reviews anywhere, let alone bad reviews, but this pharmacy has the most horrible customer service. When you speak with someone on the phone, they are constantly cutting you off and don’t let you speak, and it takes at least 45+ minutes to be able to speak with anyone in the pharmacy. They say they are “answering the phones”, but a simple, “Hi thank you for holding, we are very busy and you might experience a long wait time” would suffice. Every. Single. Time. I call. The hold time for the pharmacy is extremely long. I completely understand that they are very busy, but you shouldn’t leave people on hold for 45+ minutes without saying anything.

I gave a one star review because 0 is not an option. I have used CVS in other locations and never had an issue. There has been an issue EVERY time I used the one in Apopka. The drive thru pharmacy is nothing short of mind boggling. Several different people have made me feel as if I was annoying them when I asked questions, they were rude when they talked and they dismiss you when THEY are done talking. Tonight I went to pick up a script for my kids and was told there was not one there. When I drove to Orlando, I went to another CVS who pulled the script up and told me it was indeed sent to Apopka. Just gives you an idea of how lazy and/or untrained they are! I have now switched pharmacies to relieve me of this aggravation.

I would love to put 0 stars towards the Pharmacy don’t get me wrong the front part of the store is decent but the Pharmacy is a joke they never answer their phone in a timely manner at all I been on hold for hours on end and when they answer it seems they have an attitude as if it was a bother to answer a phone call I get it can be busy at times but still maintain professionalism. They never commit to the time when medication is to be filled and scripts go missing all the time. My daughter suffers ADHD and ODD and she takes two different types of medications and unfortunately Walgreens doesn’t take stay well or my daughter would be going there instead seeing as I never had an issue with Walgreens Pharmacies. Well my daughter just had an appointment with her physiatrist and she had two refills between her adderhal and Abilify and when I went to pick up the meds I only recieved the adderhal so when I called to check status on the Abilify they are claiming it was picked up already and I never recieved it at all!!! This is getting really ridiculous as of right now I’m going to call Staywell and find what other pharmacy they cover and get away for CVS Awful Pharmacy!!!!!!

Ed and his staff are amazing. It’s a tough time for many of us right now. So I ask everyone to have a little patience and grace when you contact them. The pharmacy is busy as they serve a large part of Apopka. However I’ve always been able to get them on the phone. And more times than not the staff has went over and beyond to hold with me on the phone or contact my dr. office to make sure my prescriptions were filled. They’re not perfect but the good out weighs the bad for me so they’re my local choice...Renee

Absolutely awful! We kept giving them another chance not any longer. Prescriptions not ready for pickup even after a week, losing a paper prescription for an Epi-pen that was handed to them and then denied ever losing it. As for the latest, I used Express RX to pay for a prescription. At the drive-thru window I was told the prescription wasn’t paid for since I hadn’t been texted confirmation and I would have to pay for it again. I showed them the payment went through my bank and THEIR app stating the balance due was zero. 5 minutes after leaving the drive-thru I get a text confirming the payment. Just spent 25 minutes on hold to straighten it out, no one EVER picked up. Apparently I will have to wait 7-10 days to get my money back. We will be changing to another pharmacy. This one is a disaster.

Pharmacy policy is NOT to pick up the phone... like seriously.The pharmacy does not answer their phone as a policy! Its been two days since they should have filled my daughters prescription so I decided to call and find out what happened... an hour and 45 minutes later after still waiting I decided to just drive down there. I was told that the district manager doesnt like for them to pick up the phone! The district manager for the pharmacy should be FIRED. The district manager doesnt want people to wait in person too long... but everyone on the phone can just wait a few HOURS. The lines are too long because you cant get anyone to answer your call so you have to just go in person. Apparently this has been going on for YEARS and the district manager just blames the staff. FIRE the pharmacy district manager.... get someone that knows how important it is to simply ANSWER THE PHONE. I would rather wait in line an extra 5 minutes while they answer the phone instead of waiting HOURS on the phone to just have to drive down there anyway. I feel bad for the staff there! They have to deal with upset customers ALL THE TIME since they arent allowed to answer the phone. They are super nice too... such a shame that they have to be subject to bad management decisions!Update:The Neighborhood Walmart Pharmacy in Apopka is much better by the way and they deliver!

My prescription was sent to pharmacy and 48hours later I came to pick up and it wasnt ready yet. It’s a bad job for the staff since they are not sensitized, nor do patients consider the pain or illness they may have. This problem should be analyzed in order to provide a better service to apopka patients and especially in these moments where medications are very necessary.

The telephone service for the pharmacy is horrible. They put you on hold for the pharmacy for 2-3 hours. They had me on hold for 2 hours once someone finally picked up they said they couldnt hear me and hung up on me.

I have been waiting for more than an hour for the pharmacy to answer the phone .I called the store and they picked up straight away I told her that I was for more than an hour on hold to ask a question about my prescription and she told me that she cant do anything about it, the only thing she could do its to transfer the call again and the waiting call was more than an hour . I dont understand, no matter the time you call they always put you on hold for very long period of time . I know they are busy but Walgreens is busy too and they dont put you on hold for more than15 minutes, an hour or more is unacceptable .

