We are very happy with our custom copper farmhouse sink! The house we recently moved into had a crack in the counter behind the kitchen sink, and we were looking for a solution without replacing the existing granite. Rachiele Sinks came up during our search, and when I reached out, Dino spent nearly an hour chatting with us discussing our options. We loved everything about his sinks - USA made, highest quality copper, and ergonomically-friendly design!Dino helped us design a retrofit farmhouse apron sink, which allowed us to replace our old sink and address the cracked granite without changing the existing counters/cabinets. The custom sink has a rear deck with side extensions to address where the crack was. I carefully took the measurements, and though I was nervous if it would fit properly, Dino assured me over and over again that it will work. Sure enough, we had it installed, and it is PERFECT! I waited till I had used it for a few weeks to write a review. I bought the custom drop in copper workstation farm sink with a Waterstone faucet. First, the sales process is excellent. Dino is a wonderful guy and passionate salesman, and he is available to answer any questions personally. He really got us exactly what we wanted. Second, constructing the custom sink and delivering was as per quoted time frame, quite a feat during a pandemic. The delivered sink was in a sturdily constructed packing crate, beautifully packaged and signed by Dino (kind of like the sink version of a Carrol Shelby automobile). The instructions for installation were very clear and I was able to accomplish installation in few hours without a granite counter guy or plumber, by using YouTube tutorials. Third, the fit and finish are just wonderful, especially the clear coat protected patina on the farm front. Last, the performance: this sink is very simply a time saver. Dino has thought of everything in the way a sink is used to make it a pleasure to wash dishes, wash vegetables, thaw meat, or prepare on fitted cutting board; all in a comfortable work height with perfect drainage.My advice, don’t hesitate on the price. Our stone countertop had cracked around the faucet and in front of the sink, allowing water to leak behind the cast iron sink. We didnt want to replace the countertop because we liked the color of the unusual stone. After researching custom sinks for some period of time, I narrowed it down to two companies. Both were professional and answered my questions, but Dino at Rachiele went way above and beyond. He tactfully followed up with additional information and pictures and was always there to answer my many phone calls. We wanted to replace a Shaws Original farmhouse sink (fireclay) but werent quite sure what to do. Fortunately we came across Rachiele Custom sinks. At first we were thinking stainless steel (to match appliances) but Dino told us about copper and how great it would look. He sent a quick photoshop and said that it would completely cover the existing cutout. This sink exceeds expectation, truly handmade by artisans.

After a year of searching for a replacement sink I discovered Rachiele Custom sinks. I had a 48 inch 18 year old Kohler kitchen sink, which had two sinks and the garbage disposal in the center. When I started my search for a new sink I quickly found out that none of the name brands were making that size anymore. I had no choice but to find someone who could custom make one for me. The folks at Rachiele Custom Sinks knocked it out of the park when they built our custom under counter farmhouse sink. Its made from 16 gauge stainless steel and has a brushed finish to it. It was exactly what my wife had in mind when looking for a farmhouse sink. Dino was very helpful when I called to place the order. He asked lots of questions and explained how the process would work and what we would need to do to set the sink on our cabinet which in our case is a 24 inch base cabinet. This was where the custom part of this sink came into play. It is impossible to find an under mount farmhouse sink for a 24 inch cabinet. So going the custom route was the perfect solution. Dino makes sure to ask if your right or left handed, which I thought was an odd question until Dino explained it helps in knowing where to place the drain. I would never have thought of that. Even with moving the drain from our previous center drain sink to a right hand drain we only had to make a slight modification to our sink trap to line up the disposal correctly. And speaking of the disposal it sounds so much quieter in this sink. Thats because they add a sound deadening mat between the layers of the stainless in the bottom of the sink. The first time I ran my disposal I thought it was stuck because it was so much quieter.Overall my wife and I highly recommend Rachiele Custom Sinks. Dino and the team do a fantastic job from initial order, to construction, to the way the sink was packed and shipped was incredible. Yes it is somewhat pricey, but for piece of mind, superior craftsmanship and quality, it is well worth the extra money to get the perfect sink.

My two copper sinks are gorgeous. Ive never had a copper sink before as I was nervous about the care of it but watching the videos where Dino explains how their sinks are made, why their care is so easy and him promptly answering any of my questions, I decided to buy them. They are packaged soooooo carefully and thoroughly, have the signatures of the artisans who created them and a certificate of authenticity, and are mad in the USA. I have had my copper sink for about a year and a half and it is fabulous! I like the way it looks. I like that I can rest a cutting board on the inside ledge and scrape everything into the sink. It is easy to clean and it drains well. Made of heavy copper so it does not make a tinny sound when water is running. My husband was impressed by how well the sink fit into the space. When we ordered the sink, Dino had a phone conversation with my husband, getting all of the measurements needed. The sink was fabricated perfectly. I have absolutely no complaints.

