Great bike shop - in and out in 10 minutes with a new bike, a trail map and a good explanation of how my bike works. Definitely will be going back.

I bought my mountain bike here this past summer. Despite the bike supply shortage they had exactly what I was looking for. I recently went back to get a back tire for my training stand and was very impressed with the time the took to make sure I was getting the best option and educate me on how to change it in the future. If youre looking for a bike or parts this is a great place to go!

Bought my bike there 3 years ago. Staff were very helpful. This summer I popped two tires and snapped a rear axle on that bike and took it there to get fixed. They did a great job. This week I broke my rear derailleur and plan on taking it there to be fixed.

Great policies during the pandemic. Wonderful customer service. Bought a bike carrier and was thoroughly impressed with their knowledge of the product and the purchasing process.

Stopped in late Monday evening, they have the coolest bike in the window. My husband and I have never been in here before. Wow, the number of bikes they have on the floor was awesome. A young man greeted us and asked us how we were doing. Not pushy at all. We told him we saw the bike in the window and had to stop in. He told us about the bike. We probably spent 20 minutes just talking about bikes and what was new. He showed us the fat tire bikes and the electric bikes. But what really caught my eye was a classic mint colored ladies bike. My husband did some Christmas shopping and found a nice hat with the shop logo on it for our daughter and we picked up two of their shop coffee mugs for my parents. Mark was really loving a pair of winter gloves, so now I have an idea for his gift. We will be back in the spring to get my daughter a bike as she heads off to college. Who knows maybe my husband will remember the bike I liked.

Great place, stopped by today to ask about bike options, accessories, and routes. Joe was very knowledgeable, friendly, and answered all the questions that I had. Going in tomorrow to buy my first bike, would definitely recommend!

Came here Monday July 13th @ 5:15pm. Was left at the door for 10 min. Rude worker. Asked about the website posted in the store & got i dunno dude. Was looking at buying a new bike and got hurries over to the register instead. Horrible way to run a small place nowadays.Ill prob go elsewhere with my tax return to buy a new beachcruiser or mt. Bike.😑

Family owned and operated local business ran by excellent people who strive to promote the bicycle community in the area. Very knowledgeable willing to help. In the 10 years Ive lived in the fox valley I have yet to find a better place to not only purchase, service and even accessorize my bikes, not only that but having a 24 hour turnaround on that service is insane compared to some places 2 week waiting list.Cant recommend it enough.

Once again, Joe and Gwen, owners of Appleton Bicycle Shop, have provided my wife, Chris, and me with amazing service. Chris was looking for a bike rack for her recumbent bike. Not only did Joe and Gwen go above and beyond in helping her figure out what would work on her car and ordering it, but they brought it to the house after it arrived to put it on Chris’ car and demo how to put the recumbent up on it. We are big fans of Appleton Bike and even bigger fans of Joe and Gwen. We would highly recommend Appleton Bicycle Shop for your biking needs.

These guys are awesome. If youre an experienced cyclist or a beginner they will steer you in the right direction. Couple with a full line of bikes from beginner to advanced and fair pricing, I would recommend them to anybody. Ill certainly be back.

Was only in town for a day and decided to rent a bike. Staff was outstanding! They even took the time to map out a 25 mile ride around the city bc I was unfamiliar with Appleton. Highly recommend!!

Loved the fast helpful service !! Brought an old “vintage” bike in to possibly change out the old non-cushion seat . They were scheduled to close in10 min When I arrived but they didn’t hurry me threw the question I was asking and repaired the seat to another more padded one that I had brought along ! Great price and service WONDERFUL! Even the old vintage bikes need repair THANK YOU

We brought our bikes in to get minor brake repairs and the pricing was ridiculous! We spent $11 in parts and our bill was $80 for labor. We will not be back!

Appleton Bicycle Shop had the model of Giant that I wanted on sale. Their staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in their products. They introduced me to many options and were respectful of my price range. I have been to 4 other bike shops and lost interest in doing business with you if you werent willing to shell out some serious cash. I am extremely pleased with my visit to Appleton Bicycle Shop.