Very bad pharmacy in every way, shape, and form. They are 3 weeks late on a prescription and they don’t answer the phone. I finally reached someone and they said they just placed the order. This is 3 weeks after I requested the refill and spoke to them multiple times! I will be transferring to another pharmacy.

The biggest complaint I have with the pharmacy is: when you call no one answers the phone. My granddaughter was on the phone last night on hold for two hours and 20 minutes. I finally got in my car and drove her up to the store (still on hold). I called on my phone also, no answer. When she walked into the store no one was in line at the pharmacy. This was not the first time, a few days earlier my husband was on hold for over 40 minutes. I have been on hold for one hour forty five minutes. I do not understand why no one can answer the phone. Very frustrating🙁. The counter people are very nice but telephone service is horrible.

Person I spoke to Was rude unprofessional not even remotely helpful all she would say is we can’t fill that prescription because it’s controlled substance .All I needed them to do was to transfer the prescription but because it’s A new prescription and my old prescription had no refills. All she would say is you need to call your Doctor Who is traveling by the way., or you try to see a doctor here to have it filled. I just want to know why she couldn’t call the CVS where I live and at least try and be helpful. My suggestion is if you don’t like doing your job and you’re rude and ignorant to people then you shouldn’t have that job. Maybe you should work somewhere else where you can treat peopleIn a rude and ignorant way.

Did the online order for refills. Was delivered via USPS. When I got my bag, I only had 1 out of 2 prescriptions. I called and explained what happened to Anthony onurah or something in the pharmacy, and he was instantly rude, condescending, and irritated. I could not believe how this man was acting! It was very insulting and caused me to respond in kind. Not ever did I raise my voice, but I did give him the attitude he was giving me, right back!Then instead of trying to help (not that he was anyway), he hung up on me! Outraged, I drove up here and spoke to the manager. Im assuming shes the manager, as I learned from this Anthony character, they just say theyre the manager anyway. I was calm and polite, even though I was seeing red, and went to the pharmacy to hopefully get this situated.Upon reaching the pharmacy, I could hear anything talking to someone on the phone with the same attitude he had with me! While the manager was doing what she needed to do in the computer, he walked up and threw a piece of paper on the keyboard she was typing on and said this is the one who was lecturing me and then turned around and left. Unbelievable!The manager just said oh Tony... I will also be reaching out to corporate about this as well. Ive worked customer service my whole life, never have I seen someone be allowed to act in such a manner and right in front of his boss?!? I mean, from me, she can write it off as me being dramatic or something, but then he proved my point directly in front of his boss.Clearly this type of service is encouraged.

This has been my neighborhood CVS for 4 years now and I’ve had some not so good experiences in the past BUT today I went and an “almost” another bad experience ended very pleasant. CVS has a new Manager Ed and he is awesome. He’s professional, attentive, and holds staff to a new standard. I encourage all my neighbors who left to go back and give them a try. Depending solely on whom is assisting you; depends on the level of customer service you receive. Most of the staff is very rude/curt for no reason. All customers are not irate although they truly have a reason to be. This pharmacy takes forever to fill prescriptions. The quoted times given...lets just say to multiply it by 10.

I have been a customer of this CVS for almost 2 years now. I cant comment on the store as I mostly use the pharmacy. Today while at the pharmacy, I was dropping off a prescription. I was very polite to the lady working the desk and in return she was incredibly rude to me. I was told that they didnt have my prescription, which is not a big deal, stuff happens. But the manner at which she said this and threw my paperwork back at me and told me to go find another CVS completely blew me away. I kindly explained to her that I have been coming back the same day every month for almost 2 years and she told me it doesnt matter. So I will no longer be using this CVS and CVS will never have my business again.

We recently moved to Zellwood and have now been frequenting Apopkas downtown CVS. We found the same good service and well-maintained store as in our previous neighborhoods. Last week, symptoms dictated I needed. help and I made an online appointment with the Minute Clinic. What a great experience! In less than 10 minutes, I was checked over and diagnosed with a script sent to my pharmacy and notes sent to my doctor - and all done with good conversation. I highly recommend their services.

She is kind and careful in the details, the treatment couldnt be better. This is not my closest CVS, but its definitely my primary MinuteClinic location.

Definitely an over-worked pharmacy. Had to wait over an hour just to ask a question. That is not their problem but I got frustrated when I was dropping off a prescription in the drive through. The technician wouldnt even allow me to speak. Just cut me off and said to provide my drivers license and a valid credit card. I tried saying it wasnt my prescription, just dropping it off on behalf of a relative. He over spoke me and demanded my drivers license and credit card. Yep DEMANDED is the proper word. I wouldnt ever go to this pharmacy again, personally if it wasnt for it being the only one that will accept my daughters insurance. Many times I even pay out of pocket for her prescriptions just to avoid them.

