I was not sure about them at first. I was looking at a Yamaha A-S1200 they had on special. After a couple of email exchanges with customer service I felt comfortable enough to make the purchase. I am glad I did. My order was a genuine Yamaha complete with factory warranty and 6 months in there is nothing I can complain about. My experience with them is they have good customer service and are pretty quick to respond by email. After the purchase it shipped within 24 hours which I was watching closely because this was the last unit at this price. It was delivered to South Georgia within 2 days. I would highly recommend them and will be using them again anytime I can in the future.
Buyer beware. This company sold me a defective A/V receiver, then made me pay $30 to ship it back to them, then charged me an additional $40 restocking fee because they say it works fine. Stay far away from this place. Read the Amazon reviews... 23% of the reviews are negative. They sell garbage.
Very good products - Great customer service.I have bought two AVRs there now. Just recently and previously in 2014. The AVR I bought in 2014 still works like new. I just wanted to upgrade. I had an issue with the latest AVR when I first got it, but after working with their customer support people, the problem turned out to be the HDMI cable that I had. Replaced it and I was good. VERY good customer service!
Good morningI just wanted to express my gratitude to front desk lady and the owner to guide me to the right purchase I did a return a Denon living me with worriesI. Was not happy with the purchase. When I went back asking for a returnThey excel my expectations off great customer service and kindnesses I feel good and confident about accessory 4less I’m so happy with my purchaseAnd I left with a great experience at the local facility and I just wanted it to said thank you !I’m a retired veteran and I’m hard person to pleaseI appreciate and to all out there buy with confidence at accessory4less
Bought a Marantz 5014 and was having problems with the set up. Jeff went over each step with me until we got it right. Now every things up and running couldnt be happier. This is my second purchase from Accessories4less the first being a DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY W Studio Sound Bar System and I am sure it wont be the last.
Good prices, Great support. I have had issues with some products I bought from them in the past but they do stand behind them and will provide support whenever possible. Definitely easier than trying to deal with manufacture directly in some cases.
Great prices and great customer service. Had issues with setting up my AVR and Jeff answered all of my questions and helped me resolve all of my issues. I can not recommend them enough.
I ordered the Denon X1600H from them for my new house Home Theater. i got the email notification that it was delivered went to go get it and it wasnt there. I freaked out and worried since it was a hefty price and main piece i needed. I emailed Fed-Ex to let them know what happened,as well as A4L and immediately got a response, they said they will email Fed-Ex and if they cant locate it they will be sending a refund or replacement. This morning I woke up to an email for a new receiver, and asked to switch the address to my current Residing address. This has been some of the best customer service i have ever experienced. They deserve all the business they get. they truly tried to fix my situation as fast as possible. Best possible Customer Service around, extremely helpful and polite and responded super super fast.
Bought def tech speaker set that works great. Bought marantz receiver that worked for a couple days then video stopped functioning. It took some time to resolve with CS but ended up getting a full refund. Would rather it work out the box but reduced prices come with risk. I was taken care of in the end
Reluctantly tried them after several recommendations on Reddit. The prices were good. Got some refurbished speakers. Arrived on time in excellent condition, sound phenomenal. I had a follow up question and request and used online chat, and had immediate and incredible, friendly service. I have already made follow-up purchases and will continue to do so. Wish they were closer for a physical location. Hey, A4L, time to open up on the west coast!
Received refurb product that was faulty, supposedly they sent a brand new one. It had static on one channel within 3 days. Had to spend an hour chatting with customer service online having to prove to them unit was not working properly. Returned product and they did not refund me for return shipping. Entire process, along with similar negative reviews has me thinking refurb units savings is not worth the long term reliability risk. And Accessories 4 less does not have iron clad quality assurance. If a unit is damaged or not working it should cost the customer ZERO. I will never order from them again. You are better off buying new from a more reputable place, Amazon, Crutchfield or Music Direct.
HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BUYER BEWARE!I bought a Denon receiver the last week of February and due to the COVID Pandemic our installer was not working and just came to install our receiver. It turns out the receiver was defective with the right surround output peg not working.Attempted to get an exchange not a refund just an exchange for one that worked and the customer service person Jeff was unbelievably not understanding of the situation and made no attempts to help in any way. Basically said too bad its 30 days out of purchase so we cant help you.DON NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE THEY DONT CARE TO HELP POST PURCHASE.
