I have never had a business take the time to make their customers happy as much as Tom, the owner.The cables for my garage door open came off releasing the tension in tension bar. All tech had to do was reset tension bar and reconnect cables. No material provided judt labor.$385 and 20 minutes later he had job done. Way over priced...find a more reasonable company

Our garage door was down and could not be opened even manually. Precision techs Ryan (trainer) and Rashawn (trainee) determined it was a broken plastic spool attached to the cable pulley. Ryan stated this was and older homeowner installed type of system and they did not carry parts for it and were not authorized to work on it because of its age. He explained how we could fix it and get it operational ourselves. They then disconnected the cable system to allow the door to be opened manually (so we could at least get our cars out). Being they could not repair it he Ryan said there would be No Charge! (even though there was supposed to be a $65 service/inspection fee). As they were about to leave, we decided to have them install the newer type of torsion/spring/cable lift system. They did so in about an hour and did a meticulous job of installation and instructions of use. There was absolutely NO attempt to upsell any service (in fact we had to ask as they were about to drive off).We will definitley use Precision Garage Door in the future and they would be our first recommendation to anyone. Ryan and Rashawn did a great job of representing their company.

UPDATE: I previously posted a review expressing my dissatisfaction with Precision Door Service.I promptly received a call from the manager of the company desiring to make things right. After listening to the things that I was unhappy about I received an apology, a financial credit to my bill and an assurance that training would take place with new employees would happen so that others would never have the experience I had. I have to give a lot of credit to the genuine concern and action taken - it changed my mind about this company.Previous post: When your garage door breaks - you need service quick! Precision was very quick to respond and were prompt, communicating exactly when they would arrive. The young man that worked on the door was courteous.However, I have had these kinds of issues serviced again and I felt like their price was very high for the work that was done. They seemed much more interested in selling me a totally new garage door system - making numerous comments about how what I was currently using was a piece of junk and worthless. My garage door system has worked with very few repairs for 26 years now, so I dont feel like it was a piece of junk - and spending the amount of money they felt like I needed to spend to update it seemed out of line.When it was all said and done - they really hadnt fixed the door - I had to call them back as the door only went up 2 feet. They did come back and fix it, but in mind testing to make sure that the repair actually worked should have been part of the process? I dont think that this is the company I will use in the future.

We selected Precision due to good reviews from customers in our area. The website was very user friendly to prepare and review the garage door we wanted we were prepared for the Sales visit. The salesman was very professioanl and knowlegable. The installers were also VERY professonial and efficient. The commication from start to finish was excellent.

Jason did a nice job of explaining the problems with my garage door system beyond the obviously broken spring. Replacing the springs, cables,a brackets will avoid future problems and service calls. The work was done quickly and all clean up was done.

Our garage door tension cables came unraveled rather suddenly on a Saturday. Having no idea how to fix it, we called Precision Door. Ronnie came out the same day and addressed the problem - and also replaced our rollers and the gasket at the bottom of the door. Super friendly, very informative, and competent at his craft. Our door was run into by a car and partially laying on a vehicle in the garage. Precision Door had the new door installed and the old door removed within a few hours. Very professional and knowledgeable.
