I had our vehicles windshield changed there last week and today I went to wipe the dash and got a piece of glass in my finger tip. I looked and found many small pieces of glass shards. They also scratched and dinged the vehicle, but failed to inform me. I previously reported the following to Safelite:I have used the Apple Valley, MN location twice; once for my front windshield and once for my rear windshield. I have experienced problems on both occasions. When the front windshield was replaced, the dashboard was left a mess. The larger issues came when the rear windshield was replaced. Upon picking up the vehicle, there were glass shards in the trunk area. When the rear hatch was opened, glass shards could be heard in the panel of the hatch. After a couple days, glass shards continue to fall out each time the hatch is opened. This is dangerous. The glass shards are falling above my head when the hatch is open. There is then glass shards on the ground around the vehicle for someone to step on or drive over. The inside trim around the rear windshield is also now uneven. It appears that the tech broke one of the clips while replacing the glass and sloppily put adhesive in its place to fix the problem.After reporting this information, I was told that a representative would reach out to me to discuss a solution. I never rceceived any communication from Safelite. A week later, my car was still having glass chips fall out of the hatch every time it was opened. Again these chips fell above my head, on my feet and on the dog. The car was taken to another shop to be inspected since Safelite was not communicating on the issue and it was a SAFETY concern. The other shop found lots of glass in the hatch panel and damage to the panel and trim. My insurance agency, Progressive, reached out to Safelite about this information. Safelite is not refusing to address the issues because another shop looked at the car.

Technician answered my questions fully and advised me on what to do with my windshield.

I dropped my vehicle off and the work was performed as scheduled and to my satisfaction. The employee at the desk when I arrived for pickup went through the service and explained how to avoid causing problems down the road. I wish they had loaner vehicles but at no point was I offered a loaner so its not like they owed me one. 10/10 would recommend.

I dropped my car off in there key box before they opened at 730 so that was convinient because I did it on the way to work

Everything went well other than me having to wait the whole 2 hours. I was scheduled at 1. Got there exactly on time. A white gentlman showed up at 115, thanking them for squeezing him in at 130 from his 2:00 appt. the only guy working there stopped working on my car and worked on the white guys crack and blades until 215 and then worked on mine which got done exactly at 3 which means it only took him 45 min to actually work on my car. He asked 2 customers before me to fill out the email survey but didnt ask me to because he knew he made me wait while he helped the white guy. I understand being short staffed but it was an inconvenience for me because I had things to do too. Not only white people lives matter. Why do we even have appointments then?

Great team here. They explained clearly why they recommended repairing my windshield, rather than replacing. But they also were clear on the risks of repairing. They knocked out the job fast and were professional throughout. Will definitely be back the next time we take a rock to the windshield!

DO NOT USE THEIR MOBILE TECHS. Our family set a appointment for a tech to come out to fix a small crack and replace a window. The tech told us he couldn’t do it, because he didn’t trust that the glass would go back in correctly. And he wouldn’t fix our small crack because he didn’t have his supplies. After the fact that, that’s why we had him come out. Maybe the actual shop service is better but these mobile techs are not good.

Called in to make a glass claim and the person on the phone that answered either didn’t know what I was asking or he didn’t want to help me.Pretty useless and it made it seem like it was hassle for them to do, even though it’s their job.Ended up hanging up on him. I have seen some bad customer service and this was in fact one of the worst. I also work for an insurance company and we paid up with vendors around the area to do business with. Won’t be having my agency customers go here.Very disappointed on how I was treated.

I scheduled appoint almost a month ago, take off from work and get to the shop on time. Sadly I was told they don’t know about my appointment and was informed to schedule for another day. I received text confirmation and the attached email about the set appointment. I do not recommend for anyone to go to Safelite auto glass.

Set up appointment and sent constant reminders. very accommodating. Car had a small chip and they repaired it within half hour. So far so good. Trouble free service.

Had my windshield repaired via mobile service. IT CRACKED OUT FURTHER ALMOST ALL THE WAY ACROSS THE WINDSHIELD. And now it costs almost $900 to replace the windshield and re-calibrate ADAS systems (lane assist/Eye sight). Even with insurance - its a great deal out of pocket. The warranty isnt a warranty - its a money back guarantee. The $60 my insurance will be getting back is less than 10% of what it costs to replace. Horrible! The warranty has no point - as I was told on the phone they cannot re-repair a crack or a crack that is too large. So basically the warranty means theyll throw some pity money at you when the repair fails. The only reason they even deserve one star is A) I cant go less than one star and B) because at least the employees/customer service was kind. DO NOT GET YOUR WINDSHIELD REPAIRED WITH SAFELITE. If the repair fails like mine did youll be out a pretty penny!

Great customer service, was called within 2hrs of making an online appointment request. Was told to allow for 90 min and was out in under 50. They even vacuumed out the front of my truck but missed wiping down the black particles on the dash hence the 4 star rating. Will do business again.