The service, knowledge, and advice from Accessories4less are outstanding. Mark was very helpful when I bought my equipment 3 years ago, but just as helpful a few days ago in telling me how to configure my older receiver with my new TV. I was so impressed he didn’t try to push me into buying something new. The refurbished Marantz receiver and Focal speakers I bought back in 2015 are still amazing, so I wouldn’t consider buying my stereo equipment anywhere else. Thanks Mark!
I purchased a refurbished Marantz 7010 receiver from them. Fast shipping, well-packaged, receiver appeared new, all at a great discount compared to used. 10/10 would definitely do business again.
Very happy with the new Marrantz SR5014 AV Receiver I recently purchased. I was looking for a much warmer sound than my 16 year old Onkyo DS-595 provided. The Marrantz provides just the sound that I wanted. Mark recommended I buy a quality HDMI ARC cable for video as the inexpensive ones dont always work right and people blame the receiver. I couldnt be happier with the service and delivery. I will buy from them again..
I bought a Yamaha receiver, came to my house very quickly, they shipped the item the same day i ordered it. Within 60 days I had an issue with the reciever, it was working fine and then had a fault/issue. Called A4Less and David Harmon did a great job helping me resolve the issue immediately, the next day i had a receiver at my door to swap out. Throughout the process he communicated multiple times, with tracking #, confirmation it was leaving same day, the item was tested prior to shipping, and arrived on time. I also was given the RMA # and return info in a timely manner so everything went as smooth as possible.Very few companies have this type of great service, i would recommend A4L over and over.
They dont have hardly anything in stock. They sell 19 different integrated amplifiers, 17 of which are out of stock. They show 20 receivers for sale, 8 are out of stock. Not a good way to run a business.
Prices are great and the experience was hassle free
Ive purchased 2 high end Denon receivers from A4L in the past few years and have had only good experiences. Mark, who I believe is the owner, has personally helped me several times with customer service issues and selecting the product I wanted. I will say, once I did get a receiver on an order that had a problem out of the box (it was purchased new so this had nothing to do with the refurb process), and Mark helped me deal with the problem right away. It was years ago so I dont quite remember the circumstances, but they just replaced the entire receiver for me in a timely fashion with a brand new one. This was more than I was hoping for, as I assumed I would have to go through the manufacturers warranty process. I was happy with the outcome and used the receiver for 3+ eyars before I sold it used. This was an X series model. Over a year later, I encountered another problem with the unit. The factory warranty the unit came with covered everything that was wrong with it. I simply drove it to a repair center nearby (no shipping charges that way) and didnt have to pay a dime to have it full repaired. The repair took a couple weeks, but this was one particular authorized shop in my area so Im sure that varies. Later I found out, the speaker wires came out of one of my speakers and somehow got crossed while the unit was turned up loud and I blew something. The cause of the damage was my fault technically. In any case, Denon pointed this out to me and still covered the repair for free and just told me to be more careful next time as they cant do a free repair twice for something that I caused. Still, pretty awesome of Denon. Anyway, the warranty is key, and since A4L is an authorized dealer I can confirm everything is legit with them and I have had no hiccups utilizing my warranties. Something to note about this however is they do not appear on Denons website on the authorized retailer page for some reason, but I have already confirmed they are by going through the repair process. That should probably get updated. This year, I finally upgraded to a newer model to get my AVR up-to-date with 4K and HDR. I once again worked with Mark on purchasing a new unit. They have been a pleasure to work with in my experience, and my new receiver is up and running and is exactly what I paid for. No buyers remorse at all, even for a receiver that costs over 1 grand brand new. Except I got it for much less. Great deals here, and also you should consider buying last years model to save some money unless you need a new feature from the current years lineup. All I needed was 4k/HDR pass through and saved a fortune buying last years model.
Great price and fast shipping on an awesome home theater receiver! In the past, Ive bought a fair amount of AV equipment online (Crutchfield, NewEgg, Amazon). Recently I came across Accessories4less and was a bit skeptical. I didnt know how I felt about buying something refurbished but the price was low enough to take the assumed risk.My expectations were exceeded. Not only did they provide a tracking number the same day I placed the order, but my Denon AVR looks and functions like an immaculate, brand new item. It was even plastic wrapped/sealed; the only giveaway that this was a refurb was the unbranded packaging box.I now plan to complete my home theater system using Accessories4less... Thank you!