I recently worked with Rachiele on a kitchen remodel. I ordered a custom apron-front sink in the hammered, brushed stainless steel as a focal point in a butlers pantry. I was very impressed with the quality of this custom sink. It was so sharp and gave this luxe pantry the shine it needed. My client was very happy with the product as well. We had some delays in fabrication due to the complexity of what we had designed, but it was well worth the wait and not a problem for us. This was a fully custom product and cannot be rushed! I will use this product again the next time were looking for this kind of look.

Amazing Customer service and products! We have a home with farm sink installed and could not figure a way or place to sit our sponge, scrubber and sink junk that was pleasant. Then came along a search and Rachiele Custom Sinks. While we could not really replace our sink with one of theirs, their Sink Caddy was just the trick. I emailed and boom, got and email right back. I sent pics and measurements and then called Dino to place the order. Everything went amazing and all involved were so polite. It arrived today and fits like a glove! There was a small delay in receiving our NextGen copper sink (notified in advance), but it was well worth the wait. The custom sink (28 x 17.5 interior) is very well made, and gets us plenty of enthusiasm from our friends and guests. The interaction over purchasing was excellent both at ordering and follow through.The owner scrupulously points this out, but this is a living sink. Its patina changes continuously. If you leave acidic foods in it (like bits of tomato) even accidentally, it will become shinier (new penny) copper where there is contact. If a pan scratches or scuffs the sink, a shiny streak will appear... dont like that? Wait a day or two and it tends to all blend back together. On another occasion, something caused a number of little black dots to appear. A very light application of copper polish removed the dark dots and then within a day or two, it all looked uniform.Copper is highly antimicrobial, by the way, so even if you have trouble seeing the ever-changing surface, you may sleep better knowing that germs dont like copper very much and dont live very long on its surface.There are many different possible custom configurations, and some different designs. The tolerances on the sink are excellent - meaning you get about as exacting a measurement as youd like. On the Next Gen sink there is a lip on which you can rest a cutting board, strainer, drying rack (shown in the photo), and other accessories. You can even get a sponge caddie, though we already had one that matches the sink quite well. The drying rack can also function as a simple strainer, or even to hide those few dishes you havent finished cleaning (or put in the dishwasher). You can even drop that drying rack down into the bottom of the sink. Its well thought out and engineered.My wife - who has arthritic fingers - found the combination strainer/stopper accessory a bit difficult to manage... it tends to be hard to remove once fully seated. This is not a Rachiele made item - it is an option for those with garbage disposers. The solution for us was to remove the stopper portion from the unit allowing the basket to sit way down into the drain, and makes it very easy to lift out, e.g. to discard food waste. We can then use the stopper that came with the garbage disposal if we need a stopper.As for price, youre paying a premium price for a very well made in the USA product. Id say its highly worth it. Rachiele makes hoods, too. Had we known when we redid our kitchen, Id have had them make us a copper hood, too. They also fabricate stainless sinks if thats more to your liking.In short, nothing but good experiences with Rachiele as a company and as a supplier of innovative copper sinks.

When we decided to replace our black granite for something lighter, the heavy cast iron black sink needed to go. My daughter had installed a copper Rachiele sink in her renovated kitchen and after using it several times when visiting, fell in love with it. Our sink was delivered when told, came with great written material and fit perfectly. The individual who installed it commented that it was a very high quality sink and was very impressed. I love the big open design, so much more functional than the splint sinks. Spend the extra money - you wouldnt regret it!

Dino Rachiele is a kitchen sink evangelist. You might be slightly bemused by his enthusiasm for sink design after watching his many charming yet goofy videos. Dont be. Im on my third Rachiele sink, and his basic insights about kitchen sink design - which will seem self-evident once youve used one - are spot on. The truth is that most kitchen sinks (even high-end ones) are too narrow and too deep to be truly useful at the one thing kitchen sinks are made for: washing pots and pans. Dino’s epistle is that what you really want (whether you realize it or not) is a wide, relatively shallow, single bowl sink. That way you have a sink with plenty of space to work in, but you dont have to bend over, Quasimodo-style, to wash heavy items at the bottom of a too-deep sink. Plus, the drain is out of the way and is therefore not blocked by whatever it is you’re washing. That’s basically it. It isnt rocket science, but we arent putting people on the moon here, we’re washing dishes. (And of course if these insights were really that obvious, other sinks would be designed the same way.) Dino’s website contains many photographs of beautiful sinks - and they are - but actually washing pots and pans in one of his sinks is what will make you a zealous convert. So have your Saul-on-the-road-to-Damascus moment (at least as it relates to kitchen sinks), let the scales fall from your eyes, and consider buying a sink from a real human being who makes great sinks in the USA. Once you own one, you too will spread the gospel of well-designed kitchen sinks. Brothers and sisters, this review is ended.