I needed an upgrade from my department store bike before a family cycling/camping trip and the service from Appleton Bike Shop was amazing! The staff was really helpful in determining the best type of bike for me considering how I would be using it and I was able to test ride several bike and seat combinations before making a decision. The result was a great, comfortable ride within my budget. I definitely recommend them for knowledgeable, fast, and friendly service!

I love these guys!! Twice my seat came loose and they tightened it up for free. Then I bought my nephew a helmet there, and the price was reasonable, and he thinks the helmet is really cool. Plus, I crashed my bike & they came and picked it up and brought it back (all in the same day) and fixed my clumsy idiocy very, very cheaply. (I should re-phrase that; they didnt fix my clumsy idiocy...I will always have that.) :)

Friendly, knowledgeable, and patient staff which suits buyers that like to umm and ahh and mull. Very competitive prices. Great shop overall.

Joe and Helen ... the best customer care for 80 years

I stopped in today on my way home as I noticed my crank bolt was coming loose. I just finished putting the whole bike together and forgot to torque that one bolt. I used to be a bike mechanic in high school and I know the guys are usually busy so I asked if I could use an allen wrench to spin the bolt tight until I got home. I was told they dont loan tools. I offered to do it in the shop and they told me only employees are allowed. So I asked if they could do it so I could ride home.A different employee came out and told me the same thing about how they dont loan tools and I cannot be in the shop. He was extremely condescending and told me there was more to it than that, that SRAM cranks require special tools, and that it wouldnt have happened if I put it together right. Cool- not sure how you missed Race Face in bright red letters on the crank arms, but these cranks just require an allen wrench. So I asked what else there was to fixing my loose crank bolt twice and he just ignored me. I asked again and he told me to find another shop. I called him out on his attitude and he gave me the excuse that he had a bad day. Finally, he tried to tell me that the issue is that you have to tension the bearings. Nope, that actually is done on the other crank arm with the ring inside that you also clearly missed.Maybe you are new in this business, but if you have personal problems, dont take them out on your customers. You spent more time being a jerk than it would have taken to fix the problem. I rode my bike over to the next closest bike shop and they torqued the bolt down for me in under a minute no questions asked. Then I bought a new bag, multi tool, and some other parts from that shop that I could have easily purchased from your store. I have purchased a lot of stuff from The Appleton Bicycle Shop in the past, but I wont step foot in that store again.UPDATE: I just read the response from the owner. My comments were an opportunity for you to talk to your mechanic about his terrible attitude and extremely rude contact with me that he admitted to. Or you could have at least offered an apology for his actions. Instead you chose to tell some tall tales about me and leave out all the awful things your employee said to me. So who wrote the response from owner? Was it the mechanic or the lady who was laughing at me while suggesting a fix it station that obviously did not have the tool I needed? So if your mechanic was the perfect angel you are trying so hard to fictitiously make him sound like, why was it impossible to get service or even an answer to my one question when I brought the same problem on the same day to another bike shop and it was fixed in less than a minute?

Extremely knowledgeable and friendly service and a wide selection of bike styles and prices (tremendous how much they fit into this smaller store). They took care of all the details (mounted water bottle, lock, etc.).

Best place to do your bike business in the valley real friendly and they no what they are doing. If you have a problem and they can fix it rite away they will.

Id give them 10 stars if I could. I live out of town, kind of in between the Fox Valley/Green Bay/Manitowoc/Sheboygan/Fond du Lac. I have 4 kids, now older, but have gone through a lot of bikes/bike repairs, etc. Ive been all over, trying to find a shop that would make it seem like the cost of the repair was worth the investment. THIS PLACE IS IT!!! Short turn-around time (so I dont have to make 2 trips into town), knowledgeable staff with a good sense of humor, and actually reasonably priced. Im hooked. Im finally done shopping for a bike shop!!!

They ruined my bike. I paid $200 to get it working right. Front tire broke off a week later. Had to call ppl up to high cliff to help get me out. Ten years now.. still waiting for a response. Thanks for the help!