Ive bought 3 receivers and they are always perfect. Good service.
So I bought a speaker believing the stats that the company and the owner puts online, however the stats of the speakers are completely DIFFERENT than my TAPE MEASURE and being that this is an online store all you have to go on are online stats, so I requested a refund because the stats of the speaker were incorrect. It said 2 8” inch woofers when in actuality the woofers are barely 6 inches. The owner said he is not responsible for the stats of the speakers that he sells & that they are manufacture stats and there’s nothing he can do about that. In other words he cuts and pastes from manufactures website. HE DOES NOT MEASURE FOR HIMSELF It is my opinion))) The owner of this company does not care about its customers enough to tell the truth on the website or to verify the accuracy of the products that he is selling, It is also my opinion the owner does not care enough about correcting the mistakes FROM THE MANUFACTURER that are posted on his website. TAPE MEASURES DONT LIE.IT IS MY OPINION... Accessories 4 less does not promot repeat business and if you do purchase from this seller you will most likely be stuck with your product or have to pay a very high restocking fee and shipping.I cannot recommend buying from this seller for the above reasons.Note: I was contacted by the owner after business hours with a threatening message because he did not like my review. Ill tell you what I told him. His business must be in extreme shambles if he has to resort to threatening his customers for telling the truth about their experiences. Avoid this company or you too may may receive a threatening email after hours for stating your honest opinion after a bad experience.Check for yourself. GLE Canton 490.28 Inch woofers per manufacturer. As posted on A4L website...Measured at less than 6 inches per my trusty USA tape measure.
Great company, great products. It seems like all the bad reviews here are from people who did not read about what they were purchasing.
I recently purchased an AVRS530BT from Accessories4less. When I set it up I had some connection issues. I talked to Mark who quickly diagnosed the issue being related to the cables I was using. The issue resolved part of the problem, but there was still a lingering issue. It got a bit frustrating for a while because we couldn’t figure out the cause of the problem. They were very good about responding to all my questions (and I had a lot) and responding very quickly. In the end, I tested a new receiver of the same model at Best Buy and we found it was a rare issue with the receiver model. I guess it just doesn’t like my HD66 projector. Even though the issue was not due to any fault of their product (it was with the model, not the individual unit), he offered to let me ship it back for a different model and didn’t make me pay shipping or restocking fees. All in all I ended up with a great product (AVRS920W) at a GREAT price. Glad I upgraded too as the new receiver sounds AMAZING!!!
Ive purchased 2 receivers from ac4l and they have both been great! Really good prices and a good source for referb products!
I purchased a refurbished Marantz receiver from Accessories4Less. I knew full-well that I was buying a refurbished product and expected to get a fully-functioning unit with minor cosmetic damage. I received a unit that looked factory-fresh but was not fully functional. One channel produced terrible distortion straight out of the box. I troubleshooted the problem to the absolute best of my ability and determined the unit was defective. Getting an exchange from Accessories4Less was difficult. Ultimately, I was denied a exchange and only offered a refund under the pretense that my speakers were too large for the receiver. The person in charge of my RMA was helpful, but I absolutely do not agree with their technical assessment of my speakers being too large or too power hungry. In fact, neither does Marantz customer service, nor Fluance, the manufacturer of my tower speakers. I spoke with customer service reps from both companies and they agreed with me, that my system should be adequately powered by my receiver choice and I likely received a defective unit. I actually purchased a brand-new, identical Marantz receiver from another retailer (with a better return policy) that is happily working. I had to eat a $40 shipping cost to send the defective unit back to Accessories4Less and they are completely unwilling to cover any part of the shipping costs. Other reviewers here have complained about the same issue. My experiences with the customer service staff were pleasant, but not helpful or made me feel taken care of. Im pretty unhappy that I was denied an exchange and Im not pleased that I had to pay shipping. I wouldnt recommend buying from them unless you are very comfortable with their return or exchange policy. Prices are excellent though!