You cant make it up. I switched to CVS from Walgreens because Walgreens has customer no service. CVS seemed to be customer oriented so what did I have to lose. Well I had no idea that the pharmacist were also MDs and pill pushers. I had a phone call from the pharmacist asking me questions about my diabetes and wanted to know if I had high cholesterol and if I did I should be on a statin drug. At that point I became unglued and told him off. I just cant believe that a company trusted with your medical information would do anything like this. Dialing Publix pharmacy im there all the time any way.

This Pharmacy is always so incredibly busy. I waited in line like everyone else I finally get to the counter and youre not even going to be friendly to me! Use to be a great pharmacy, but customer service is non existent anymore. Received a text message for a prescription that it would be ready by noon today. I tried to call earlier this afternoon to verify and was on hold after 5 calls a total of 35 mins, 20 mins on the first call. Here it is midnight and now Im told itll be another hour. Worst Customer Service EVER! VERY rude, short, impatient unconcerned. Watched a Pharmacy Tech actually roll her eyes at a customer that didnt speak English very well and needed her assistance finding an over the counter supplement. Convenient for me. Drive through is a plus - but only in the morning. The drive through is fairly slow and in the afternoon it gets busy. Pharmacy always seems overworked. This is a very busy pharmacy. That means you may have to wait a bit for your prescription - a bit longer than other pharmacies. None the less, they have always been very friendly and helpful.

Its nice to go somewhere And NOT be judged and treated like your trash ( I have a REALLY strong narcotic ) and I never had a problem. I have been a customer at this CVS for more than 10 years. After surgery they treated me like a criminal and told me that they could not fill the prescription. They also told me they could not tell me who could. The Dr told me that the pain would become unbearable and I would need it.I well to another CVS and they told me that my CVS is always dumping on them and the could only fill it one time. What if I didnt have a car? After that visit I found out that it was a narcotic. I am in my 60s and had no idea what was going on.The customer service at my CVS in Apopka FL is terrible. I cant trust them and will complain to the FDA.

The people were completely rude. My mother and I came to get our prescriptions filled and the two women had absolutely NO patience whatsoever. I believe their names were Vanessa and Amanda if Im not mistaken. Amanda was very rude to my mother and Vanessa was worse. And to top it off, they couldnt completely fill our prescriptions... I gave them 2 starts because there is a female pharmacist here that truely cares about others and does her job. Now thats over, this cvs is known for having staff with attitudes that will hold up your medicine. My son has a parasitic infection and i needed a 3 day supply of Albenza. Now the pharmacist was nice enough to give me the last 2 he had which was 1 day, but when i called back i was told they dont have it and they dont know which store does have it. I asked could he check his system to see which one does, the person then stated that they have no way of checking that in the system and i would have to call around and see which cvs carries it. Now, i dont know if that was a pharmacist or tech i was speaking with however they were very unhelpful. I asked could he do it for me he stated yes and he would call me back. Yet no call back. So now i call the cvs on silver star who immediately checked the system and pointed me to a cvs that has it. The staff at this 24hr cvs has no compassion for others. My son is epileptic with the flu and parasites, at least try to help geesh. They dont care how they effect the public as long as your out their face and thats sad. Sick people get mad (i was never angry or directed any anger) understand how they are feeling about your unwillingness to help. And if they dont get mad they give up because of people like the person i spoke to. And this is not a first time thing here so thats why i finally wrote a review. Shame on you all, help the public. Its what your paid for. I cant wait till our insurance stops using cvs and i will be calling them regarding my issues. I liked walgreens much better.

My daughters pediatrician sent a script to be filled. Two hours later I show up to pick it up and they tell me they are out of stock if that medicine. Omg. Horrible business. This pharmacy has awful customer service. While in line waiting..an elderly lady asked for help over and over to find Previgen on the shelves and they did not tell her where to look or that they even had it. They ignored her. I took her to the isle and got it for her myself. tonight 2/12/16 went thru drive thru to pick up prescription care spot had sent in late afternoon. CVS said they did not get it. I knew Care spot sent it.. Ten minutes later they find the crème and prescription. I ask where is the one pill that was prescribed with it. They again said they did not get it. I showed the paperwork. Did not matter, the woman would not call or make any effort for me. Totally rude, uncaring and incompetent dept. This is not the first time they could not find a prescription. Please do not give this arrogant CVS your business. You have to wait forever, it takes hours longer then any other place and they are undeserving.

I recently submitted a refill and I was given less than half the prescription prescribed by my physician. CVS claimed to have called my insurance company and the insurance company said they could only give me the limited amount. When I called my insurance company, the representative told me no one had called from CVS and the pharmacy should have filled the full prescription. Calling this pharmacy takes forever. Yesterday I was on hold for 20 minutes before anyone answered. I dont know why this pharmacy is so disorganized, but I will be looking for another pharmacy.

They called me to let me know that my prescription was done and when I went to pick it out, it wasnt ready.Another day, I called them to make sure that my prescription was ready and after 20 minutes on the line, they hanged off my call.In another occasion, They gave me just one part of my prescription, etc etc........