Yes, I am a real client! I have remodeled several homes and wanted a copper sink each time, but was talked out of it. I was told they dont keep their color, they are too delicate and require constant maintenance. Thanks to other Houzz users, I was able to learn about Rachiele and I could not be happier with my copper sink!!!! So, there is no maintenance and its built like a tank. My farmhouse sink is wonderful. It is 14 years old. When I sold my former house, I even took it with me to my new homeRecently, I had some painting done in my kitchen. I have had a Rachiele sink now in my remodeled kitchen for five years. It has been everything I had hoped it would be. It is so easy to clean with just detergent and hot water. I never have to clean with harsh chemicals to remove bacteria. It is one of the larger sinks, and holds lots of pots and has plenty of room. I leave mine the natural color; everyone comments on much character it has.

I just love our new sink. I was already set to purchase a Premier Copper sink and then I decided to call Dino. I was in need of a drain and he had the only solid copper drain on the market. After speaking with him, he told us the difference between (cold rolled) vs annealed copper. He was so kind, friendly and even allowed us to call him late in the evening . I am a repeat customer. My first sink was copper. The “live” copper finish always changes, and pairs well with the “live” copper Waterstone faucet. It is the centerpiece of the kitchen. We have had our Rachiele copper sink for approximately 2-1/2 years. First of all, it was a pleasure dealing with Dino. We had a granite counter top that had cracked in the front. We bought the copper farmhouse sink. We had a million questions for Dino, and he very patiently answered each one. The installation went smoothly, and the sink is beautiful. We did not have to cut the cabinet doors. Perfection!What I like best is the size. We can easily fit large cookie sheets and pans in the sink for washing. We got the style that has the cutting board and we also purchased the hanging part where you store sponges. I use the cutting board every day. It makes chopping veggies and meat a breeze.All in all, we could not be happier with our sink. It has a beautiful patina that changes every day. The color is like fall leaves. This sink is gorgeous! Heres the deal. We remodeled our kitchen about 7 years ago. (It may have been longer. You know how time flies!) After a little research, I selected a farmhouse (apron front) kitchen sink from Rachiele. Ill admit I was nervous ordering the sink online never having seen it in person. But Dino, the owner, made me feel quite comfortable with both my selection and the company.Folks, Im here to tell you I love this copper sink more now than I did when I purchased it all those years ago. It is fantastic! So beautiful and so easy to maintain. I wanted the patina look, not a super shiny new look and thats what I got. If my husband dumps a jar of pickle juice down the drain and doesnt rinse it, I dont worry about it. Yes, it discolors the copper where the acid ran down. And in 3 or 4 days, you cant even see it anymore.I recently called Dino to ask how to get rid of some stubborn spots. I was afraid to scrub vigorously because I didnt want to damage my lovely sink. Little did I know it would take more than a little scrubbing to do any damage. I used a Scotch Brite pad and voila! The stubborn stains are totally gone. The miniscule scratches I can see faded very quickly. So if youre thinking about a sink, I would definitely buy from Rachiele. The product is incredible and their customer service is super. And its a small family owned business and I always like to support those, too! I told Dino that I need another kitchen because I want another sink from him.

In 2016 we purchased our amazing copper sink.I really didn’t know what I was getting I just knew I wanted great quality.After a phone conversation with Dino from my car(LOL) we purchased everything.The sink, faucet, 2 different sizes of the copper strainers (drain plates) AND the cutting board.It’s the BEST most BEAUTIFUL, FUNCTIONAL thing I’ve ever bought. This is where you buy your copper sinks, stop your searching. Made with love in Florida, nothing Chinese and cheap and no fake patinas. If you skimp you will be very very disappointed with fake cheap finishes. Look online at cheap patinas and see what I mean. Dino Rachiele and his staff are a delight to work with. I purchased a 36 inch copper workstation sink on a special. It is an absolute piece of functional art in my new home. The copper grid and cutting board really complete the package. I can wash vegetables and chop right in sink. Copper grid is also great as a drying rack. The size of the sink is wonderful for large pans and bathing small children. I really love the beauty of the sink. While the sink was relatively expensive the quality and per use cost makes it worth it. I am very happy with my purchase

