When I go here, Products are decent. Sometimes a good price but you really gotta watch prices & compare. Biggest complaint I & EVERYONE else Ive talked to, is the lack of staff running the check out lines. Theres gotta be at least 20 lines & only 2 -4 open & lines way back with people & no new registers opened up. Seems like a very common thing among Walmarts. I dont expect them to have all 20+ open, but if I have to wait in line for 30-50 minutes, thats way too long. This particular time the lady behind me had left a line & found out 20 min later that she was lucky to make that choice. Line didnt move at all & no one opened a new check out line. She had been waiting before that, I had seen her waiting when I walked past her earlier, & I was originally behind her when I got back in line & chose to try the other line. Still took over 30 min to get through. Staff was nice. Little they can do about this issue, so I hope this message gets through to someone who will make a change & have more open during busier times. Ive got no interest in going through self check out. It really sucks! Tried it again maybe two weeks ago... No thank you! Why ask me all these random questions & why not make it easier? For a simple soda purchase that was not worth the frustration or time it took to go through all that. Highly suggest you do a lot less automated systems & more real people. If youre looking for staffing, try better hours or more regular hours for people to work vs making people work random times. Shouldnt be that hard. I can tell you, I passed up the offer because they couldnt tell me what hours of be working & said chances are it could be any time between early morning & later evening & most likely weekends. Most people cant have their lives that randomized.

Ok so for all Spark drivers today Nov.4th, 2021 this location has decided not to fulfill any Spark black friday deals. They set up all signs on far side of building by lawn and garden area with parking near oil change area put up signs with a number that doesnt work and left all us drivers shaking our heads in utter disarray, waiting for over a half hour or longer with no staff coming out to area or answering the phone. Finally called Spark directly to be told their not doing Spark Black Friday orders. This is B.S. since oders were coming through Walmart spark app starting at Noon today as it stated it would. Spark directly cancelled the order from store. Then they gave a curbside order which was set to be picked up in the area for pickup only to have sit their for 2hrs. When attempting to call store your manager for pickup was extremely rude as for a driver being calm never yelling at her, just simply letting her know what stall I was in and didnt mind waiting . But as I sat for over an Hour, I saw people come and go after I had arrived and get loaded before me, which ok maybe still picking order, but as I sat waiting and watching patiently heading into hour 2, I called Spark support yet again to see if they could get a hold of her and see if order was still being picked, she came on phone only to say ya it was picked and would be out . I said ok only to have to for a total of 3hours waiting. I strongly suggest you hire a new manager for she is treating employees and Spark delivery drivers very very rudely. I believe she blacklisting drivers. I have personally heard your hard working pickers and runners saying how awful she is. I feel bad for them being treated poorly.Spark driver of Appleton Wi

The staff is very helpful in finding that I needed and Im handicapped and they were very helpful in assisting me.

For the most part they have what you want, but they are getting worse and worse at stocking their shelves and having stuff always in the food isles that you cant get through! They drop off pallets at prime shopping times and just leave with nobody tending to them.

Something didnt ring up at the self checkout so one of the Walmart associates had to check why. He said, it was not put away right on the self. So I asked, If the item could be replaced with one of the other still on the shelf. He said, I dont have time for that. Great way to run a business. Are future generation is a joke.

I do not like shopping here. Its just the attitude I get from this store. It is hard to get in, and out of the parking lot. I go here only when I have to. Today it was to return an on line purchase. I rather much drive 20 miles to De Pere when I shop in store. I have always found the staff in De Pere to be more welcoming, and just a nicer more well maintained store than Appleton.

Very rarely these days do you fins a Walmart with good service. This one does. And everything is always easy to find.

Went to return diapers here that my son outgrew. We didnt have receipt because they were given to us at our babyshower. We were told we could exchange for a different size, then instead of exchanging they changed their minds and started talking about theft and stealing at their store. Ive never once stolen anything and this made me very uncomfortable. We ended up leaving not being able to return. I have returned everything necessary at target with no unnecessary questions or issues. Guess that shows the type of company walmart is

I only go here for convenience. If I wanted to work here I would. I do not get paid to check my own purchases while the workers stand around and chatter.

Had called last week and talked to someone in the clothing department. She was a woman an i didnt get her name, but she was extremely rude... I asked her if you guys had a certain item an very snappy she said yes we do... I then proceeded to ask her to double check for me please,** because i was there before and you have been out of this item for quite awhile, and if it was there i was going to see if the lady could set it aside for me**... She didnt check an was again very rude and snappy with me... So i took her word and went to this Wal-Mart location. You were completely out of this product and the shelf look like someone destoried it.