This receiver is great. I recently went full 4K (setup is below) and this deal was one I could not pass up. Having bought three receivers from accessories4less in the past already I came back to buy my forth one. When you receive 3 perfectly working refurbished receivers from a site, you tend to keep coming back. The AccuEQ setup my speakers at the exact settings as the Audyssey XT did on my previous Marantz receiver. Same crossovers, same distances (within 1 inch!). So dont worry about the negative things said about AccuEQ. Use a tripod or and set the mic in the center sitting position at ear height, if you dont your results will vary. I initially set the mic on boxes but the sound bounces off the boxes and it will mess with your results. This receiver makes my HSU VTF15 sub-woofer sound so much smoother than the Marantz did. The Marantz was pretty harsh in comparison to the RZ820. My Infinity Beta 5.1 setup sounds more alive than ever. The system as a whole has a new life with clarity and separation. All the internal apps have worked as advertised (make sure you get the latest firmware before you do anything with this receiver). The menu system is extremely simplistic as there are only HDMI settings and audio settings, this has zero video adjustments which is great because you shouldnt be adjusting picture settings through a receiver anyway. The remote is bare-bones but does everything you would need it to. I have a Logitech Harmony Elite so I wont be using the included remote anyway. The receiver is pretty big so make sure you measure where it will be sitting before you buy it.Now to my HDMI cable issue. My setup: LG OLED65C8PUA, Onkyo RZ820, Apple TV 4K, LG UP970 Blu Ray player, Nvidia Shield 2017, PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and an Audio-technica AT LP120. I went through three sets of different cables for all of my devices before finding the right cable on the 4th try. I bought AudioQuest Sky cables from Best Buy that were $99 a piece, Monoprice cables, and $25 cables from Fry’s Electronics. All the cables claimed to work with 4K UHD content, HDR content, were supposedly certified, were supposedly 18Gbps, and were supposedly HDMI 2.0. That is simply not the case. If you plug them directly into your 4K TV from your 4K component you will probably be okay. If you plug them into the first 2 or 3 ports of your 4K receiver from your 4K component you will probably be okay. If you use them for 1080p you will likely be okay. If you have more than three 4K, HDR, or Dolby Vision devices and have to use HDMI port 4 or higher on your receiver, you will likely be out of luck.On the recommendation from accessories4less support, I bought Belkin 4K 48Gbps cables from the Apple Store (yeah, I was thinking it would not work either, but I was desperate). When I got the Belkin cables home and tried them with my devices on every port of this receiver they DID NOT cut out. I was in shock. In addition, the Apple TV 4K has a check cable feature, the Belkin Ultra High Speed 4K HDMI cables have been the ONLY cables to pass that test on every HDMI port on this receiver. Every other cable failed the test no matter what port they were plugged into. This has been a full week of constant testing, trial and error, and contacting support from a reseller for the first time in my life. Take my advice, if you are going 4K with this receiver, buy Belkin Ultra High Speed 4K HDMI Cables from the Apple Store as recommended by the splendid support team at accessories4less. When it’s time to upgrade again the receiver will be coming from accessories4less once again! Thanks for the deal and most of all the support and passing along the knowledge of how bad MOST HDMI cables really are.
Avoid at all costs! Extremely rude and poor service! Not worth it! This company does not back up the products they sell. I called multiple times regarding a product that I had problems with from the very beginning and was told to contact the manufacturer instead. The manufacturer in turn stated the merchant I purchased from should take a return/refund and should I decide to go through the manufacturer, I would need to pay for the shipping. The customer service representative, David, was very short on the phone, talked over me, and told me I didnt need to do business with Accessories 4 Less if I didnt like the service. He also told me there were no supervisors/managers available to speak rationally with and instead provided me with a false extension for direct contact of a supervisor only to get he same person again. Extremely disappointed being that a friend recommended them because they were a good deal, but to find out my friend had to return the same product multiple times before it was made correct.
Incredibly low prices for top of the line products
Horrible Customer Service, They say the products are refurbished by the manufacturer, but they are just used, dirty, scuffed, products with missing parts and packaging. When asked they said that is acceptable from Yamaha, I think not. They seem like scammers. STAY AWAY!
I purchased a Marantz Blu Ray player from this retailer. The player itself is defective and they refuse to pay the return shipping. Do not do business with these guys. We all take the risk of doing business online in hopes to save some money. This is one risk you can avoid.