Fantastic experience with Dino! Our family made a trip to Disney. While there we took an Uber to Dino’s place. Dino toured us around the warehouse and showed us how they make each sink from beginning to end. We love our Rachiele galley copper farmhouse sink!! This sink was worth every penny and have never had a dent or problem with it. Looks wonderful in our log cabin and love that it has a slight slant to the base so water drains well and never lays in the bottom.So easy to clean with dawn soap and very happy that copper resists bacteria. Nearly a year since we invested in our Rachiele sink and we are absolutely thrilled. It is gorgeous and has received so many compliments. Understated enough to not take over the kitchen but eye-catching enough that everyone takes note of its beauty & craftsmanship. Worth every cent! There are cheaper sinks but the quality does not come even close and they arent hand crafted by the very person you can call or email with all your questions.

Our copper kitchen sink and accessories are of the highest quality and beauty. They have become the center of attention in our kitchen. The fact that it is 100 percent made/manufactured in the USA is certainly a plus as well. Dino the owner was both hands on and very helpful and accommodating to our needs. This type of help and support is something you usually dont find anymore which is unfortunate. But is definitely what sets this Company and Product Line apart from the rest.

I got the large, stainless steel apron-front sink. First of all, working with Dino and the other people at his place was terrific. They are responsive, knowledgeable, go out of their way to answer questions and help. I was a little concerned about having a sink shipped, but it was well-packaged in a crate and was in perfect condition on arrival. The sink itself is great. Just as described on the website, I now do not use my counters for food prep at all. Everything is done over the sink on the stainless steel grid. I can just lay a cutting board on the grid as needed, and it makes clean-up quick and simple. I really like doing all of that over the sink, and not on a counter. And the grid is handy when washing dishes, to set things on before rinsing. The large single-basin handles any size pot or pan for washing. I keep a small dish drainer inside the sink on the left side, so that too is off the counter and very convenient. I put in some raised OXO sink mats (I like the raised ones so water dries underneath) so I dont have to worry about pots or pans scratching the sink. While that would not be an issue, it gives me peace of mind. If you want a great sink, this is a great sink from a great company.

True to their promise -- I love my sink! They not only did a fabulous job with the making of my kitchen sink but also made the experience a very pleasant one. We love our Rachiele sink! Customer service was very helpful during the selection process and also when we had questions later on. The sinks dont have a hammered or coated surface, so you really see the natural copper which has subtle changes in response to different food/liquids. The sink is really kind of beautiful.

My goodness! I knew I would really like Dino’s copper sinks, but I am truly in awe of its beauty! AND because it is an over mount installation, I got to keep my favorite granite and stone back splash which the sink compliments in a big way.

Dino made me a sink where he took a factory-made Franke Peak stainless single bowl 28-wide undermount sink, which I mailed to him, and his welders did their magic to attach a beautiful stainless steel apron to the front of the sink. The apron is solid and beautifully crafted and looks like it was always meant to be there. Having the apron allows me to stand closer to the sink with less reaching which is very important to me. I absolutely love this sink. It is perfect for my needs and the workmanship is beautiful. Dino took the time to design and build this special modified sink for me, and I am so grateful.

The Next Gen copper sink is excellent, everything it is advertised to be. It looks awesome in our kitchen. What might not be clear on the Rachiele website is the superb level of customer service that comes with the purchase of this sink. Our granite vendor made some errors installing our counter top, Rachieles Dino was immediately available to work with our contractor on solutions. We can highly recommend this sink.

Weve had one of their Sinks for several years - LOVE IT! You can clean it daily if youd like, but it self cleans enough that you dont have to. The patina is outstanding; we get compliments and questions all the time.

The bar sink was a bit of a late edition to our large kitchen remodel and we were caught in a “we need this ASAP”. With so much inferior quality in products out there we were determined to find a high quality unit in short time. I stumbled across Rachielle somewhat by chance; without a doubt this was the right choice. Excellent quality & the assistance provided made the experience one of the better during the remodel. If you questioning quality you won’t find better. People frequently ask if the sink is original in our 1906 historic property.

Rachiele was the only company who was able to offer us a sink that was completely custom built to what we needed.We had an old sink that was a strange dimension, making it nearly impossible to replace it without significant changes to the cabinet and counters. I discovered the Rachiele website in the course of researching farmhouse sinks a few years ago, in the course of dreaming about upgrading my existing sink. There was (and still is) a lot of information on Dino’s site—this man is serious about sinks. But all the information is actually wonderful—it’s not a sales pitch; it’s education. When you buy a Rachiele sink, you actually understand what you’re buying—and what makes it worth every penny.When my sink arrived I loved it (and I loved the amazing crate it came packed in). I loved that Dino and the crew that made my sink signed it.