Back window needed replacing, the first time the person came out he said that there was a dent that would make him unable to seal the window properly. He told me exactly what needed fixing and it was very easy to reschedule. The next person who came was so fast and quick I wouldnt have known he was here if I hadnt glanced out the window. Looks beautiful! I also really liked that I got a text with a photo of the technician who came out.

This was my first time having to get my windshield replaced, so I was nervous about how long it would take and how it would go. Turns out, the process was really smooth, quick and the tech who worked on it - Gary - was fantastic! He replaced my windshield while I was at work which made it easy with such a busy schedule. He called as he pulled into the parking lot, found my car easily, and it only took him about an hour to do. He called once it was done and gave me clear instructions on how to best take care of it. When I got into my car, everything was exactly as it was before - including the little oil change sticker! Great service, easy process, would definitely recommend to others.

Horrible experience from the very start. They booked over two weeks out, then brought the wrong windshield and had to special order a new one and wanted to book my appointment 2.5 weeks later. Could not get someone to call me back and no one would take responsibility for fixing the issue. Poor costumer service and communication. I finally just cancelled my whole order. I then called a different place to fix my windshield and they came out and fixed the windshield same day!

I just used the Safelite mobile service to have my windshield replaced and all I have to say is WOW! This company screams quality, professionalism and efficiency. I couldnt be happier about the entire process of requesting an appointment online, having them file the insurance claim and then having them come to my home to do the work. Simply incredible. I cant forget to mention that the technician was also fantastic. He was professional and friendly and left the work area spotless. Safelite has earned a customer for life.

Ive never had windshield damage before and these guys made it so easy! They fixed my windshield in 20 minutes and their lobby offers coffee/snacks and the TV remote! Very professional and humble people.

If you are hesitant about going here dont be:Fast Glass replacement they took care of everything, I didnt even have to call my insurance company to file a claim. The service manager, techs and staff were courteous, prompt and definitely worked well together. Not that I hope I have another cracked window, but if I do I will go here again.

Great customer service and easy to work with. They worked with my insurance so all I had to do was drop my truck off and pick it up when it was done. Would use them again and highly recommend.

Customer service leaves something to be desired. Won’t waste my time using them for future windshield replacements, will just go through an auto body repair shop and let them do the work from now on. From the start it’s been a hassle, and four days after the mobile installation I’m still dealing with their incompetence. A zero deductible windshield insurance claim shouldn’t be this difficult!The installer was fantastic, that’s about it. Good luck!

Tomorrow will be the 3rd time in 3 years Ive had to replace defective Safelite glass on the rear lift-gate of my 2014 Tahoe. The issue seems to be a low quality wire weld at the point where the defrost coil-cord is attached to the glass. I am very aware of the defroster cords and the stress on the attachment points from the coiled wire.I never had this problem with rear glass wire-welds until I started using Safelite. Perhaps their aftermarket vendors are supplying a low quality product. Remember, this is the 3rd time in less than 3 years that Safelite glass has become defective, so its never gotten beyond their 1 year warranty. Beware of the flimsy excuses they will use if this happens to you.

It took nearly 2 weeks to get my appointment and the technician showed up with the wrong windshield. I was then told that my insurance will not pay for the factory windshield, which was a complete lie. After a bunch of run-around, I was informed that they suddenly could do this for me. I had to reschedule an appointment for today and saw the guy drive past the front of my work. He never called, or followed the simple instructions on where to ask for me if I missed his call. I even had a place for him to replace my windshield out of the rain. This is by far the worst case of customer service I have ever seen. I’ll take my business elsewhere and make sure to spread the word to everyone I possibly can.

I made an appointment several weeks ahead, had everything pre-approved through my insurance, dropped the car off and waited over an hour. Checked back in at the front desk and it turns out they didnt even have the glass for my car so nothing was done. Wasted all that time when they could have called me as soon as they figured out they didnt have the glass. Why would a glass replacement company not figure out that they should have, I dont know, GLASS? They are apparently just now ordering it and wont even reschedule the appointment until they get it which means Im driving around with a cracked windshield for even longer. Inexcusable.

I stopped in 10 minutes before closing on a Friday just to ask what it would take to get the weather stripping replaced on my windshield that came off from a carwash. They went above and beyond and fixed it right there on the spot ! Only took them 10 minutes and they didnt charge me a dime. Great service attitude !

I always dread apts. like these... they said it would be 2 hours - took them 50 minutes, and when I picked my car up, they had told me they cleaned the entire car out and washed my windows. UNREAL experience and customer service. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Called at 9am on Saturday to make an appointment, the representative told me to expect a techinician to arrive same day between 10am to 5pm and the technician will contact me 30 minutes beforehand. I asked again if the technician was going to arrive that same day and the rep told me confidentially that he would, no problem. I canceled a couple of other appointments that day to make time for the tech. I waited all day and no technician, not even a call. I called customer service at 4:50pm (they close at 5pm) and the representative rudely told me that I’m still in the tech’s list of routes and that I am lucky that I got an appointment the same day - making it sound as if the tech was still going to come. It’s 7pm and still no call. I’m done waiting for them, cancelling my appointment first thing Monday morning when they’re open again.