Its ok the people who work there tend to push customers off instead do there jobs and help people, and you got one person who wheres a skirt and harass people on there way out the store by checking items wich I understand they have to make sure no one steals but then do it with everyone not certain people. What happened to peoples freedom

All the new summer clothing is out. They now have the clothing nicely divided into two teens women and full figures. Very nice to pick out clothing. But I still do not like self check out

Usually know what I want...got 3 of one item for bldg of 250 plus seniors...with the promise of more available as needed.

Picked up grocery orders there a few times. Each time it took a half hour for someone to bring my order out. Absolutely pathetic. Learn how to run a store. Never going here again.

Its not particularly this Walmart but I wish Walmart would quit moving stuff around. Youre not going to get me to buy anymore because you move stuff around.

The woman in check out was so nice in showing me how to order cigarettes through the cash register.

Optic Center was great they were able to replace the screw in my bow where the place that I bought my glasses from couldnt even do.

Today I went there and they had everything I needed. So that was a one-stop shop.

Ordered an AC for pick-up. They sold out before I got it, instead of getting it off the floor right away. My money is still on hold almost a week later, so I cant go somewhere else and get one....

Love the employees in Mondays. Always super nice and friendly. Weekend could use improving but weekends are demanding as well.

It was the Appleton story. Everything went fine. But no bottles of root beer zero. And yellow paint by the gallon couldnt be located. Had to purchase spray paint.

Its Walmart. I think we all know the drill. This one is one of the nicer ones.

Not our normal store so the layout was a bit confusing but very clean and nice.

Sadly, A female associated refuse to let me and my wife who are both over 21 to purchase alcohol just because a minor next to me whose my little brother. This is first time happen to me. We are just trying to have a family reunion and have some fun! It doesn’t matter for me to drink or not, just because we had been treated by rude and disrespectful.

Placed a pickup order for 2 different items with getting a specific amount of them for my order. Super simple and the items are right next to each other. 7hours later still not ready for pickup. Lazy employees.

Its walmart. Nothing major, never have the store exclusives youre looking for in the Fox Valley or Oshkosh area. Only go there when I need something they have really.

Checked online for a new phone it was in stock at store,it was a fast no nonsense shopping experience.

I havent been at Walmart in a long long time, until today. I was so surprised that theres no cashiers available anymore to check you out - to bag the $150+ dollar I spent on groceries... there was like 3 registers with actual employees and the rest its on your own - like figure it out how to check out and bag your own. I mean I like to have the option to check my self out if I have 1 item or 2. But not if I have 30+ items... no thanks. You do know that no everyone is tech savvy right. Specially older generations. This is a no for me.

I like it here and Ive never had an issue. Ive even had a Walmart employee go out of their way to find a special dinosaur backpack for my son. Great place to go

Love my weekly WalMart runs. Most of the Cashiers are always so nice and helpful. I prefer this one over the other appleton location because this one is just so much more enjoyable to be at where the other one has pretty bad employees (very rude) and this location has employees who seem like they actually want to help you.

Nobody acts like they want to be there or even are aboit their job!

If I wanted to check out and bag my own groceries I would have went to Aldis. No cashiers available and everyone was in self checkout. Next time I will happily leave a cart of perishable food without batting an eye.

In tough times like this with the COVID 19 Virus Walmart is doing what they can to help and their employees are doing their best to fill grocery orders so please be patient and understanding, not perfect but they are trying real hard. Stay safe and healthy!!

Went to this Walmart to pick up a prescription as our normal pharmacy was out. That was fine. But, the way they herd people in and out of the building makes me feel like I’m just one of the cattle. I’d paid at the pharmacy but still couldn’t just walk out the door. I was supposed to still walk through the checkout area. Really? Seems silly, and I’m definitely not feeling the customer service love. Reminds me why I don’t visit there often.

Auto checkout??? Really??? Then they ask to see your purchases... And have multiple people standing around but not enough peoe to stock shelves... Really going downhill fast

Waited 30 minutes for someone to pick up the pharmacy phone. Was told everyone came at once. Incorrect. Car a was there when I got there, car B pulled up 5 minutes after me, and car c 7 minutes later. No reason for that long of hold time. Gave my info to 4 different people to be thrown on hold right after with no reason as to why...

Besides the apparant homeless people living in the store it is a nice location, I’ve only seen a few cops come here so far!

