What a delightful experience. Its a small grocery store, deli, meat market. It has a well stocked butcher case with a butcher on duty. They have a variety of cheese curds, their own private label BBQ Sauces, and salad dressings. Shopping there is like stepping back in time to the 50s or 60s quality and service you dont usually see today.

The best in town, with a excellent variety of everything. Customer service is always #1 here. And who would have thought a butcher would even have cake every now and then. Amazing products with an amazing staff.

It was an awesome experience this morning!! We arrived at 8:30 to a line that reached out the front door😀 we were in line about an hour but the time flew with everyone talking with people in front and in back of them. The entire staff was friendly, helpful and smiling! It was a great way to start our day!

Always the best! This neighborhood meat market by far the best in Wisconsin. The pork bacon that they sell makes the best lardons, and the best side to any breakfast. Well worth the drive from Wautoma about an hour away. Best things on the menu...EVERYTHING!

Grew up going to this store. Feels like a real mom and pop shop, it’s incredibly quaint and has a nostalgic aesthetic. Plus, everything is top of line, incredible and hand made. Can’t get some of this stuff anywhere else.

A hidden gem located between college Ave and Wisconsin Ave on Lawe Street! Large selection of handcut meats, sausages, jerky, homemade flavors, and hard to find items. Quick stop for a loaf of bread, dozen farm fresh brown eggs, or amish rolled butter. My favorite local grocery store in town!

Great place for meat but horrible curbside pick up. Must stay in vehicle according to worker but those outside their vehicle get seved first. Four other vehicles pulled in after me but served before me. Pay attention to order vehicles pull in. Used to love this place.

The best place to pick up your meat there is no better

Weve never once been disappointed by the meat and prepared meals from Jacobs. They also have a lot of local sauces and spices, to make any meal tastier, and work with local bakers for treats you cant find at the grocery store, or even most bakeries. My kids are big fans of the wall of penny candy, and my dad loved the Jacobs-branded gag gifts.

Best meat market in Appleton!

Jacobs Meat Market is a great place to get fresh-cut meat. Their homemade beef sticks are awesome. My boyfriend and I call them Snappers because they snap when you bite into them. They make their smoked meat and cheese right on the premises. Delicious!!

Whole turkey was very tough/chewy, the worst Ive ever cooked. Angelfood candy was awful, had to throw it out, was very bitter. I want to like this place, but it isnt easy. Back to butterball turkeys, sure they squirt them full of chemicals, but Im not embarrassed to serve them. The entire buy local, small business, free of this or that additive experience may make you feel virtuous, but isnt successful if the products dont hack it.

I needed some andouille sausage for some gumbo I was going to be making. I have never been to Jacob’s meat market before and only found it by doing a search on Google maps while I was in Appleton. I’m sure glad I found this random place. The andouille sausage is the best I’ve had anywhere in Wisconsin. I’ll be sure to make it back to Jacobs when I am in the area.

This is the only place I buy my beef, chicken, or pork. The brats are the best, especially the jalapeno ones. Super friendly employees, fast service and the price is always spot on. I will be going to Jacobs for all my meat needs for the rest of my life!!!!!!

Ive been going to Jacobs for 5 years now and I have yet to be disappointed. The small town market feel is awesome, the staff is very friendly. They take pride in the quality of their meats and it shows, I wont get chicken, pork, or beef anywhere else. If you want advice for grilling or smoking they can even recommend the best types or cuts for you. I not only will continue to shop here but I recommend it to anyone who cares about quality and service!

Stopped through here on our road trip to get some Wisconsin quality beef sticks and jerky. Was not disappointed at all buttery prime rib beef jerky has a ridiculous amount of flavor and beef sticks are top notch. This is such an amazing, eclectic meat market. Everything is fresh, well prepared and fantastic. They have a great selection of cheeses and also a decent selection of groceries. Wish I lived closer to this market so I could visit more often.

One of my favorite places on earth. The best meat and service - cant be beat. A foodie heaven, I started coming here as a child and its absolutely magical. I still wish I could have served their ham salad at my wedding. Favorites: ring bologna, wieners, brats, THE HAM SALAD, and yes, even herring.

Theyre ok. Mostly a place people review based on loyalty and nostalgia the old butcher shop gives them.In reality, the meat products are only so-so and can be hit or miss, and most of the additional food items with the Jacobs name on the package are really just re-packaged food items from big companies.Its more of an attraction than it is a top-notch butcher.

Great place to get meat products, cheeses and a bunch of other stuff that is sourced in Wisconsin. Focused mainly on high quality products instead of just their bottom line and a high turnover. Pricing is a little higher on some products and about the same for many compared to big chain stores, but the quality is stupendous.

4-16-20 was our first visit to Jacobs Meat Market. I am very bothered that the gentleman that waited on us had facial hair and did not have a hair net on to cover it. He also handled our ground sirloin without gloves on. He did not wash his hands at any time. We will not be returning. Social distancing was not happening here either.

Today after years or both driving and living by Jacobs Meat Market I held off on going inside the dated exterior of the establishment. After I entered the store both the cashier and someone working behind the glass display stocked with a variety of meat and sausage greeted me as I entered,. After receiving a great deal on some brats that are on sale during one of their weekly sales. I then went to check out and was meet with one of the nicest cashiers Ive seen in a long time. In short when Im out of the brats I bought I will definitely return and support this wonderful store.

Everyone is always friendly and attentive to your requests. The meats offered are varied and of the best quality. I also like the fact I have control over the amount of what I am purchasing. Always look forward to my next visit.

Fresh Turkey for Thanksgiving!

One of my favorite grocery stores in the Fox Valley! Youre treated like family every chance you enter and leave. Youve got a longtime customer, period!

I would have thought the Friday before Mothers Day the meat counter would have been stocked. Some of the meat looked like it was there for days! Not one tenderloin. I was not impressed.

Best Mettwurst ever. Best andouille in a 80-mile radius. And Luke delivers the kind of banter only found in Jewish delis 800 miles away on the East Coast.