Nice place to get whatever I need. When you can find a person to help you they are friendly. I dont like self check out. I am not at work. Not sure why we have to do their work. Old school. I like personal touch.

Had a scheduled grocery pickup at 12 today. Pull in and they tell me they are running behind. Im thinking no problem, 10-15 minutes Ill be ok. An hour later they still havent come out with my order. You think they would call or text? NOPE that would be good customer service and apparently they are not about that. By now I have to leave, maybe they thought it was ok for me to stay in the parking lot for hours but I cant. So I try and call since they wont call me, get put on hold and they say it will be 45 minutes. Eventually they just disconnect me and say they will call back. Still no call back, no groceries, and I have no time. This place is terrible with communication and costumer service would NEVER recommend to anyone that has an schedule in their day they have to follow. Because Walmart lives by their own rules and screw what the customer needs or what they agreed to do.

Friendly staff, when you can find them, pretty clean. Just not a huge fan of the check outs.

Yes, they had what I needed. Yes, I used the self checkout. (Is there another option anymore?) Yes, I had to ask the attendant to remove the security device. This was challenging for her! Yes I was asked to present a receipt for something I just paid for. Yes, the box was large and I needed both hands to carry it! Yes, I told her it was in my wallet and continued walking.

The people who help at self checkout have had bad attitudes lately. I understand if you’re having a bad day, but it doesn’t seem that way. I waited for 5 mins for someone to come help me on self check and it wasn’t busy.

Alyssa and her teammates today went beyond about getting information on a family pack sausage my husband and I didnt get to use for our Christmas dinner. It was no where to be found and also We misplaced our receipt but she manage to find our purchase on their computer. Thank you so much.

They need more actual people running the few actual registers that have.

Everyone I saw was taking covid precautions. The store was clean the shelves were well stocked and the employees were friendly and helpful. Even though the store was quite busy the self checkout was a breeze.

Like most other Walmart stores, many empty shelves, stockers trying to keep up, produce area trashed.

Its a Walmart, tends to be stocked better than the Neenah and Oshkosh locations.

Literally everything was about to expire in the deli section I do not recommend this place at all. Terrible selection of items and products aswell. Disappointed in this store.

Has just about anything you could need from A to z . Its like your one stop store to pick-up everything you need. Pick up food and wine beer go over and pick up a nice outfit to wearOh and dont forget to grab that paint you need for hubby to paint the bedroom this weekend. Did it all and did not have to go to three stores. Thats what I like about Wal-Mart.

My debit card wouldnt work and one employee was being very rude about my request to hold everything and come back with cash.she said she didnt think they would be able to do that. They would be open for another hour and I was only going to an atm. Thankfully another far more helpful employee stepped in when I asked for a manager. He wasnt a manager but he figured out the problem with the self check register and my card worked just fine. Imagine that. Maybe the first employee should start taking notes from his example.

Stopped at this Walmart to check out fax machines, four young guys behind the counter, I ask them about their cheapest fax machine and one of them pointed two isles over and he said theyre all over there and that was it. I told him Ill go somewhere else where Im more appreciated. I went directly to the front services and told the two ladies up there what happened and they said they will get a hold of the manager and let him know what happened.

A lot of things arent in stock. Everything is self checkout and those who didnt want to use self checkout stood in a line as long as the entire checkout area. Most of these people were advanced in the art of aging and should have been tended to rather than made to wait in line. They dont want to learn how to use the self checkout, or they just have too many items. Poor people, just open up more regular check outs.

Very rude, workers act like they are better than you. I get they are suppose to watch the self check outs but sometimes their staring makes me just was to say screw it and leave to shop somewhere else.

Layout is funky. Everytime I go, theyre out of at least one thing on my list. Very limited selection.

Had a handicapped person with us they used the electric chair from walmart battery died really fast so we had to cut trip short as we are cashing out they closed the GM side early before 8pm making us go all the way to the other door with a handicapped person who can bearly walk with a cane. And they wouldnt open the door for it to be easier for her very disappointed by Walmart staff.

I Always have a great experience with Walmart online or off. The best service for the best price, all while maintaining a clean and safe environment! Thanks Walmart!

During covid they take wearing a mask and spacing seriously, staff were helpful and store laid out well.

Money Services is down every time I go in.

I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but Walmart never fails to disappoint me. Needed to cash a check, but their check reader could not process it. Machine at pick n save had no problem. Shame on me for expecting better from Walmart.

I dont normally review Walmarts or things like that. But this is the biggest one I ever been in. I came to town for cramping and needed some stuff and the workers were so nice and helpful.
